Bass Pro Shops - White River Fly Shop - Lug Sole Chest Waders - Unboxing, First Impressions & Review

My family stopped by the Bass Pro Shops just outside Knoxville, Tennessee near the Smokies Stadium. We we're looking around for some good gear to go duck hunting. We found these white river chest waders that seemed like a good value. We found an employee who was very helpful and went to the back to look for the right sizes for us and even though they didn't have it, we were able to figure out what size we would need and we ordered it online. Aside from some very helpful and patient staff we found the online shopping experience very positive as well. Went to BassPro.com found the waders and ordered them in our size. Delivery time was 5 days but it arrived in 3 which was a pleasant surprise!

Thanks for the review! My friend is getting into fly fishing, wants my advice, so reviews on entry level equipment is appreciated.
Stocking foot waders allow you to flip them inside out and when you throw them on the clothes line they dry out quickly. If you want to have a better experience while you're wearing them, then buy breathable waders.
Always wear a safety belt, otherwise waders full of water can drag you under, and the water creates a vacuum so you can not get them off.
