@@A1-BJ That doesn't make sense because if a dealer OVERPAYS you, of course you're not going to say anything. If he really wanted to test you he should have UNDERPAID you to see if you'd say, "Hey, I won that bet but you took my money!" I think he just genuinely made an error.
not meaning this as trash talk but it's nice to see you not easily coast through this as a player in training that struggles in the BJA test-out at times just to see that people ahead of me still aren't bullet proof
New lesson; don’t trust someone else’s count. I saw the bets didn’t match my count - was at +3 and adjusted to +1. Lightbulb moment when spartan goes “I’m at 3” Love your videos
Yeah, going back and rewatching this: 1. I wasn't ready to be tested out. And 2. There is a lot wrong with this video. But at the same time, there's a lot to learn from how much of a professional Spartan is.
Love this. It's a nice little confidence booster. I got the count good on all 3 shoes. I would have been slower than you in terms of bet sizing and decision making, but i'm getting there. Is this the regular speed that I could expect in a casino? It never was overwhelming which suprises me.
It depends. This is probably average to slightly slower. However, if other people at the table are playing side-bets that really slows it down. Ideally, you want it to be fast to generate more E.V.
Awesome thanks for posting. This helps me a lot. I was able to get the count correct on all the shoes and estimated one of the penetrations to be correct. Making progress but will keep practicing. I need to get better at counting faster
Good stuff! I'm just learning the CAC2 system so I had to keep my own count + my bet spread, but you can really see how Spartan tries to throw you off with all of the distractions. I think I only made one mistake, which was being off by the count in the first shoe, but I think everything else I got correct. I can't imagine how difficult this would've been like in person as opposed to me watching through a screen - thanks for showing this to us and thank you Spartan for providing the testout!
@@A1-BJ Disregarding the couple of mispays, it looks like you were up a decent amount after 3 shoes, so as long as you were generating EV, and didn't get backed off, it's all good? Of course, it would be disastrous to keep playing a DD game and always be off on the count.
@brnmcc01 o would disagree... at that point I was off about every-other shoe. Most pros say that an acceptable amount is off by on on the running count every 6 decks or less. I'd say I'm there now, but back then I needed more practice, if if I was "up"
Just found your channel and really like your videos ! I'm beginer in card counting, would ask to you & community 2 questions : 1) is european blackjack (ENHC) is beatable by card counting ? 2) in a casino they asked me to play at minimum 2 hands alone against the dealer, does that make me loose any possibility of wining against casino ? Thanks 🙏
i did my own test out here, and feel like I did well, a few times I had to pause to make the RC TC conversion, or I had to pause to make sure I made the right play without seeing A1 do it first. I fell good with how well I'm doing however I know that I'm not ready between deviations, TC conversion, and bets. thanks for posting this video

What was your deck estimation on the second insurance call in the first shoe? I had a running 4 and its hard to tell from the camera angle, but I am seeing 1 deck left. I guess it could be right on the border. I like these videos! They def help my counting skills too! I wish the BJA site would have practice tools like this.
at 13:57 you had an A,8 V 4 with a running count 2, I couldn't tell the depth but it was a few hands after you counted that it was 52 cards discarded, shouldn't you have doubled that since the deviation is at 3? or is this kinda like splitting 10s where card counters don't do that? edit: nevermind you said you lost the count and were 2 less
Usually people accept off by one o the running count in a 6 deck shoe, with no basic strategy errors, no insurance errors, no deviation errors and no betting errors. Needless to say, I failed.
After the first shoe, I am sitting up $800 using my system! End of the second shoe at 14:35 I have won $1,375! After the last shoe, I made $1,975!! Not to shabby!
What do you do when a dealer recognizes you are counting? This happened to me last night. I was playing in a situation where I was the only player at the table for 3 hours. I was way down, I mean way down, and when the counts were very high, the dealer got all the 10s. Dealer said he saw me counting a little and I tried to deny it, saying I couldn’t understand that, considering how far down I was. I asked him what he meant and he said that he saw me keeping track of the high cards. I know I was being watched, as the pit boss watched the entire time, and like I said, I was the only player in a highly monitored section of a major casino. After a wild swing and major variance, I did manage to get back to even, making some very aggressive bets. Back to the initial question, what do you do when you know you’ve been recognized, and also when you’ve been recognized and your down a large amount?
If you 100% know your being watched. Just play until they back you off. Might as well get as many rounds in as you can. Ig you leave early, they might not let you back in next time, so you might as well keep playing

Thanks for these videos. I run through them at least 2-3 times. Great practice
How do you approach DD games when the count changes so drastically back and forth. You almost have to play some negative counts, how do you play it?
For sure. If it gets below a true negative 2, I get up and use the bathroom or something. But I'd only play if you have run the numbers.
