How to Take Apart & Reassemble ANY 3x3 Cube (v3)

- My basic tutorial for the disassembly and assembly of practically any 3x3 Rubik's cube puzzle.

Just a quick note about the Rubik's "speed cube." There are in fact versions that exist that have screws and allow adjusting the tensions. You will know because there are two little grooves in the center caps that allow you to pry them off. However, the version I showed is far more common, and only has rivets underneath (they look like screws, but aren't).

The Porg Cuber He’s talking about the Rubik’s 2.0 from 2013, and the one with screws is the Rubik’s Speedcube. You’re thinking of the Rubik’s GAN Speedcube.

How to take apart a rubiks brand: the first method he did turn the corner and use a lot of force then start playing with the cube until all falls off obviously except the core.
Reassembling:
You put in all of the white side corners always first and always one side at a time leave one column open for the yellow side then just finish off the other sides like usual then you need to fix all yellow except for the column you left open put the corner pieces in on both sides then rotate your cube with the empty edge above a corner piece and now put the bottom ledge on the back of the piece in the socket first then extreme pressure on the top to put in the last piece

Tysm. I think i just broke my gf's rubix so that i get so frustrated finding a way to fix it and it came to my mind that i will disassemble it and clean the core and the cubeltes then assemble it again it quite work so thank youuuu.

My friend was cubing with my moyu weilong gts2m in school outside and then somebody shot a ball, I randomly kicked it and it flied to my friend so the cube fall out of his hands and fell from like 4 meters and no piece popped, but it got loosened a bit, or 1 piece fell apart into 3 smaller pieces and the cube got a bit dirty but it took us like 10 seconds to repair.

you should do the sides instead they can be taken out with your palm and its pretty easy also dont recommend puttind wd40 in it it will make it harder to turn

You’re a lifesaver my dude. We have a Rubik’s cube at work that I couldn’t solve because somebody decided to twist the corners. The only way to get it back to normal was to take it apart and put it back together again! Thanks for the help.

You saved me today. I bought a Rubik's cube for my son's friend and then offered to adjust the tension for him. I took all the centre caps not realising they had a specific place (oops).
So I followed a guide on how to put them in the right place and this seemed to work, It matched the product photo and instructions image. But all apps I tried said it was unsolvable. I was a bit scared to take it apart but this video made it very clear. Thank you. You made a grown man very relieved and a young lad very happy.

If a corner gets twisted, most of the time you can just twist it back without taking apart the cube.

Taking it apart it requires some good force obviously don't just take on it but also don't be afraid to put to much force on the cube

I was solving one of my old cubes that I had, and I found a parity, on a 3x3, and on top of that one pair of corner were swapped. This video helped me a lot and I was able to fix the cube!

I somehow while turning my speedcube (Jperm 3 by 3), I accidently popped out my edge piece, I put it back in, because I seen videos how to do it, but when I was solving it, the piece that I put in was flipped, and I did not know how to take it out. Thanks so much

A few months ago, my little brother threw my original Rubix's Cube at a wall and the cap for the green side fell off and one side felt looser to turn.
There was 4 clips to hold it together but 1 of them broke so whenever I drop it on a hard surface the green cap falls off so i dropped it(on purpose) to get to the screw.
I had no luck with the other screws but I have loosened the green cap screw and some sides feel a lot smoother but it definitely feels much smoother overall.

I don't really take apart my cube,when it's dirty I just open the corners a little bit and wipe them with a little cloth
My cube was broken so I used this video to fix it and when I finished I used the cube and it went apart again
