I really like the way Jacob roleplays Vellynne. He makes her such a fun character and he does a great job of having her react realistically to things based only on the information she knows. I feel like it's super easy as a DM to accidentally have the npcs turn into mouthpieces, but he doesn't fall into that trap.
@@silversugar2140 the book describes her as pragmatic, which is accurate for this game, but also as cold and dispassionate. Vellynne is like that early on, but Jacob made her more open once they got the Codicil and I think that was a good choice for non-player character growth.
