Man my brother was so worried I was going to be offended by Kid since I'm OCD and had a symmetry tick growing up. I actually loved Kid and loved seeing my issue put on a baddass. Like, it was a problem and he struggles with it, which is validating, but he's still awesome and good at what he does, which was inspiring. For the most part he was actually pretty accurate. I told my brother that while he was exaggerated, and of course I didn't act like that, Kid was a great display of what it FELT like. Though he was inaccurate in one regard. His hate for odd numbers isn't realistic. I actually preferred odd numbers in a lot of cases. It's not hard to be symmetrical with odd numbers. You just put one in the center, the same amount on both sides. See? Problem solved and it looks better anyways.
@@jenniflower6569 well from an outside perspective a lot of mental disorders appear to do that. In reality it's just the kid/adult learning how to better cope with it. When it's appropriate to react how they want to, and how to keep themselves from doing so when it's not. Most people "calm down" as they get older in a lot of senses. Where a kid might cry and scream if the store is out of their favorite cookie, and adult will only pout. Not because the adult is any less dissapoited, but because the adult has matured enough to reign in that reaction. Where a child's entire day may be ruined, the adult has an easier time letting those feelings go after a minute or two. It's the same thing with disorders and mental illness. I guess another analogy would be running with a limp. The limp never "got better", we just got faster at walking with it. Some people get so good you'd never notice they had one.
If Death The Kid was in Mortal Kombat his fatality would be ripping out his opponent's heart and putting it the center, and it would be called symmetrical heart surgery.
I won’t let this moment go to waste and I never get the chance to see Todd Haberkorn doing a good job playing as Allen Walker & Natsu Dragneel as for those days who were behind me now at what cost.
Honestly Kid’s symmetry behavior is cute. I actually have a crush on him,Liz and Patty they’re basically my favorite characters and my waifus and husbando
Whoever watches Fire Force or ready the manga. The last chapter revealed that Fire Force is a prequel to Soul Eater, basically Shinra remade the world and it resulted in the world of Soul Eater being made. Death made his son look like Shinra on purpose, as a way to honor Shinra for saving the world.
XNorthEast The anime is not a complete adaption of the manga. Only partially. The manga keeps going and eventually, death the kid gets his lines symmetrical
His fixation and constant attention to things being orderly and nice, was how I figured out I had OCD. Watch the show I saw just how much he liked symmetry, and I related. Not as much things being symmetrical, but I like things being neat and orderly and will almost always straighten a pen, pencil, folder, something just because if I don’t I’ll be annoyed by the entire time. He wasn’t the germaphobic, though there were moments, guy I saw for OCD. I just liked that there was a character who had OCD (non cleaning related) and was still awesome. Although I disagree on the odd number hate, prime numbers are my babies.
I've seen this character everywhere and my cousin made me watch the first episode I had noo idea what to expect of this guy but it wasn't any of this 😭😭
Damn why is it now that I'm way older that I'm starting to feel sorry for his behaviour LOL. It's clearly a really bad case of OCD. Turning adult is grim, now that I've experienced life draining obsessions, I'm starting to feel bad for the kid lol

people can have multiple kinds of OCD, like for example, being afraind of a certain number and completly try to avoid it.
Kid doesn't see it as a problem himself because he likes Symmetry
Question about OCD:
(cause I don't have it) does it in a sense tend to 'calm down' as you get older and more mature?
