Is it me or do Hiroyuki Sawano songs not have a climatic high note? I mean it might just be my ears but for reason I can't bring myself to like his music due to the lack of a climatic high note in nearly all of his songs....might be that the instruments are too loud when the voice should carry the song, almost as if the singer is second fiddle to the instruments as a complementary piece instead of being the main focus thus taking away the power of the lyrics as well as the strength/emotions of the singers voice givng the entire Hiroyuki library a sence of synthese and emotional disconnect which results in a missing High note during the singing and thus a lower if not missing emotional hook that would otherwise elevate the music to higher heights of comprehension which would make the listener stop thinking and let the music carry them... Or I'm just a cretin with no idea how songs are structured and can't find the words as to why I don't like Hiroyuki Sawano's music with very rare exeptions (possible three or four songs in total).
Probably due to the fact that the music doesn't really change in it's rifts or technically have a drop like most music, they just layer on 2 or 3 more instruments and cut out the ambiance in the background to make it epic. I personally love it but to each their own.
