With the basic foam gun all set up, I just took a piece of paper and traced out the grip shape and slide shape. From there I free drew different shapes on the foam for the details and layered them. So for the muzzle, that's just a circle with a hole cut through it (the sides are all sanded at an angle to give it roundness). With the slide, I free drew those triangles and all those odds shapes and cut them out. To give it more depth I layered them. For the grip I layered too. The screws are small circles with an indent in the middle to mimic an actual screw. The skull is another circle that I etched the design/painted the face on. The lines on the grip were made with a flathead screwdriver type of end.
