Step 1: Wait for natural disaster. Pandemic, wave two should do nicely. Step 2: Watch market like a hawk. Specifically you are looking for things like Disney, Six Flags, and Universal to dip due to travel restrictions and/or park closures. Step 3: When the stock drops to your liking, say 15-20%, buy it up. As much as you can safely afford. Step 4: DON'T. FUGGING. PANIC. The stock may drop further, depending on the global situation. But there is a reason I specifically mentioned those companies and not hotels, cruise, or airlines. Step 5: Have patience. The stock will inevitably bounce back, possibly higher than it was. Step 6: Profit. This also works immediately after EA or Activision announce a stupid idea and their stock tanks. It's never a permanent loss. Just be patient and don't panic.

@@Deleted1 I cannot argue with that at all, and for long-term growth it's definitely a tried-and-true method for people who aren't really savvy with only needing a small amount of research. My advice was for people seeking an "exploit" for a one-time investment irrespective of start-up capital. You can't lower the price of a stock as an individual (usually), but there are things that will always trigger a dip. The trick is to know what industry giants will always recover and not go under from it. After 9/11 when the markets reopened Disney dropped to something like less than $50 a share, but it's friggin DISNEY. Once life got back to normal, that stock went back to its old price and has continued to grow. I'd have, quite literally, a million dollars worth of shares if I'd not been so messed up from the events and was thinking about money at the time.

So there is a similar exploit that I figured out myself. I don't know if this was already known, but this is my own discovery and I want to share it. I had around $100 in my steam wallet and I was intrested in a game that was 40% off due to the steam sales. However, I found it much cheaper on eBay from someone who supposedly lived in New York (if you know what I'm talking about, no need for me to explain). Completely legal since I technically give them consent to use my account. They changed the account region to the Russian Federation, and my steam wallet currency also changed to rubles as well. After buying the game, I immediately changed my region back to the US, and my wallet currency changed again. It turns out I gained 30,000 points all because steam thinks I added credit to my wallet simply by changing the currency for my supposed region. Needlessly to say, I splurged that day.

If you have a lot of time in your hands (which you probably do), you can technically make infinite money off this exploit. Surefire way to get yourself banned though, I'd imagine. For every £100 you "spend" you'll get 5 cards or so .. 10p each. Do it 100 times, you made £50. Do it a thousand times .. now we're talking money.
You can get a few cents for each item from the shop and each card. After an hour of spamming this you might be able to get a 4.99 game free....

He probably found it out on day one and exploited the shit out of it and got rich. At some point he decided "fuck it I got enough money" and shared his scheme with the world. Except it doesn't work any more and he made more money on the UA-cam video. That is what I call a smart businessman :)

The New York Stock Exchange is a Perfectly Balanced Game with Absolutely no Exploits
1929 2: The Electric Boogaloo
Just be patient and don't panic.

step 5: profit
