This was the legendary hit making line up of Martha and the Vandellas..Rosalind Ashford, Betty Kelly and Martha Reeves. I wish Martha would have kept this line up going but she felt she needed to have Betty Kelly and shortly afterwords Rosalind Ashford fired from group. Rosalind Ashford had been with Martha for over 10 years when Martha had her dismissed. Needless to say Betty and Rosalind were not replaceable as evidenced by the group's lack of hits afterwards. After Martha dismissed Betty and Rosalind Martha tried to make it with cookie cutter replacements which she still uses when she does oldies tours as Martha and the Vandellas.
