0:27 🌶 Basic: If you’re just starting out, you’ll need to understand these finger tricks to do simple yet fast cubing turns. 6:24 🌶🌶 Intermediate: If you want to get fast at cubing, you’ll need these finger tricks to build a strong foundation. You’ll learn techniques to avoid re-gripping and overworking. 12:35 🌶🌶🌶 Advanced: These finger tricks are pretty rare and sometimes difficult, but mastering them can make your executions more optimal. 12:48 * THIS IS OBVIOUSLY THE MIDDLE FINGER 😭
Yoooo, bro, you should make a video explaining all the algorithms for OLL and PLL along with finger tricks. That would be a really cool and useful video. Shout out from Argentina!
It is probably me being a photography nerd but maybe you should turn on focus breathing comp if you're using a native sony lens. Other than that I really liked the examples you gave and great video overall
In the beninging I had terrible finger tricks and later learnt some of these, glad this video explains different situations I would otherwise have done something inefficiently, thanks!
What would also be usefull as a complement to this video would be to explain a little bit how to analyse an algorithm and for what reason you shoud use which finger trick. For example it there are 2 (or more) R moves in the algorithm (that may be separated by U or U') you should find a solution but if you only get U...U'....U....U' you can keep it simple... Any way, a big thank you for your job on these very usefull viedos 😇
M moves could be done with the index finger pushing on the upper layer without changing much on the home grip except for what is necessary to move the central layer
If you have fat fingers, the D2 move could be done with ring and middle finger. I simply do not have enough room to use the pinky. If you have long fingers the D2 move could be done with only one ring finger (perhaps using the other one to stabilise the "landing")
@@vibhorgoel9774 My finger's length must be above the average because I also do U2 in one move with my index. To have an idea of what it looks like you can go there : ua-cam.com/video/laKDY1nqaak/v-deo.html It's a french child song about a caterpillar called Camille ;-)
15:50 I do this dot case like so: index lefty S', R, pinch U, R', RING righty S, U', R', F, R and a THUMB F' (dude istg thumb f' sledge made my life way easier)
Great video! Keep up the work, already know all this but still really helpful for beginners who are aiming to get faster. Maybe do some tutorials for other cubes like 2x2, 4x4, pyraminx, etc. (Personal opinion only)
fingertricks are like proper typing on keyboards. I've been doing it my way for so long that I either just happen do to it correctly or will probably never learn to because I keep going back to what I know if I don't actively think about doing it "properly".
@@bernard_trainor I just avoid them, none of my LL algs use them, and during F2L you should never use them. Only during cross I would execute them either like D or U moves (depending on how I hold the cube)
getting to that really soon! Finger tricks are kinda fundamental for whatever level you are, so I had to make this one first. Next vid will be F2L in FR slot (but explained way better and easier than anywhere else imo)
I saw my friend do U2 so fast, and i asked him how, he said index+middle. When i tried it, it was slow, then we compared our hands and mine were tiny racoon-like 😭 🦝

You're really amazing you're amazing videos are amazing I love your videos 👍👌Keep going, it's unbelievable!

You can watch a UA-camr named Jperm. Jperm already made a video about it with fingertricks.
Your tutorials are absolutely phenominal dude. Yours and J perm's are the only ones I can actualy follow.
For the T perm and the Jb perm, I grab the upper right corner with two fingers, and that gives me an insane turning speed at the start.
13:07 I was in contortions listening along until I looked again and *THATS NOT YOUR RING FINGER* 😮😂
I was in utter disbelief when he said that.
Even the in-video text days ring finger.
It was a disaster dodged.
7:02 "in the beninging"
-a wise man
Super easy Rotationless Aa perm :wide t perm which is rUr’U’r’Fr2U’r’U’rUr’F’
Works so well better than regular❤🎉
@@invalidred wow so good
hold headlights on left
But J perm said it's not good
Don't do this. You can execute both fast but wide T perm is 14 moves while the recommended A-perms are only 9 moves so A perms will be mostly faster.
Bedankt man, erg behulpzaam, (ik denk dat ik in mijn broek heb gepoept)
greetings from Germany
When are you going to make a full CFOP tutorial?
Thank you Milan for your invaluable help in the cubing community. I'm not a subscriber but the work you're doing is great.
Just subscribe. It's free.
The yoooo is still missing 😭😭 you promised me years ago you would say it in your next video but it never happened 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
😭😭😭
😭😭😭😭
😭😭😭😭😭
😭😭😭😭
😭 😭 😭 😭
Totally need chapters for EVERY fingertrick in this tutorial...! Yoooo cubehead! Could you add them, please? 😄🙏🏻
11:33 I do it with my ring finger followed by my middle finger, idk if that's weird but it's much easier for me
Problem with that is grip of the cube, then you only have your index finger holding it :)
@@CubeHead That's true, I actually never noticed that! It hasn't caused me any problems, so I probably won't change it
@@lemonadonGD I guess, if you try to execute a perm at CubeHead's speed, cube becomes extra-unstable. It can fall with inadequate support.
I love how he mentioned the rubik's cube in the title
Maybe to catch more beginners
Or because title was too short
Or because Rubik's is "Yoooo" tier
Or because Yoooooooooooooooo
It is probably me being a photography nerd but maybe you should turn on focus breathing comp if you're using a native sony lens. Other than that I really liked the examples you gave and great video overall
Thanks for letting me know, never realised that was a thing lol
my favorite finger trick is the thumb u' for the third 'u in anti-sune
In the beninging I had terrible finger tricks and later learnt some of these, glad this video explains different situations I would otherwise have done something inefficiently, thanks!
Can you do a video about your cube collection pls .😎👍
Hey cubehead, I js got a tornado v3 but don’t know which lubes to put in it to make it faster, you got any suggestion lmk.
I put a few drops of gan lube 2 in it, works very well for me!
What would also be usefull as a complement to this video would be to explain a little bit how to analyse an algorithm and for what reason you shoud use which finger trick. He has uploaded full pll and oll videos with proper finger tricks. I hope most of us will figure it out with practice.
What cube are you using cubehead
it's a Gan 11 M pro :)
M moves could be done with the index finger pushing on the upper layer without changing much on the home grip except for what is necessary to move the central layer
THIS IS GENIUS
If you have fat fingers, the D2 move could be done with ring and middle finger. I simply do not have enough room to use the pinky.
If you have long fingers the D2 move could be done with only one ring finger (perhaps using the other one to stabilise the "landing")
They are very risky methods normally. For me, cube becomes unstable and difficult to control.
But as always, if it works out for you, go with it
@@vibhorgoel9774 My finger's length must be above the average because I also do U2 in one move with my index. To have an idea of what it looks like you can go there : ua-cam.com/video/laKDY1nqaak/v-deo.html

i do this completely differently i have a different way of fingertricking that algorithm 2:14 i basically regrip and do everything at once
how about you don’t regrip and do everything at once?
anytime i try a f turn w my thumb or index finger i always offset the middle layer am i holding to hard or to little?
15:50 I do this dot case like so:
index lefty S', R, pinch U, R', RING righty S, U', R', F, R and a THUMB F' (dude istg thumb f' sledge made my life way easier)
Bro CubeHead, why dont you make another 'I Try Your Scrambles' Video
Let’s go another cubehead vid!
11:33 personally i do d2 with ring finger then middle finger it’s pretty good imo
Same
nice vid thx btw when is the next RTWR?
yeah
Did he forget the yoo??😢😢😨😰😭😭😭😭😭
Ya
Tutorials don’t have them
Wow what an understanding video w cubehead
Omg
gr8 video, btw which editing software u use?
What cube?
Gan 11 m pro black
Hallo cubehead! How can I determine if a comp is official or unofficial?
When you are signing the comp you will see it somewhere
Why you don’t use your left index finger for the F’?
Day 2 of asking for a 4×4 tutorial
Very nice
Where is the yoo cubehead😢
😢😥🥺
I use push U (first U) instead of drag, push U again instead of pull (last U)
Cutehead is actual cube head
5:05 Ya I don't do the A Perm like that (r U r' U r' F R2 U' r' U' r U r' F' is what I do for Aa Perm)
Is it fat t perm with some changes move
I don't have the cube to try the alg rn
bro thanks for the U double flick
Great video! Keep up the work, already know all this but still really helpful for beginners who are aiming to get faster.
Maybe do some tutorials for other cubes like 2x2, 4x4, pyraminx, etc.
(Personal opinion only)
Amazing video as usual continuous it's amazing👍
Your Gan 11 sounds so nice! I wish mine sounded like yours!
13:06 uh thats your middle finger
I'm aware he fixed this in the subtitles
How does Pablo do finger tricks?
💥 BOOM 💥

Very helpful video!
Thanks for this video, really waited for this😁

Will you do wrm v10 review?Say yoo next time🥺
FINALLY MY WAY TO AN ADVANCED CUBER!!!!!!!👍👍
yess new video 🤣
cubehead plz like this comment 😌
D2 is also hard
Great video, but what about B moves?
They’re super rare , I almost never use them :)
@@CubeHead what do you do instead of B moves?
@@bernard_trainor I just avoid them, none of my LL algs use them, and during F2L you should never use them. Only during cross I would execute them either like D or U moves (depending on how I hold the cube)
the video we needed and deserved!
Finally 🎉🎉 Can you do next time a tutorial on the 2x2 (preferably with ortega)?
When are you making intermediate cfop I’ve been waiting for an month please make it .
getting to that really soon! Finger tricks are kinda fundamental for whatever level you are, so I had to make this one first. Next vid will be F2L in FR slot (but explained way better and easier than anywhere else imo)

Thanks for teaching me that love from Myanmar aka Burma ♥ ♥
I really needed this vid
Hello I'm a big fan!, your tutorials are amazing 😍
thanks for the good advice😁
Ok He's cooking now
Do a square 1 1-hour challenge (Kind of like you did for the skewb) it'd be fun to watch, as ur really funny.
i miss the yoooooo
Middle finger, not ring finger
12:47
"all fingertricks" sure but I don't see homegrip B moves (you can do them with index or pinky)
Homegrip B moves? When and how?
Where is the yoooo?
Моим кубикам не хватает скорости что делать таки фингертрюки
yoo cubehead could you make a one handed tutorial?
As always a good video
Thanks cubehead been needing to update my finger tricks.
15:05 U OLL has left the chat
Yeah you should use it for that one as well :)
cool video :)
THANK YOU SO MUCH 👍
