I came here because I was starved for Time for Chaos Season 2. Ended up loving it. This group is the best. GCN really brings something special to the hobby.
I'm glad you guys didn't disappoint on the 40 mins of bant' before you actually started the campaign. 😂 I knew it would be there and that it would have me cackling. So excited for this adventure. ❤
As far as I could tell, the cast nailed both the podcast and video experience. When I was only listening the descriptions were great, and when I watched, the added visual experience provided a great extra layer.
I was listening while doing yardwork which took way too long as I had to stop and watch at times. Anybody who had apprehensions about losing the podcast experience should be happy(I usually only listen now but when I have the chance I'll watch)
The best part of this new format? I can seamlessly move from listening to the podcast recording while I do housework to watching the professionally revorded video on the porcelain throne and back again! Revolutionizes the experience, fantastic start for the GCP team
Finally finished the first campaign podcasts and now I get to dive into this. Props to the increase in the production quality of the show. Overall this will be a good ride!
Came in with Time For Chaos and am working my way backwards. Just got caught up with Get in the Trunk. Looking forward to this! I've been playing (and, mostly, running) since 1982 when I was in the army, through every edition of A/D&D, Pathfinder, CoC, Delta Green, Traveller, Star Wars, Gamma World, and the gods know what else, with 5 different long term groups: this was the way I always wanted it to go. Bravo everyone! Imma gonna keep watching.
Found you guys on instagram and laughed hysterically from a reel. I’m totally hooked, smiling every second of viewing for the past hour. You guys are terrific and I’m so excited to keep up and catch up!
Your enthusiasm is contagious! Seriously, you guys go from laughing to serious at the speed of a rocket! I don't even like medieval fantasy that much, but I'm definitely going to watch this show until the end, it's going to be a long seven years!!
Wow. Just wow. This is what i wanted and more. So good. Hope this helps expand your brand even more. The projects you have been working on have all been good, but this just feels... right. So excited for this journey, to watch you all and enjoy it with the Naish.
I gotta say Joe has got the musical touch, that fade in on the intro(s) was spot on. Totally transported me there. Now if only I could manifest it. Lovin the new feel to the main campaign of the network, it is definitely giving me Get in the Trunk vibes, and it's great. Can't wait for next week.
The chills running through my body while watching just the INTRO alone are a clear indicator that this is the best network in Gaming, bar none. NAISH LETS GOOOOOO
Already listened to the podcast. Showed up here to see the character art and ended up rewatching the whole damn thing! Great to see you all back together and starting a new campaign.
I am so blown away by this intro. I started on the podcast version, it was just the next track on my podcatcher. Then there was a sick new voice over talking about the new campaign, which hyped me UP! So I opened the podcatcher and ended up reading the description (I never do this). Now I'm here. I was impressed with the podcast intro, watched the first few minutes of the video and just HAD to say something. I AM BLOWN AWAY. Can't wait to watch the rest. So happy for all you guys, it must be a dream come true.
GCP got me through working security in portland during the early 20s and after the last table i ran went bad three years ago listening to GCP again actually got me to send out a call for a new game which i am now running to the delight and dismay of my players. Troy taught me how powerful killing a character can be, joe taught me that failure sometimes makes the story better (but not as much as he fails), skid taught me that the dm doesnt have to be the one who knows the most, grant taught me that gunslingers are broken and i should kill them in session one, and matthew taught me stepping out of your comfort zone when youre playing a character can create a unique experience. Thank you so much to the gcp crew for saving ttrpgs for me, for getting me through hard times, and for putting yourselves out there and being an authentic crew
I'm really happy to see how happy the crew is with what they've done and their new space. Even if the community were lukewarm to it, it's something the crew have wanted and worked their asses off to get.
I just started watching glass cannon. First with a couple of Cthulhu one shots and now starting on this campaign. These people are incredible. This is up on my list with critical role and dimension 20.
You guys have really stepped up the quality of the content this year its been great to watch the progression. Glass cannon is my favorite group for sure 🎯💯
This is so fuggin incredible, what an amazing intro! And the camera cuts! And the art, and the voices, and these characters. Got DANG I'm so excited to see the rest of these.
What a fantastic premiere to kick off Campaign 2!! The character art is sick. The video is so great with all the different camera angles and flawless cuts from person to person. I have been a diehard member of the Naish since the beginning of 2020 and I couldn't imagine not being part of such a fantastic community with this stellar cast and crew. I feel very blessed to be a member of the Naish. Keep up the good work GCN crew! And don't forget, there is no 1080p, only Zuul...
Skid's character backstory reminds a lot of V of Vendetta, a freedom fighter born out of fire! Knew Skid would knock it out of the park, but this was even better than I imagined!
Where do I sign up for the Skid Maher Appreciation Society? Crushes it with his characters every time. And so damn funny without ever letting a bit go on too long nor ever hogging the spotlight. Pure genius. That character intro scene…..wow!
So excited to you guys start a new long campaign together. I've been following for a long long time and remember those first episodes from the apartment. I remember a very early episode, before you started uploading to UA-cam, when you guys first started gaining serious traction, I can't remember the episode but Troy had given a little pregame speech about never giving up and following your dream no matter how absurd. You guys are what inspired me to create Rolltop Realms. It's taken a lot of work, both technically and emotionally; to never give up an juggle in other grownup responsibilities, find likeminded/committed players; learning to edit, to perform, finding the right and affordable software. Our videos only go back maybe 7-8 months but I've been at it since that old speech Troy gave. I always tell every ttrpg player I meet that the GCP is the best. Cheers to your success and your journey 🍻. If we ever get a chance to work together in the future it would be a personal dream come true. Thanks again for all the great content and for letting us get to know you all. Greg @RolltopRealms
Expensive lawsuit narrowly avoided! Wifey was just taking a pull from a can of Radler when she heard "You bring the bow tie and I'll bring the nothing else"...and laughed so hard she nearly choked.
I listened to this show during original giant slayer, did all of Android and aliens. Picking this show up now after a hiatus. Watching this is exactly how I imagined the original giant slayer campaign in my head. I'm going to speed through these episodes to get to current. You're all doing a great job.
@@thehermitthetower1126 Totally- I know internet personalities, just like actors in general, are very subject to personal taste, but I was beginning to think I had uncovered some weird latent sexism in me before I was introduced to these two ladies. They are rockstars in my book.
Man, had to watch the intro three times before I started the show. SO FUCKING DOPE. Whoever chose that song...Chef's kiss. Fuck yes. I haven't even watched the ep and I'm all Jazzed up! Love you guys, as I said before. YOU GUYS DESERVE THIS. ❤
So excited, been part of the Naish since early Starfinder. I have listened/watched Androids, GCP C1, and so many others. Love this crew and they got me into GMing Age of Ashes. Cannot wait to see the places this campaign takes them and us!!!
Thank you GCP! Listener since episode 5 waaaaay back in the day... It's something else to see the whole crew together at one table. Excited for the story to come.
The number of times I've listened to that jazzy intro is literally INSANE. It would be awesome if we could get the intro as an independent video to listen to.
You guys are such amazing writers and storytellers. Some of my all time favorites. Literally up there with Brandon Sanderson and Andrzej Sapkowski. You all have such an incredible way with words, Mathew and Skid in particular.
I think Troy, with his reverence for TV, would like to know that I was more excited about this video popping up on UA-cam than I have been for any television event this year (and I appreciate me some good TV). I've loved so many of the newer shows on the network but I've been waiting for the next iteration of the CGP with bated breath. You have not disappointed!! Thrilled that this is the group you landed on. Long time fan x
Congratulations on a superb opening, GCN! The banter, the backstories, the opening of the campaign proper, all tied up with great production values - what an excellent package. When "There is no soup" came up, I couldn't help thinking of the line "No hay banda" and the whole Club Silencio scene in Mulholland Dr., which may be a movie about a different kind of gatewalking. So (he closes with, enigmatically), NO HAY SOPA.
I love listening to the podcast, but wanted to check out the video for the art work. It's very tempting to just keep watching instead of turning the podcast back on. Everything is looking great! The level of quality is so high. I have been a loyal listener for years now and you keep on amazing me. Great job and have fun with this new campaign!
“Stumbling exposition and bad dice rolls” describes how my new barbarian character joined the group - flailed around a bit and then knocked himself out!
When I first met Troy at Odin Brewing after, iirc, their first Paizocon and had listened to several episodes... I knew they'd succeed. I didn't imagine they'd go this far, get this big, and keep delivering. Incredible work.
I'm so excited for this campaign! All the characters are awesome and very unique All the artwork is incredible! Too many great little moments to note throughout the sesh. Lets go!
Since I started watching your videos I've wrangled some of my own friends into joining me at a nice, round table to roll dice and play make believe, so it's such an absolute joy to see the GCP crew hanging out around a nice, round table to muck around, roll dice and play make believe. Big thanks to you guys for the entertainment and also the inspiration, can't wait to see where this campaign goes. But... what am I supposed to call a session 0 now?
It may be corny, but you guys have helped me through the toughest times in my life. Here's to good people giving us a way to escape the world when it gets tough. Love you GlassCannon
This unironically has the potential to be the greatest actual play show ever recorded And this is coming from the same network that does Get In The Trunk *and* Time For Chaos!
Absolute masters at work here and we are just scraping the smegma off the crusty exterior of the Gatewalker adventure path. What roiling evil liquid centre waits beneath? For some reason every time I watched Skid I was thinking it was a plucky younger Michael Cain in the Muppet Christmas Carol delivering character bombs with each spoken syllable. Can't wait to see the next episode!
Holy sh*t! It was amazing and awesome to see you all back at the table for "live play"! THIS, is what I love to watch, and that session did not disappoint! I know, with COVID you had to go to the roll20 stuff... but this is just so needed! WOULD love to see a few more other shows, also table live!
I used to only listen to the many podcasts via Patreon. But this one I will watch! Outstanding content, you guys should be proud. Maybe in the future you guys can have a camera perched on top to have some wide shots of the table and the 6 of you.
So proud of the way you guys have grown and adapated and become something truly special over time. I came in through Androids and Aliens and have loved everything you guys have done!
Thanks for watching the Pathfinder Second Edition Gatewalkers Adventure Path. We can't wait to see what they do with it!
Greatest partnership in gaming!!!

Congrats to Paizo. Fans are LOVING this. This is content!
I'm a @Paizoinc fan BECAUSE of Glass Cannon. Thanks for working with them all these years.

But... what am I supposed to call a session 0 now?
i've watched this everyday since its release and i'm still just as amazed as I was when I first watched. So good!
It may be corny, but you guys have helped me through the toughest times in my life. Here's to good people giving us a way to escape the world when it gets tough. Love you GlassCannon
Thanks! We are glad we can help!
This unironically has the potential to be the greatest actual play show ever recorded
And this is coming from the same network that does Get In The Trunk *and* Time For Chaos!
And Haunted City, and Legacy of the Ancients, and Blood of the Wild, and….
Holy crap! Where do they find the TIME?
Haunted City wants a word.
0:44 you can almost hear Don Pardo saying “it’s Saturday Afternoon Live!”
These people are simply the best.
I used to only listen to the many podcasts via Patreon. But this one I will watch! Outstanding content, you guys should be proud. Maybe in the future you guys can have a camera perched on top to have some wide shots of the table and the 6 of you.
Thanks!
So proud of the way you guys have grown and adapated and become something truly special over time. I came in through Androids and Aliens and have loved everything you guys have done!
So happy that I watched this on UA-cam and saw the amazing artwork! I'm looking forward to your podcast keeping me company on my drives.
Time for Troy to kill even more beloved PCs!
And Joe's PCs as well!
New fan, first time following a GCN campaign. I am so fucking excited
