TU-144, you say? The best I can do is TU-154 (nickname Flying Coffin). Not quite as exciting. Sorry about that.
I was a passenger on TU-154 in 1985. Four times. I flew from Tallinn to Odessa and from Odessa to Adler. And then back. It is quite odd to think that the very first flight of my life was pretty much to a current war zone. Not flying to Odessa now!
I mentioned in my diary (that I still have!) that I threw up. But I was a child and children are supposed to vomit everywhere.
The landings were hardcore and I thought they were supposed to be like that until I took a Scandinavian Airlines flight to Stockholm in 1996 and totally missed the landing. When I looked out of the window, the wheels were already on the ground. Fortunately now we have Ryanair. Yay! Not quite as violent as Aeroflot in the 1980s but at least they are trying.
I wonder if Ryanair could be convinced to buy this TU-144. It would become a star of many UA-cam landing videos. If Ryanair doesn't want it, ask "American Ryanair" (Spirit) to buy it.

I bet flying on the TU-154 was memorable! I flew the American version, the 727, though the 727 I think was a bit larger in length.
That was a very fully comment. Thanks for making me laugh!
