Congrats on your video but as a piece of advice in the future ...always attached links of the products you are installing. I like the rearview mirror led turn signals. Everything else I already have in my MK5 jetta.

Pretty sure upgrading original bulbs to led or xenon bulbs is illegal in the UK now? MOT failure I've read. If the factory shipped lights are altered then they're illegal and the old bill will stop you.

How did you find the bulbs for those aftermarket headlights? Ive got the same headlights and want to upgrade from the warm white bulbs to the ones you installed.
Where did you find the aftermarket headlights?

Those aftermarket headlights were tacky to start with anyways. Dunno what you see in them, to fit them on, in da 1st place. Nothing personal, just my opinion, a'ite?!
Appreciate your opinion, and sometimes I do agree with you. But I like the way they look at night. Maybe I'll switch them out in the future

@@Tube-xn2jl I got a 5 door 1.9 diesel DSG and I’ll be honest bro the insurance was a lot I paid £369 first payment and after that it’s around 250 a month so I’d suggest getting a smaller engine maybe a 1.6 if possible but the cars worth it in my opinion couldn’t have asked for anything better for my first car.
@@Tube-xn2jl I got mine of Facebook market place paid £1400 for it, got a good deal tbf as the milage isn’t too high for an old car.
Hey man got the headlights was wondering what bulbs they take and how to put them in. And if they are still working to this day from the video being made.
Hey man all the bulbs that came with the headlights are still fitted and work. I only changed 2 of the bulbs. I replaced the dipped headlight for a 'xenon style' bulb, either from osram or Phillips. And the top orange strip I replaced with a 5w5 LED orange light to make it brighter. Hope this helps

I bought them from eBay. I would attach a link but the seller has taken them off. Just search for "Golf Mk5 wing mirror LED indicator".

What alloys are they mate?
They are called Rotiform ZMO-M. I have a video of me fitting them, with all the wheel and tyre sizes in the description

Where did you get your headlights from mate?
I just searched for halo ring headlights on eBay or wish.com. I paid about £150
I think your ones have been discontinued, there’s plenty of the same style but with the strip at the bottom not the top. only found 1 pair like yours on AliExpress but no reviews or description, Defo the best looking ones. Are they plug and play install too or need to add relays etc ? Cheers
It's not plug and play. You'll need to do some wiring connections. But it's very easy, black to black and white to white.
