Nice to see one in action. Been searching for a good deal on a BCS for over a year, but they are expensive. Does the Horse let you offset the bars so you don't walk on what you just tilled but to the side instead?
Yes it does. The handles can be adjusted for height as well as angled to the left or right. The tiller works best making multiple passes, each a bit deeper than the last. Always run at full throttle, and let the tiller do the work. I have turned up virgin (Never deep plowed) while drinking a beverage, by just making more passes with increasing depth on each run.
I see your posting was 5 years ago, but anyways . . . . Keep your eyes open, you can do a Craigslist search around the entire country, sometimes good deals pop up (usually it seems several at the same time). Three years ago, I bought a 1996 Barreto 1620 for $800. Cosmetically, it looks like it fell off of truck (a few times), but mechanically it is tip-top shape. I had to drive 320 miles each way to pick it up, but even with the U-Haul, gas, and tolls added, it came out to be about $1000.
Mine is over 40 years old and runs perfect .
1975 horse 1 runs fine paid $165, I reringed it and painted it.Bought it 2005.Then got a couple of lots to garden.
Just bought a 94 horse for 500 in excelent shap.
Cant wait to dig in 😊
Thanks again.
Sure wish I had totally rock free land

I have a '72 Horse, it will tear up the ground!
Yea I hear ya, these old machines seem to really dig well !
Lifetime tiller. No need for anything else. Even old, they can always be repaired.
My dad passed this exact tiller down to me.. Trying to find a new carb for it any suggestions?
Check on Amazon, updraft carb model 390323
Please, can you tell me what year this is? Thanks.
The tiller, that is.

I can't give you a specific year, I don't own it anymore. I do know that my Uncle bought it brand new sometime in the mid 1980s
Imagine how nice that garden will be when you figure out how to quit re packing the soil when leaving your footprints behind.
Thanks for the construction criticism, but that way worked fine for me for 20 years soo 🤷🏻♂️
Sounds like it may be starving for fuel when under load.
Partially blocked jet.
People that do not know how to operate equipment should not make videos
I don’t see any videos on the subject on your channel explaining the correct way to use a tiller, so till then go troll somebody else’s channel !
