The original song is Brazilian in the "choro" or "chorinho" style and the full name is "Tico-tico no fubá". It was composed by Zequinha de Abreu and was performed for the first time in 1917. And yet - yet - when Rolling Stone or most guitar magazines have a list of the greatest guitar players of all time - they conveniently ignore Paco (jazz, classical, flamenco, bluegrass, blues players not named B.B. King) and pretty much any non-rock guitar players - even Django Reinhart (who Jimmy Hendrix named his band after). Paco is a giant.
