I really think there needs to be some kind of scheme or something to incorporate these actions into schools and inspire the next gen. There really needs more people like you in the world!
Great video, I love Sustainable Sundays! Some of my 2018 resolutions are for example quitting fast fashion, not buying makeup and using up what I have and also being more sustainable, mindful and healthy in general.
I used a reusable bag when I went thrifting the other day and it felt so good. Not to mention that my thrift store fragrances their bags so the clothes end up smelling gross.
Such a great video! I've kind of made a rule for myself to only buy sorta short-time-usage clothing items at thrift stores/second hand. Like I'll invest in a good, new backpack or winter coat or even jeans, because those are items I'll be using for a long time and I want them to last, as well as feel just right for me. But other stuff, like t-shirts and canvas shoes and stuff, I'll buy second hand, because those are items I like to switch around a lot and it's super wasteful to buy a brand new t-shirt, only to get tired or it a few weeks later and throw it out.
My key changes for 2018 is to always use reusable water bottle, coffee cup and shopping bag. I've also switched to solid shampoo and soap instead of plastic packaged products and also to a bamboo toothbrush
I love your videos about sustainability!!! 2018 is about making ethical consumer choices when we can! My fav tip is buying a menstrual cup- not only is it less wasteful but it changed my life ohhhh my god periods are so much easier now
Hi ! I really liked this video, I think it's always a good idea to remind us that we can do things for the environment. Thank you for that. My resolutions for 2018 are definitely to take shorter showers (I usually shower for like 30 minutes) and to buy a menstrual cup (although it seems a bit challenging). I'm also gonna keep eating vegetarian food (which I already do since a year and a half ). Thank you again ! Greetings from France :)
Héloïse Pailler Do try the menstrual cup if you haven't already! It takes some time to get used to but compared to all the benefits that becomes irrelevant :) I have mine for almost two years now and would never go back 😄
i ABSOLUTELY LOVED every single point you made! this video was super inspiring and I will definitely be trying to incorporate these changes into my life. THANK YOU xxx
I'm also very passionate about thrift shopping for clothes, accessories, books and homeward. I like to do an edit on my stuff a couple of times a year and then donating to charity shops
This is a wonderful video- we Must Protect Mother Earth, Be it from pollution to littering! I’ve taken “military showers” for as long as I can remember (eg. Whilst soaping up the H2O is OFF!) and run my dish rinsing water very low- Why is it necessary to have it going full force- makes me crazy! When I have to use a dehumidifier in my cellar during hot months to cut down on moisture every bit of water collected goes into the washing machine to use for laundering clothes. I’m also a veritable human trash compactor with garbage- fold or twist everything as small as possible to cut down on bulk and ANY PLASTIC bags, etc. with handles are cut with scissors to avoid fish strangling in them if they end up in the ocean- HORRIBLE!
Wear I Live Thank You‼️ I commented on a vid of yours a while back saying I recalled the “door knocker” and “bowling ball & bowling pin” earrings but didn’t get a response and hoped I didn’t offend you; we had a bit of a rough start due to my poorly worded inadvertently insensitive comments but You Set Me Straight & graciously agreed to start over- Yay‼️ I cant find the vid now but it was also where you mentioned using a natural hair colour product & I asked why you coloured your hair cuz I’ll bet it’s GORG in its natural state‼️ Write back if you get a chance. ❤️ P.s. Haven’t eaten “cow” for well over a decade and don’t miss it one damn bit- when people seem amused and ask why I state, “Because I don’t like Where they get it and How- Simple as that.” As for lamb or calf?!? NEVER! P.p.s. You’re Great ☺️
preach about the showers! the California drought and water rations were during my high school time and when I go to college everyone made fun of me for my short showers but I was like idk im used to it and it helps the environment
THE DIVA CUP IS THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO ME!!! also for grocery shopping, I use reusable mesh bags for my bulk/produce items, mine are from brand purifyou and you can get them on amazon or here: www.purifyou.com

What's wrong with recycling stuff
Don’t you use plastic bags for garbage?
