That wee building you seen at the end of the dam was the old pump house for the dam

So lovely to see a walk around the Dam!! It was a short walk from Coalsnaughton, a wee cut through the fields. A walk I did for years with my two crazy Collies 🐕
Hope the Rangers sort out the issues killing the fish, that was very sad to see.

I've just found your channel, and watched the one about Alloa. It's great to see our beautiful county through fresh eyes. I'm glad you've enjoyed your visits. The Dam was a water supply for Alloa and Sauchie. The local Countryside Rangers are investigating the dead fish issue just now.. A lot of the path maintenance and practical conservation work at the Dam is done by TCV's EPIC - Enabling Projects in Clackmannanshire- volunteers alongside the local Rangers. It's so nice to see people saying posititive things about Clackmannanshire.

Thank you for taking time to write such an informative and kind message. I ha e loved my visits and its a place I'd never spent much time. The dam is somewhere I will be back too and encourage others to enjoy a walk there too.
