    Of all the ARC talks that I have heard, she is the first person to mention about India - the country with largest population in the entire world, world's 5th largest economy, a large, law abiding, leading and successful Indian diaspora across the world, world's largest democracy, and the oldest existing civilization in the world which believes that 'world is one family' (vasudhaiva kutumbakkam) ...
    While the ARC movement has made a fantastic and powerful beginning, I wonder how in such interconnected and globalized world can the West afford to not have any Indian representative at the table... Guess, to even identify whom to invite, the organisers need to sit up and look around and beyond their existing sense of the world...

    The reason this country is in decline is there is too much cronyism and government interference in the free markets. It's harder now than ever for us SMEs and no support with the stages of growth, especially with financing because the banks are useless.

    • @martinliehs2513
      @martinliehs2513 Рік тому +4

      Yes, very good point. Despite ever expanding government bloat along with their corporate cronies, SMEs still provide the majority of jobs, as well as a lot of innovation.

    A wise migration policy asks how many educated humans are in one country and how many does it take to achieve its development goals. A foolish migration policy steals educated humans from a poor country, brings them to a rich country. How is Haiti doing? I heard a recent Governor General of Canada was a well educated woman from Haiti.

      The smart ones run from thier own countries . Their countries should call them back to help them grow. Maybe call out all the traitors because that is what they are and all the young men leaving are weak minded cowards lazy too they don’t care about their own family’s, culture, country’s they just leave… the new colonialism is going to be you stole our people 😢

      If you give educated/talented people an avenue of escape from a "poor" country they will take it, look at South Africa.

    • @TimBitts649
      @TimBitts649 Рік тому +4

      You're right about that. Part of the solution to that, is rich countries like Canada need to stop patting themselves on the back, telling themselves how noble and kind they are, for letting in educated immigrants. It's the opposite of kind: it's cruel.@@killcat1971

    Insightful and eloquent. Well done. I had thought prompted by the discourse that deals with perhaps unnecessary growth of government and business alike. If you establish, with all good intent, a body to look for systemic problems such as discrimination, or any number of isms, what is the best way to avoid the resultant entrenchment and self protection evident in all regulatory bodies? A quite neutral example of virtue signaling is the concept of constant improvement, often featured in an organization’s mission statement. The problem here, of course, is that over time the incremental improvements become lost in the noise of measurement. Yet organizations are loathe to reassess the goal and the effort spent becomes a burden.

      Honestly she would annihilate Labour at the dispatch box which she famously did on race back in 2019. The great thing is she’s not ideal cause of her race, she’s realistic and real unlike most mps today. If she was given the chance she would be a hit with the electorate, as contrary to popular belief race is irrelevant these days
