Awesome video man! I greatly appreciated the upload and learned a lot from watching. My wife got me this watch for Christmas and it's my first Garmin. I didn't know anything about it prior to today. Neither did my spouse, she just randomly picked it out. I lucked out big time and am loving the watch. Anyway, safe travels and thanks again 🍻
Merry Christmas mate! You’ve been absolutely spoiled by your wife 🌟 Also, welcome to the Garmin club 👊🏽 Talk about that for luck 🤣 Glad this video helped you learn some real-world tips and tricks and wish you the best with your adventures. Cheers again mate and all the best 🍻
I really enjoyed your review. I liked your enthusiasm for the what the watch could do. Have recently ordered so looking forward to trying it out myself
I really like your style of review. So many just focus on specs and the same old stuff... you actually show how you use it and what features are valuable and practical. Keep it up! Also, what kind of vest is that? looks cool!
Cheers mate! I’m definitely trying to break the mould of just reading off a specs/marketing sheet 🔥 I personally definitely preferred the reviews with a personal touch and real-world use cases 🙈 cheers again man, I will keep it up! The vest is by Nike amzn.to/3tL4jXP it’s one of the best gilets I’ve ever used for comfort, Thermoregulation and weight/warmth ratio. All the best 🔥👊🏽
Useful video. I was split between the Fenix 7 Pro SS and the Fenix 8 but couldn’t justify the price tag of the 8 - £350 increase. The 7PSS seems a solid watch. Also copped the nylon band from your description. Thanks man
Yess mate, you’ve gone for a great set up! It’s a great watch and the nylon band is the cherry on top for comfort 🔥 All the best with your Adventures 🫶🏽
What you said about the 47mm compared to the 51mm is what ive needed to hear, i had the fenix 7x and i sold it because of the size and weight of it, it was too noticeable. But to hear the 7 pro feels normal is a big selling point for me.
I’m in the exact same camp as you mate.. I went both ways.. tried the 7s and it felt too small with not so great battery life.. and tried the Enduro 2 which just felt like a brick haha. The 7 pro is the perfect weight, fantastic battery life and a super bright flashlight 🔥 Let me know if you go for it! Also check my links for some good deals 😉
@@ActiveIdeasThanks for the video and for your comment. I just choosing between 7 pro and 7X pro. Is the screen size of 7pro enough for maps and for comfortable everyday use?
As a watch guy (I like traditional watches) I just had to go for the 7S Sapphire Solar. Sapphire glass is a must-have for me and the 42mm size is close to the size of the traditional "real" watches I usually wear. Solar I could go without but I got the 7S Sapphire Solar for a great deal now (not the Pro) for just $499 here in Sweden. Really happy with that as I start taking my health more seriously and start tracking it (I am a data-nerd). I did have the Fenix 3HR way back and so I went with another Fenix as I am sure I will get used to it fast, compared to say the Suunto alternatives that I was also looking at before placing my order.
Thanks for sharing that mate! Really appreciate the comment! The 7S sapphire solar is a fantastic buy and for $499 you’ve grabbed yourself an absolute bargain! 🔥 good luck with your health and fitness journey my man.. rooting for you!
@@TheOscarWerner Outdoorexperten had a good deal posted on their last one in stock but it was too good to be true. It didn't get shipped for 3 days and so I contacted them and they said it wasn't available anymore. So there must have been something wrong on their side. So I bought a regular Fenix 7S from Scandinavian Photo instead for like $500.
Thanks hopefully I will. Have recently retired and will be using mostly for the health statistics. Will be an upgrade from an instinct 2 solar which I have really enjoyed over the last couple of years. I agree with you about the HRV being a useful metric. Enjoy your activities with your garmin 👍
Thank you for a very nice video. I own the Garmin Fenix 7X Pro Solar. I really like the watch, but as you mentioned about the size, it's quite big, so I consider buying the 7 Pro instead. I actually switched away from the Apple Watch Ultra 2, mainly because I had to charge it like every other day, and it only works with an iPhone. Soorry if my English gramma is not up to Google standards. But what I really love about the Garmin watches is that they work well across platforms. They perform just as well with the companion app on iOS and Android. Since my backup phone in the field is an Android phone, I really like this feature. And since I drive a lot in traffic due to work, I like to be able to monitor my heart rate to make sure that when I get to a rest stop, I can do some breathing exercises to get my heart rate back under control again. I also really enjoy that you get the morning report, as you stated in your video. Unlike the Apple watches where you just need to "CLOSE YOUR RINGS" for the day, the Garmins suggests your activity for the day based on your sleep pattern, or lack thereof. Sorry for my late comment but UA-cam only presented your video just now. Liked and subscriped.
Thankyou so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences! You make some really good points about Garmin vs Apple and the Android/Ios compatibility 🔥 I’m so excited to see what else Garmin does this year, bring it on 🫢 Thanks for like and subscribing 👊🏽🔥
Thanks for the awesome review! I am choosing between fenix pro, epix pro and forerunner 965 for running and everyday use, so I am wondering what to get.
Awesome video. Thanks for taking the time 👍🏼. These new Garmins are really phenomenal. I’ve got the Epix Pro and I have zero complaints. They really nailed it.
@@ActiveIdeas I opted for fenix 7x pro instead of the epix - the amoled is a draw for sure, but I'm coming from a 5x plus - so the upgrades on the fenix were very satisfactory to me - besides, I got a 20% disc for OOW trade - so 740 US after tax with discount. I'm happy - coming tomorrow!
This is indeed a fantastic and very complete watch. I personally bought the Epix Pro Gen 2 47mm Titanium and I love it! I use it mostly for hiking and the maps and navigation are awesome! Also love the live tracking.
Thanks for the comment 🔥 Ooo how do you set up live tracking? I’m still yet to use that.. does that mean anyone with a link can follow you? How does that affect watch/phone battery life?
I picked up the fenix 7 solar pro a week ago with a lovely student discount the amount of data it provides compared to my old Apple Watch Series 8 is amazing definitely worth the purchase
Welcome to the club! I absolutely LOVE Garmin for the amount of data they provide.. there’s no doubt about it, it’s industry leading and actually offers accurate and insightful information about your wellbeing training 🔥
it is one of the most detailed and on the spot review on the youtube. You have described all the features in a way you made me decide that the 47mm is for my size wrist. I also have the Polar V3 which is the same diameter as the Fenix 7 Pro. Thanks for sharing your expirience.
One of the loveliest comments recently! Thanks for dropping by and sprinkling such nice words 👊🏽 Merry Christmas and hope you enjoy your festive adventures with whichever watch you’re rocking at the moment 🔥🌟
Thanks for sharing. Coming from Samsung watch I find it a chore to press a few buttons for missed notifications in the Garmins. They should learn from Samsung by having a colored dot at the 9 o'clock position for user to swipe left or right to see all missed notifications.
Thanks for the comment! It’s always tough going from one platform to another. I’ve just began testing a polar watch and I’m struggling with the interface because it’s all soo different haha. The saving Grace is that there’s a lot of customisation on the Garmin so maybe you could set up a hot key for your notifications which would then be even quicker to access than Samsung 👍🏽
@@aaronmennitto9128 haha, love that! Welsh pronunciation isn’t one of my strong points 🤣 Thanks for the comment Aaron 👊🏽 Hope you have the best adventures with the 7X! 🔥
0:25 Wow looks like they have sped up the UI a bit. I remember the Garmin Enduro 2 that I had was super slow and laggy and the compass was not that fast for sure. Looks a lot smoother now.
Yeah! I do love the UI on Garmin.. feels weird having such a smooth MIP screen 🤣 I have zero complaints with the new Garmin’s apart from gps issues which seems pretty common the more I research it
Thanks for the awesome and detailed video!! I bought mine from japan but having trouble updating the maps. Maybe a video of how to update or download maps ? ? That would be very helpful:)
Legend! Cheers 🌟 Watch this space ❤️ Are you trying to do it over the app or connecting the watch to the computer and using Garmin Express (I recommend doing it this way)
Thanks for dropping a comment! 🙏🏽 Super appreciate it! 🌟 The 7X is such a great watch 🔥 I can’t wait for a good deal on it! I guess you just get used to the size, I eventually got used to the Enduro 2 but it was definitely not as comfortable as this 7 Pro.. even with the UltraFit band .. i did miss the battery life though. It’s night and day, the 7 🪫 vs 7X 🔋
Thinking about the Fenix 7, 965, and 955. I do multi day backpacking, so leaning towards the MIPs displays. For the price, the 955 seems a bit more reasonably priced over the Fenix 7. Thoughts?
Hey Phill! The 955 is a fantastic watch (now it’s had bug fixes etc) and definitely worth it if you can find it for a good deal. I’d look for prices less than £400/$480 (for the solar version) as a ballpark figure. The 965 feels like a luxury to use but maybe not best suited for multi-day backpacking. Quite honestly for that activity I’d suggest the Fenix 7X Solar Sapphire or the Enduro 2 off a second hand market site 👍🏽 The flashlight, battery life and features are a hiking game changer on those watches. Hope that helps mate 🌟
If you have the money i would recommend going for the fenix 7. With black Friday deals coming up I would recommend checking if you cant find a good sale where the fenix 7 can cost almost the same as the 955. with regards to the MIP, for battery life with multiday hikes I would recommend using a MIP it just last longer.
Good Morning congratulations on the wonderful video I would like to ask Can I answer a voice call with the watch without my mobile phone being too close ??
Thanks for putting out this video! I like the ability to multitask by long-pressing the back button during an activity. Do you know if this works for the Forerunner 955 as well?
In terms of the multi-tasking “cards” like what you get on an iPhone.. I’m honestly not quite sure, Garmin has weird limitations on its software support. I do know that you definitely can go back to the home screen on the 955 using the same button during an activity and access anything on the watch which is just as good. 🌟 i believe this will require you to set that button as a hot key which takes you back to the hone screen if that makes sense lol. Hope that helped 👊🏽
Another awesome video! I wish I would have found your channel sooner! Out of all the other watches with navigation and maps which one do you like the best? I’ve been looking at Garmin, Suunto and coros. Also out of those 3, which eco system do you like?
Its a pleasure to have you on board Anthony! Corr, I’m abit greedy, if using the navigation I’m usually heading out with two watches (one as a backup incase the other fails). For example during the spine race I used both the Garmin & Coros. Or for hiking Pen Y Fan in wales with Mikaela I used the Suunto & Garmin 👍🏽 Garmin = Navigation features such as being able to click the map and be directed to your destination with turn by turn navigation (no phone needed) 🤯 Suunto - The most accurate of the bunch for pin point movements in the mountains felt safe and trustworthy. Only friction wit the maps is you actually have to spend ages downloading them in the first place with good Wi-Fi Coros - The dark horse. On the spine race I messed up the Suunto maps download and the Garmin failed to hold gps acquisition. I was left with the Vertix 2 navigation and it is a major reason that I finished that 268 mile race without getting lost. (Still had 36% battery life after 6 days of using it) 🤯. For me it depends how tech savvy you are (do you want to spend ages downloading maps), how much accuracy you need (are you trailing mountains) and how much GPS reliability you need. Ecosystems.. I’m comfortable with Garmin (used it for over a decade). But I LOVE the Suunto app, it’s fantastic. Coros is nor here nor there 👍🏽 Hope that helps bud 👊🏽
@@ActiveIdeas thanks for all the great info! Sounds like it’s between the Suunto and the Garmin. I do gym training and trail walking/hiking. The trails are mostly wooded and some mountains. If you had to choose between the suunto vertical, race or the Garmin which would you prefer? I don’t mind downloading maps. I’m just trying to figure out which one is best for the money and usability.
@anthonyrampino7734 that’s a tough one, the Suunto race is a bargain, I’d definitely choose that on a budget. It’s been so fun to test and is unbelievably good for the price. But if I had all the money to splurge and was buying tomorrow.. I’d also love to try the Epix Pro Gen 2 51mm edition. Hope that helps 💰🤷🏽♂️💰💰
Ahh man, you had to add that didn’t you 🤣 you want comfort AND maps… choose between the Suunto Race and this Fenix 7 pro.. whichever one you buy you’ll be happy. Whilst the 7 Pro is almost twice as expensive it makes up for it with its heart rate sensor, flashlight and comfort. Either watch you get make sure to get a nylon strap. If you’re still undecided you might just have to wait for my Suunto Race video coming next week 🤣😉
Thumbs up, good video. I'd go for the 42mm myself, puny wrists unfortunately. I'm very much partial to MIP displays in sports watches but it's hard to deny that with Amoled comes much better resolution for maps. Any thoughts on the Epix and/or any chance you could make a comparison video?
Hey Rob! Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment 🔥 The 42mm is super comfortable tbf.. i really enjoyed testing the Fenix 7s Solar sapphire model.. the smaller 7s Pro with the flashlight is the coolest little gadget. You genuinely forget you’re wearing it. Yeah the maps look better on the Amoled however during the day in bright sunlight there really isn’t much difference and both are pleasant to use even for extreme navigation situations. Amoled is better in those darker/indoor environments 👍🏽 I buy all my watches (they’re not provided by Garmin) so I can’t guarantee when I’ll have the Epix but it is next on my list to review so shouldn’t be long 👊🏽
I never felt the LED get hot. You hit the nail on the head about battery life.. the Garmin will drain quite quickly in brighter LED modes 👍🏽 the lowest LED mode is plenty bright enough, will last days if left on if my memory serves me correctly and definitely won’t warm up. For those brighter modes, I think the watch’s battery would die before you’d run into any overheating issues.. also bear in mind you’d probably be using this outside moving with lots of ventilation.. hot LEDs is a very non-issue basically 👍🏽 Hope this helps 💫
Hi, I have been looking for a good smart watch for some time. I am not a runner, but I do spend a lot of time walking, backpacking, bushcraft and mountain plus tracking in Spain, my wife is Spanish. I also work in a mix of outdoor, support projects. I want to keep a close check on my health.
Sounds like a great watch for your use case and hopefully it helps you keep track of your health mate. Very lucky to have in-law family in Spain, I bet the trails are stunning out there ❤️
Race video is coming this week! I didn’t want to rush a video out so that I can actually test out all the new features.. still waiting for my HRV balance to calibrate. Spoiler: I’m loving this watch!! 🔥
@@ActiveIdeas Fenix 8? It's gotta have the next generation hear rate sensor that they are putting in all of the other devices. I'd like the flashlight that the other watches are getting as well. I'd like to see the solar panel be more effective. One thing that I don't understand is why the Fenix can not automatically start an activity. My wife's $200 Vivoactive 4 does this. The Fenix? It creates a "Move IQ" event. It shows up in my daily summary, but doesn't count as an official activity. I would like more memory onboard- enough to be able to have the North America maps as well as those for Germany on the watch at the same time. (Or maybe just more control over which regions are on the watch- splitting NA into smaller portions or likewise with those for Europe.)
@@ActiveIdeas Honestly, a data connection on the watch doesn't really appeal to me. I ALWAYS have my phone with me, so the watch having it's own data connection is redundant and a battery drain. AND, for the times when I'm where there is no cell phone service, I enjoy the relief from constant notifications!
Thanks for the comment mate! The watch face is exactly the stock watch face it comes with in factory settings but the only difference is I’ve gone into “customise watch face” and turned the background colour from black to white. I feel this helps with visibility 🔥Hope this helps 👊🏽
I agree, I’ve also got a video on the 7s .. you’ll see how tiny it looks on my wrist. 🤣 I keep saying in my videos as I want the message to get through to Garmin but I feel like a 45mm watch IS the ultimate size for most many and woman offering a middle ground in terms of battery life 🔥I have a good feeling about the New Garmin Enduro 3’s 🙈
Great video, thinking about buying the Fenix 7 pro, question regarding saved locations, are saved locations "icons" always visible on the map during an activity, or do I have to choose "navigate to" in order to see them?
What a great question mate! I remember from filming my forerunner 965 navigation video that the saved locations icon DO stay visible on the which is cool! Check out that video for an in-depth Garmin maps video 🌟🙏🏽
@@ActiveIdeas thanks, Il do that, the 965 looks nice, was looking at it, but not sure if the battery will last during a full days hike, with navigation and lots of looking at the map:) using a Suunto vertical atm, but it's hurting me, like the vertix 2 did for you😂 but I really like the fact that with Suunto I can see my poi/saved locations on the map, handy if I want to do a detour, without having to go in to menus and route to it in order to se then:)
Did you end up switching to Garmin? If you still have the Suunto Vertical it might be worth checking out the nylon bands I used in my videos... it made the Vertical way more comfortable for me 🌟
Honestly, there wasn’t much difference in the weight 🤯 Infact you 7 might have been even more comfortable than the 7S pro due to being less top heavy! Also the 7 47mm has better battery life. Hope this helps ❤️
Man! I wish I got a chance to test the Instinct 2X! There are some great deals on that watch atm so I might grab one 😍 I would DEFINITELY grab a Fenix 7 pro for $600 bill, that’s a bargain 👍🏽
Hello! I am running a 100km race in January. I've never had a smartwatch, but now that I am getting into these sports, I find my self in need of a good sports watch. I don't know much about smart watches. All I know is I prefer the fenix over all other options as far as all of your videos and other people's reviews on them. My question is, is it still worth the costly investment? Is the Fenix 8 coming out anytime soon?? Thanks!!
Oh wicked, what 100km you doing if you don’t mind me asking!? Hope it goes well mate! Yeah, it definitely pays off having a god watch.. if you’re already doing 100k’s you’ll make good use of one ⌚️ Yeah, te Fenix is a good way to go. I wouldn’t wait for the Fenix 8, whilst it’s possible we’ll see one next year.. based on their recent release cycles I would say it’s highly unlikely. Best deal you can get right now is the Fenix 7X Solar Saphhire on a blac Friday deal. If you can get that watch for £500 (I’ve seen this price multiple times) then I’d say go for it 😍🔥 All the best, Kingsley
Good luck with the Bandera 100K 😍 it’s a western states qualifier.. are you looking to podium? 😉 For me, I’d rather just spend the extra money and get the pro or not have a Fenix at all 🙈 there are some good deals out at the moment and that flashlight really is too good to pass up 🔥
Hey! This in the 47mm is very comfortable but tbh so is the Enduro 3! They’ve made some massive weight savings on the Enduro and you can feel it! The accuracy of gps is a million times better on gps and you get the luxury of INSANE battery life 🔥 Hope this helps
Great review 😊 Ive just bought a 7 Pro Sapphire Solar, titanium with chestnut band, probably slightly wasted on me, but Ive been running and walking with the dog each day, and trying to loose weight, Ive not been impressed with the accuracy and battery life of my current watch. These really do look fantastic, I love the thought of not having to charge it constantly, and keeping a better track of my fitness. how do you find it to wear at nigt?
Welcome to the Garmin club! I’m very jealous of the Chestnut band, always wanted to try that, looks great! 🔥 I found sleeping in the Fenix 7 Pro super comfortable, it’s up there with the most comfortable adventure watches to sleep in.. I did pair it with a nylon strap though which I find is a game changer for wearing at night and for dialling in the fit during workouts for more accurate heart rate
@@ActiveIdeas Thank you 🙂 Hopefully it should be dispatched today hopefully. So tomorrow evening will be spent having a play, I do like the look of the band, but I may use the silicone one when running, as I do wonder how the leather will look if it gets sweat on. Your band looks great I think, and looks comfortable. That's great to hear with regards being comfortable at night as well, I would like to track my sleep as well.
Yeah save that leather band for nice occasions, the leather will age quickly if treated like silicone bands 👊🏽 Yess, highly recommend the nylon strap, makes the watch super lightweight. It’s definitely worth tracking your sleep to get all of your sleep, HRV, body battery and stress data 🔥 Makes all the recovery metrics more accurate 🌟
@@ActiveIdeas Definitely, would be nice to keep it looking good! Will definitely look to getting the nylon strap I think. It will be great to get all the data from it. I have a Withings Scan watch 2 at the moment, I've never been pleased with the accuracy of the results from it.
Great watch enjoyed the Fenix 7 a lot but as im now nearly 45 amoled is the way to go for me to be honest 😅 so i got an Epix and its great yeah miss the battery life of the Fenix but well thats the price you have to pay getting old
Oh man! Not looking forward to this 🤣 Although, terrifyingly, won’t be long until everybody is walking Tesla’s neuralink and MIP vs Amoled screens will be a thing of the past 🤭 I have this weird gut feeling (plus some of the rumours I’ve read on the 5Krunner blog) that Garmin are going to release a new Enduro 3 or Epix Gen 3 extremely soon. I have my fingers crossed 🤞🏽
Mine is 16.5cm.. my advice would definitely be to go for the 51mm if you want it to “look” right.. but 47mm will still look okay if you want a lighter watch 🔥👊🏽
Yes and no… The new Fenix/Epix Pro do have more detail than all other Garmin watches due to its weather overlays and “shaded relief” which makes seeing hills and gradients much easier. However if you’re not in mountainous terrain and don’t care about weather overlays then you won’t notice a difference 🌟
Personally I would yes. But this did cost much more (nearly three times the price) and the gps performed better on Coros in my testing when it really mattered ⛰️📍
Good morning everyone, a question: when navigating on a loaded GPX track, is it possible to "lock the map" to follow the direction to follow? , every time we stop the map continues to rotate slightly, perhaps to update our position.. and it's not very clear where you need to go, where the route to follow is. Thank you
I believe locking map orientation is possible actually. The map has locking features and you can also lock it to only point north rather than rotating all the time and wasting battery. That being said I have ALSO experienced the compass & GPS failing on Garmin like this. Usually it’s when I’m in bad weather/environment conditions.. not evening turning on multi-band works (and then you lose more battery too). This is a big reason why I’ve started ALWAYS taking either a Suunto or a Coros when doing navigation where safety is vital. All the best Jason ❤️
@@ActiveIdeas My friend you were very kind and also very helpful, thank you, I will try your advice immediately. I can confirm from now on that I too have found a GPS of this model that is still not up to the brand name and is not always accurate! Thank you !
I’ve had people question me when I say it, and I can’t believe other reviewers haven’t ran into this same gps/compass issue yet.. seems far too common for it just to be a few models .. hope you get it sorted mate. Always here to help 🤣
Hey man, would mind sharing your opinion ?Between Suunto vertical , Garmin forerunner 965 and Garmin Fenix 7 pro which one would you say is the best ? Mainly going to be used for skiing and running! Thank you in advance
The 965 is an excellent watch but I did have the screen (it slightly protrudes) scratched up after 2 weeks of light use. I don’t think its durability will survive skiing. I’ve used Suunto for skiing in Les Arcs and loved the experience. It dealt with being out in -16°C plus the sauna and steam rooms after ⛷️🧖🏽I bashed it about on all surfaces and it still looks brand new and never glitched out. Altimeter worked flawlessly and it was nice to check in with my spo2. Lots of winter sport profiles. I haven’t used Garmin for Skiing but from the review videos I’ve watched it always looked great for this activity. From my personal usage I know the durability isn’t as rugged as the Suunto but it’s good enough and the screen is bullet proof. The heart rate sensor is much better on Garmin, you get ski maps and lots of winter sport activities. The only catch is the price. I would say go Fenix 7 pro 👍🏽 but if you want to save some money.. (and you mentioned the amoled 965) maybe consider the Suunto Race for skiing and running Hope that helps 🌟
thank you very much for sharing your experience so analytically, it really helps. I think you made me lean towards Suunto a little more for some reason! The built quality looks more rugged and I think I’m gonna go for the vertical due to the fact that is being build in Finland. Also Les Arcs sounds like a dream 💭 All the best mate .
Les Arcs really was a dream, maybe I just had my honeymoon goggles on because it was my first time skiing.. but I don’t know how you can top a resort like that, especially for groups with a mixed range of abilities 🌟 All the best with your adventures, glad I could help and hope you’re enjoying the Vertical 🔥
I've come across a lot of button issues online on the fenix from 7 up to the most recent 7pro models, the buttons or a button stops working. Especially after being in the ocean. Even months later. And for me I spend a lot of time in the ocean. Not sure if I want the thought of it happening in the back of my head all the time. Lol
The benefit you genuinely do have with Garmin is fantastic customer service; but your concerns are legitimate. If I was super-super worried about this and had a similar lifestyle I would get a Fenix 7X pro and swim with it in the ocean every day and maybe after about a year and a half I would contact Garmin and say I had issues with the buttons (tbf I have had a lot of Garmin’s buttons go “mushy” or weird) so by then cracks could be starting to show. They’ll either repair or replace (no questions asked, free of charge).. then I’d sell the brand new replacement and get a Fenix 8 which will probably be out by then 🙈 Just to put your mind at ease though.. I was actually impressed with 7 Pro buttons, I showered with it on every day (exposing it to lots of chemicals). No issues really. BUT if you’re looking for the best buttons in the business.. look no further than the Suunto Vertical. It’s a whole other level of durability and build quality. And if you don’t need maps.. you’re even luckier, you can try the Suunto 9 Peak Pro.. built like a tank. I’ve taken it skiing -16°c for 10 days.. ice bathed daily since November, hot showered (40°C), ocean plunged and hopped in the Sauna with this thing. It still looks and feels brand new. Buttons are smooth and clicky 😄 We’re over a year of testing now 🤯 You don’t get that silky smooth software of Garmin but you get a bulletproof device 👌🏽 But yeah, hope this helped mate, any questions just ask 👊🏽🔥
Honestly… not much. The pro has a slightly better HR sensor and all “pro” models come with the multi-band SATiq GPS capabilities. But tbh you can get a “solar sapphire” Fenix 7 and get 99% of the features of the Pro model. Sorry that’s super confusing.. but you have the thumbs up from me to get the non-pro version and save some money ❤️
Every body is different. I do have intrinsic motivation but I’m also goal orientated.. having lots of stats makes it easier for me as an athlete to set goals and work towards them. I’ll add.. the more data the better because maybe one week you work on cadence, the next week: endurance score.. and the week after: vo2max.. lots of flexibility to stop training getting boring ❤️
I'm in 2 minds of buying the fenix 7 pro sapphire since or the coros pace pro. Has anyone used both and give advice which is better? The fenix 7 pro is on offer and only £120 dearer atm.
That’s the dream watch! Some great deals on the 7X pro already.. Black Friday coming at the end of the month too 👍🏽 Isn’t the Fenix 3 indestructible!? 🤣 Ahh, yeah, cycle computer first.. running watch second 😉
what are the differences between the pro and regular versions? Is it worth buying the fenix 7 for someone who just needs an everyday watch? I'm currently using apple watch 5
Hey Kamil, thanks for dropping by! They are very similar.. get the pro if you want the new heart rate sensor (amazing HR accuracy), if you need the flashlight and if you can find a good price on it .. shouldn’t be too bad with Black Friday deals (amzn.to/40Qh9QQ FTC in description). Definitely a massive upgrade from Apple Watch 5.
Bloody bargain that, and it’s nice to spread the cost a little 🙈 Welcome to the Fenix 7 club 🔥 if you have any questions with set up feel free to drop them here and I’ll get straight back to ya 👊🏽
fenix 7 standard is 50% cheaper in Europe and that's a big difference for me. I can buy fenix 7 for 429e and epix 2gen for 480e. what would you choose in this case?
Hey mate! You have to go by your own use case. I think I definitely WOULD buy a Fenix 7X solar sapphire to save money because it still comes with the flashlight. But the flashlight is a deal breaker so if I wanted a 42mm or 47mm watch (or Epix) I would have to buy the Pro. It’s a lot of money but I used the flashlight multiple times every day
Fenix 7 best deal if you like MIP display , If you spend more time indoor , amoled is better . I bought my f7 on black friday for 399€ in germany OTTO shop ( standard 16gb version ) If you are not proffesional olympic athlete , or outdoor fanatic , you dont need pro version, standard F7 offers you exactly the same , that flashligt is not worth pay 300+ , I have flashlight in phone , or can buy head lamp for 10€ or any other 10x stronger light . I had a fenix 5 plus for 6 years, and if they hadn't died I would still have them.
@@MattiasPersson yes they have ecg , but tbh , do you have any heart medical issues ? Do you know read ecg graph ? I had it in apple watch , galaxy watch , and I used it once on both watches .
With this you’ll get a brighter flashlight, better heart rate (it’s unbelievably good), and ECG 👍🏽 depends if those things matter to you… also probably much better battery life (this is a MIP screen) how that helps 🌟
@@ActiveIdeas I understand. That’s why I’m having a hard time deciding between Suunto and Garmin. Are you still making a video on the updates for the Suunto Race?
It’s filmed and edited I just haven’t got round to the thumbnail. Yeah, I get it. Honestly don’t think you’d be disappointed with either.. between them two it really comes down to price .. could got the Race, Wing headphones AND a heart rate strap and still come in under some of the Epix range 💰
I’m supposed to be a reviewer and even I’m confused haha 🤣 The newer “pro” versions will ALL come with an updated heart rate sensor (it’s really good and capable of ECG). ALL Pro models also come with the multi-band gps and SatIQ. They also both get the updated flashlight which is supposed to be brighter than in the previous 7X model.. as far as I’m aware the only difference between the 51mm 7X Pro and the 47mm 7 pro is the size, weight and battery life. Nothing else. The difference between the 47mm 7 Pro vs the 51mm 7X (non-pro) is a different story 🔥 Anyways, hope this helps, it’s a minefield out here 😅🤣
@@ActiveIdeas Thanks a lot for the reply ! Love from India, i have been planning on buying my first garmin and I am watching every UA-cam channel and lot, hope i ended up in the right place and it feels so good to talk to a garmin user so close, much helpful thank you so much mate. Focus on the minefield now 😂. Again thanks for the detailed difference not everyone does means a lot.
@Aries-qs8mc An absolute pleasure mate! Lots of love from England UK, I hope to visit one day! You’re in for a treat if this is going to be your first Garmin. Sounds like you have some big adventures & dreams in the works. I wish you all the best with it 🔥🌟
@@ActiveIdeas thanks you sound so positive, do visit south India its called Kerala there are many places for trail running and cycling terrains out here.
is this normal that on my mapping of my fenix 7 pro from Garmin I have full of missing roads so I had to install another mapping to get the villages and missing roads
I also found this when I went on holiday to Barbados.. 99% of roads and mapping information was missing. Unfortunately with Garmin I think you have to pay for their premium maps for more detail. Alternatively there’s a guy called “TalkyTosster”. It’s the Garmin community’s best kept secret. He sell maps for cheap (like $15) with better maps than what Garmin give you for free. Some say better than their premium maps too. Hope I helped. And don’t share our “TalkyToaster” secret 😉
@9daniele964 oh WOW, this is going to be a MASSIVE upgrade for you mate! Please let me know how it goes, particularly interested in hearing how you find the change in weight 😝
You absolute legend, thanks for the comment. You’re going to love the Fenix 7 Pro, good luck with your adventures! You’ll need to download the ConnectIQ app by Garmin and type in “Retro” .. scroll through the results and you’ll see this sick watch face.. the good news is that it’s free too! 🌟
Navigation does need cellular service. Because it’s needs wifi that’s supplied by your phone via Bluetooth so if your phone has no service than the watch can’t access maps
This is completely incorrect :) Garmin, Coros, Suunto and now Polar all offer offline maps. No bluetooth or WiFi is needed. You can leave your phone at home. Garmin take it a whole new level and offer all of its navigation features OFFLINE.. it’s insane really? Fair play to them. Thanks for the comment ❤️
Sorry for the poor audio quality! We’ve just bought a mic do that’ll be improving shortly .. the Coros Vertix 2 as much as I loved it., the weight and design made me bleed twice just from wearing it 🙈 cheers for the comment mate 🌟
I can’t wait to test the Epix. I did the Spine Race 268 mile ultra marathon which was the main reason for going Fenix 7 over Epix.. and even then I ran out of battery life 😬🤣
I don't believe that is a Garmin band, I wish they made amazing buckle less straps like Apple. Are you comfortable wearing an off brand watch strap with such an expensive watch ?
It’s genuinely one of the best watch strains I’ve EVER used.. and I’ve tested a large amount of straps in my time 🤣 price, comfort, ease of use, weight, design, durability.. ticks all the boxes ☑️ 🔥🌟
10. reasons not to buy it... 1. You do not have an AMOLED screen, so your screen is less bright and colorful. 2. quite thick watch. 3. Other Garmin bands are very pricey. 4. Non standard sapphire glass. 5. Garmin pay behhhh. 6. MIP screen still dim compared to AMOLED. 7. Expensive, even for the 42mm 7S Pro. 8. No LTE (4/5G) 9. Slow and laggy software. 10. No call function and less botification options..
Hahaha, all very true. It’s good that us consumers have options ❤️ Last year I took this watch to the spine race and had to charge it about 6 times. And that was with a MIP screen. If I took an amoled screen watch to the 268 mile spine race I’d probably have to charge the darn thing about 20 times… so you can see why features completely depend on the user.. I’d consider anyone who prefers AMOLED, not a heavy user 🤣 Or just doesn’t care about excessive charging frequencies. Also, though AMOLED is better indoors and in dark environments.. the MIP screen is actually more readable in direct sunlight. AMOLED is barely visible when the sun is at its highest, it can’t get bright enough. Yeah no LTE sucks :( And yeah I agree, WELL TOO expensive 🤣 Oh btw.. according to “The5KRunner” the “Garmin Fenix E & Fenix 8” is coming out next month 🙈
Why would you want a flashlight on a watch??! Your watch is to see the time, direction or altitude. Do you want to look at your feet? Absolutely not. If you need a torch you will have one in your rucksack. A torch on a watch is ridiculous.
It heavily depends on the user. I ran the spine race last year which is a 268 mile ultra.. the flashlight was a game changer. For searching through kit bags at checkpoints, using the torch when changing headtorch batteries, and to add more light to the trail when you’re on super technical terrain (this plus a headtorch is great), lastly for safety to further alert people/drivers of your whereabouts. This flashlight is brighter than what your phone is and can be used to run on trails. It’s a great backup for when kit fails. And if you head out for a run where the last 10 minutes might be dark. And then just day to day lifestyle situations like going to the toilet at night.. I could go on but it does seem 99% of reviews on UA-cam are people saying how shocked they are at how useful the flashlight had become in their day to day life 👊🏽 Hope this helps 🔥
Sorry but a watch on my wrist is absolutely practical. I could name you probably 50+ reasons why I find it useful. Either for my work, hobbies, personal life, expeditions, activities or workouts.
You’ve been absolutely spoiled by your wife 🌟 Also, welcome to the Garmin club 👊🏽 Talk about that for luck 🤣
Glad this video helped you learn some real-world tips and tricks and wish you the best with your adventures. Cheers again mate and all the best 🍻
Great review! Out of all Garmin 6 and 7 reviews, the first one who mentioned one of the true features, this watch is completely phone independent.
Thanks for the kind words Alex!! Plenty more awesome videos in the pipeline too 🙈 Do you reckon you’ll get the Fenix 7?
I really enjoyed your review. I liked your enthusiasm for the what the watch could do. Have recently ordered so looking forward to trying it out myself
Thanks for the comment one perspective! I hope you have the most amazing adventures with it! 👊🏽🔥
@@ActiveIdeas Thanks man! Happy 2024! Come run in the States too!
Looking to do a 200 mile event in the states.. haven’t decided which one yet 🌟
Where did you get it for that price? :-)
@@tobias_dahlberg Ah fair! Bad luck and hope you get it next time :-)
how’s the battery life on your Fenix7s? I’m also considering one
Thanks hopefully I will. Have recently retired and will be using mostly for the health statistics. Will be an upgrade from an instinct 2 solar which I have really enjoyed over the last couple of years. I agree with you about the HRV being a useful metric. Enjoy your activities with your garmin 👍
@@oneperspective all the best mate 👊🏽🔥
You make some really good points about Garmin vs Apple and the Android/Ios compatibility 🔥
I’m so excited to see what else Garmin does this year, bring it on 🫢 Thanks for like and subscribing 👊🏽🔥
Just recieved a refurbished fenix 7 solar sapphire, thumbs up perfect watch
Dayum, did they upgrade you from an older Fenix? It is rather perfect 🔥 What should they do for the Fenix 8?

An absolute pleasure! So jealous you’re using the Epix Pro! Can’t wait to try those models.. definitely seems like they nailed it 🔥
@@ActiveIdeas I opted for fenix 7x pro instead of the epix - the amoled is a draw for sure, but I'm coming from a 5x plus - so the upgrades on the fenix were very satisfactory to me - besides, I got a 20% disc for OOW trade - so 740 US after tax with discount. I'm happy - coming tomorrow!

it is one of the most detailed and on the spot review on the youtube.

0:25 Wow looks like they have sped up the UI a bit. I remember the Garmin Enduro 2 that I had was super slow and laggy and the compass was not that fast for sure. Looks a lot smoother now.
Yeah! I do love the UI on Garmin.. feels weird having such a smooth MIP screen 🤣 I have zero complaints with the new Garmin’s apart from gps issues which seems pretty common the more I research it
Solid perspective based on real world use.

Thanks for the awesome and detailed video!! I bought mine from japan but having trouble updating the maps. Maybe a video of how to update or download maps ? ? That would be very helpful:)
Legend! Cheers 🌟 Watch this space ❤️ Are you trying to do it over the app or connecting the watch to the computer and using Garmin Express (I recommend doing it this way)
Good video. I have the 7X and personally never felt it's too big once you get it on a nylon strap and my wrists about the same as yours.
🔥🔥 the jury has spoken
Good Morning congratulations on the wonderful video I would like to ask Can I answer a voice call with the watch without my mobile phone being too close ??
Unfortunately this watch doesn’t have a speaker and microphone.. for this feature check out my latest video on the Garmin Fenix 8 ❤️🙈
Thanks mate. This is very useful as I cant justify Fenix 8 near 1000Quid price.
Safe yourself the money! It’s not worth it (check out my Fenix 8 Watch BEFORE you buy video). You won’t regret the Fenix 7 Pro
Banger piece of kit.
Agreed 👊🏽🔥
Nice review best one I’ve seen thanks
Means the world ❤️
Another awesome video!
Or for hiking Pen Y Fan in wales with Mikaela I used the Suunto & Garmin 👍🏽
Garmin = Navigation features such as being able to click the map and be directed to your destination with turn by turn navigation (no phone needed) 🤯
Suunto - The most accurate of the bunch for pin point movements in the mountains felt safe and trustworthy. Only friction wit the maps is you actually have to spend ages downloading them in the first place with good Wi-Fi
Coros - The dark horse.
Coros is nor here nor there 👍🏽
Hope that helps bud 👊🏽
@@ActiveIdeas thanks for all the great info! Sounds like it’s between the Suunto and the Garmin. I do gym training and trail walking/hiking. The trails are mostly wooded and some mountains. If you had to choose between the suunto vertical, race or the Garmin which would you prefer? I don’t mind downloading maps. I’m just trying to figure out which one is best for the money and usability.
Also one that has durability and comfort like you said about the Garmin for wearing to bed.
I've got fenix 7 pro solar sapphire and it definitely has the elevate sensor. Maybe misunderstood what he meant at 16:58..
Hope you’re enjoying it ❤️

That one was downloaded from ConnectIQ. It’s siiick! 🔥 Type “retro” into watch face search in connect IQ, then enjoy 🍻
Amoled is better in those darker/indoor environments 👍🏽
I buy all my watches (they’re not provided by Garmin) so I can’t guarantee when I’ll have the Epix but it is next on my list to review so shouldn’t be long 👊🏽

Great review!
Why thankyou mate ❤️
Does the LED get hot when turned on for a long time? Will it damage the watch? If we do not consider battery consumption
Very good review. I'll take a close look at this watch.
Thankyou Stewart! It’s a watch well worth taking a close look at.

HUH SO WAITING!@@ActiveIdeas
Yeah, the HRV takes 2 weeks lol
Yes sir! I've got the Fenix 7 Solar. It's got an incredible list of features that many other watches don't have. (Looking at you Apple Watch "Ultra")
It’s an absolute beast!! What do you think Garmin should do with the Fenix 8?
@VernL4 agree with everything you’ve said! What are your thoughts on LTE and cellular connectivity?
@@ActiveIdeas Honestly, a data connection on the watch doesn't really appeal to me. I ALWAYS have my phone with me, so the watch having it's own data connection is redundant and a battery drain. AND, for the times when I'm where there is no cell phone service, I enjoy the relief from constant notifications!
Hi! Did you know the name of the Watch Face you are currently using in your Fenix ?
Thanks for the comment mate! The watch face is exactly the stock watch face it comes with in factory settings but the only difference is I’ve gone into “customise watch face” and turned the background colour from black to white. I feel this helps with visibility 🔥Hope this helps 👊🏽
Watch looks massive on your wrist. Should have went with the S. Thanks for the video
If you still have the Suunto Vertical it might be worth checking out the nylon bands I used in my videos... it made the Vertical way more comfortable for me 🌟
Hey what is your opinion Fenix 7 pro or 7S pro ? Which is more comfortable and did you feel difference’s on wrist ?
Honestly, there wasn’t much difference in the weight 🤯 Infact you 7 might have been even more comfortable than the 7S pro due to being less top heavy! Also the 7 47mm has better battery life. Hope this helps ❤️

Yeah, te Fenix is a good way to go. I wouldn’t wait for the Fenix 8, whilst it’s possible we’ll see one next year.. based on their recent release cycles I would say it’s highly unlikely. Best deal you can get right now is the Fenix 7X Solar Saphhire on a blac Friday deal. If you can get that watch for £500 (I’ve seen this price multiple times) then I’d say go for it 😍🔥
All the best,
Kingsley
If you are are thinking of ultra running, would the 965 be a good buy, or is it worth getting the Fenix 7 pro?
@@ActiveIdeas I’m running at the Bandera 100k!
Is the Pro version of it worth the extra investment?
100% I’d the time I would suggest the Fenix 7 for ultra running when compared to the 965 🙈
Good luck with the Bandera 100K 😍 it’s a western states qualifier.. are you looking to podium? 😉
For me, I’d rather just spend the extra money and get the pro or not have a Fenix at all 🙈 there are some good deals out at the moment and that flashlight really is too good to pass up 🔥
Great informative video, thank you.
Top man Chris 👊🏽 Cheers!
GREAT REVIEW!!
THANKS MIKE 🔥🌟
Should i get this or enduro 3? Gonna buy my first garmin
Hey! This in the 47mm is very comfortable but tbh so is the Enduro 3! They’ve made some massive weight savings on the Enduro and you can feel it! The accuracy of gps is a million times better on gps and you get the luxury of INSANE battery life 🔥 Hope this helps
@@ActiveIdeas so you reckon id go with the enduro 3 rather than the 7x pro
@janzedrickfabila4839 1110% yes mate!
@@ActiveIdeas Why the GPS is better? It's not the same?
@piczoo you are going to LOVE this massive step up to the Fenix 7 Pro mate, let me know how you get on
Great watch enjoyed the Fenix 7 a lot but as im now nearly 45 amoled is the way to go for me to be honest 😅 so i got an Epix and its great yeah miss the battery life of the Fenix but well thats the price you have to pay getting old
Oh man! Not looking forward to this 🤣 Although, terrifyingly, won’t be long until everybody is walking Tesla’s neuralink and MIP vs Amoled screens will be a thing of the past 🤭
I have this weird gut feeling (plus some of the rumours I’ve read on the 5Krunner blog) that Garmin are going to release a new Enduro 3 or Epix Gen 3 extremely soon. I have my fingers crossed 🤞🏽
What is you.re wrist size, mine is about 18 cm and i can.t fugure out if a 42 mm or 47 will fit me better
Mine is 16.5cm.. my advice would definitely be to go for the 51mm if you want it to “look” right.. but 47mm will still look okay if you want a lighter watch 🔥👊🏽
Cuba Gooding Jr’s son knows his shit when it comes to smart watches 😂
Hahaha! Comments like these make my day 🤣🫶🏽
Is the mapping the same for the 965? Or is the Fenix more detailed?
Yes and no… The new Fenix/Epix Pro do have more detail than all other Garmin watches due to its weather overlays and “shaded relief” which makes seeing hills and gradients much easier. However if you’re not in mountainous terrain and don’t care about weather overlays then you won’t notice a difference 🌟
Would you choose the fenix 7 pro over the Coros watches?
Personally I would yes. But this did cost much more (nearly three times the price) and the gps performed better on Coros in my testing when it really mattered ⛰️📍
Good morning everyone, a question: when navigating on a loaded GPX track, is it possible to "lock the map" to follow the direction to follow? ,
every time we stop the map continues to rotate slightly, perhaps to update our position.. and it's not very clear where you need to go, where the route to follow is. Thank you
I believe locking map orientation is possible actually.
(and you mentioned the amoled 965) maybe consider the Suunto Race for skiing and running
Hope that helps 🌟
thank you very much for sharing your experience so analytically, it really helps.
I think you made me lean towards Suunto a little more for some reason!
The built quality looks more rugged and I think I’m gonna go for the vertical due to the fact that is being build in Finland.
Also Les Arcs sounds like a dream 💭
All the best mate .
Les Arcs really was a dream, maybe I just had my honeymoon goggles on because it was my first time skiing.. but I don’t know how you can top a resort like that, especially for groups with a mixed range of abilities 🌟
All the best with your adventures, glad I could help and hope you’re enjoying the Vertical 🔥
They’ll either repair or replace (no questions asked, free of charge).. then I’d sell the brand new replacement and get a Fenix 8 which will probably be out by then 🙈
Just to put your mind at ease though.. Buttons are smooth and clicky 😄 We’re over a year of testing now 🤯 You don’t get that silky smooth software of Garmin but you get a bulletproof device 👌🏽
But yeah, hope this helped mate, any questions just ask 👊🏽🔥
@@ActiveIdeas oh ok. Yeah sweet 👍🏼
🌟
Hi, am.going to buy this watxh. Where did toy get the straps from? Cheers
Link is in description 🔥 highly recommend these nylon bands man 😍
@ActiveIdeas - just seen the Epix 2 for the same price. What are the pros to this watch in your eyes? Cheers :-)
There are no pros with the Epix other than the gorgeous display but if you lose a lot of the benefits with battery life
Let’s goooo!! 🔥
It’s go time! 💫
If you could choose between the fenix 7 pro and the Epix pro which do you prefer? Amoled or MIP?
For me it’s Fenix every time.. I struggled with battery life on the FENIX so the Epix just isn’t going to cut it for my use case ❤️
@@ActiveIdeas ok thanks
@@ActiveIdeas I just ordered the Coros vertix 2s, I’ll see how I like it.
@anthonyrampino7734 holy moly! Welcome to the 2S club 🔥 Let me know how you get on 👊🏽
@@ActiveIdeas I sure will! It was a toss up between 2s, vertical and fenix. Judging by your advice I thought I’d give the 2s a shot!
What’s the difference between the 7 and the 7 pro ??
Honestly… not much. The pro has a slightly better HR sensor and all “pro” models come with the multi-band SATiq GPS capabilities. But tbh you can get a “solar sapphire” Fenix 7 and get 99% of the features of the Pro model. Sorry that’s super confusing.. but you have the thumbs up from me to get the non-pro version and save some money ❤️
I am also owner of 7x pro sapphire metal. Great and rock solid watch. I am now thinking why I didnt buy this before :)
Welcome to the good life! 🔥😉 Us sports watch fans are blessed with some of the most amazing technology right now! And it’s only getting better :)
I am not to sure why I need all the stats does it encourage your fitness?
Every body is different. I do have intrinsic motivation but I’m also goal orientated.. having lots of stats makes it easier for me as an athlete to set goals and work towards them. I’ll add.. the more data the better because maybe one week you work on cadence, the next week: endurance score.. and the week after: vo2max.. lots of flexibility to stop training getting boring ❤️
I'm in 2 minds of buying the fenix 7 pro sapphire since or the coros pace pro. Has anyone used both and give advice which is better? The fenix 7 pro is on offer and only £120 dearer atm.
Get the Fenix 7 Pro & have zero regrets! A million reasons why 👊🏽
No worries thanks 😂
@jamieR90 pace pro is sexy, but I’d get the Fenix 7 Pro for battery, solar, flashlight, temperature sensor, training metrics and multitasking

Ahh, yeah, cycle computer first.. running watch second 😉
@@ActiveIdeas well I got the edge first but the pro will be on.
@bonn1771 fully kitted out! I need a bike before I can test an edge 🤣
what are the differences between the pro and regular versions? Is it worth buying the fenix 7 for someone who just needs an everyday watch? I'm currently using apple watch 5
Hey Kamil, thanks for dropping by! They are very similar.. get the pro if you want the new heart rate sensor (amazing HR accuracy), if you need the flashlight and if you can find a good price on it .. shouldn’t be too bad with Black Friday deals (amzn.to/40Qh9QQ FTC in description). fenix 7 standard is 50% cheaper in Europe and that's a big difference for me.
That’s a great point tbf! When you put it like that.. 300$ for torch feature.. you can buy a fantastic (some of the best on the market) headlamp
But the pro also has the hardware to support ECG right? And the new heartbeat sensor.
@@MattiasPersson yes they have ecg , but tbh , do you have any heart medical issues ? Do you know read ecg graph ? I had it in apple watch , galaxy watch , and I used it once on both watches .

Is there any difference between this and the old EPIX gen 2? Coz epix is on 60% sale!
With this you’ll get a brighter flashlight, better heart rate (it’s unbelievably good), and ECG 👍🏽 depends if those things matter to you… also probably much better battery life (this is a MIP screen) how that helps 🌟
But I already bought the epix gen 2 that was on sale 2 weeks ago what should I do now? Buy venu 3? Or maybe Apple Watch ultra2 ?@@ActiveIdeas
@@ActiveIdeas is mip better ? It got much lower resolution..

Honestly I would LOVE to! But I Currently don’t have a spare £700 unfortunately

Buy me dinner first 😅😉 16.5cm!
@@ActiveIdeas 😂 thanks for the great video!
Legend!
Is there any difference between fenix 7 pro and 7x pro or are these both products same im confused
The difference between the 47mm 7 Pro vs the 51mm 7X (non-pro) is a different story 🔥
Anyways, hope this helps, it’s a minefield out here 😅🤣

is this normal that on my mapping of my fenix 7 pro from Garmin I have full of missing roads so I had to install another mapping to get the villages and missing roads

@@ActiveIdeasI bought 955 for €440. I can still return 955. Should I buy Fenix 7 Pro, is it worth it?
What watch you rocking these days?
Navigation does need cellular service. Because it’s needs wifi that’s supplied by your phone via Bluetooth so if your phone has no service than the watch can’t access maps
This is completely incorrect :) Garmin, Coros, Suunto and now Polar all offer offline maps. No bluetooth or WiFi is needed. You can leave your phone at home. Garmin take it a whole new level and offer all of its navigation features OFFLINE.. it’s insane really? Fair play to them. Thanks for the comment ❤️

Not sure why you would choose the Fenix over the Epix.

The into Is only about 15 seconds haha. But yes.. in my new videos I have reduced this noise thankyou for the comment 👊🏽
10. reasons not to buy it...
Yeah no LTE sucks :(
And yeah I agree, WELL TOO expensive 🤣
Oh btw.. according to “The5KRunner” the “Garmin Fenix E & Fenix 8” is coming out next month 🙈
🔥 It’s a game changer
