@@virtuosiproducoes2591 I didn't say that she COULDN'T play that fast. Of course she can. What I said was that she simply WOULDN'T have played Mozart that fast. And I don't think that Barenboim would have conducted the intro that fast either
Very likely the tempo Mozart wanted - remember, composers like Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann always wanted their works to be played faster than what we do today - i.e. Beethoven's metronome markings in Hammerklavier, Chopin's Etudes, Schumann's Kinderszenen etc. Much faster than we play today@@virtuosiproducoes2591
two geniuses. Unfortunately, it cannot always be considered a good performance. Mozart's music is just that difficult-not just technically, but musically extremely challenging.
Martha trying to outperform her teacher Friedrich Gulda who 3 years before had played an amazing hard-rock performance of this indestructible masterpiece. But even with the help of Barenboim it does not produce the magic of Guldas play+conduct performance.
I believe this audio is fast forwarded a bit. It is hard to imagine her playing at this speed.
😍😍😍😍😍
That has GOT to have been sped up. No way would she play it like that
It's possible for her to play this fast but it's not what Mozart wrote.

Not far from her average tempo in this concerto.
