This song changed my whole perspective towards Attack on Titan. This was a really dark, sad, yet beautiful anime. I'm very thankful for this song, this anime, Hajime Isayama, and all the animators and voice actors. (I'm still bummed that Eren and Mikasa didn't get their happy ending :( )
Actually, I believe that when Mikasa dies, her and Eren reunite in the after life and have their happy ending. :) I’m just so sad they weren’t able to witness it while they were young and with their family and friends. It would have been truly beautiful to see their true confessions to each other before Eren eventually dies. :(

This song makes me cry everytime. It just perfectly captures the hope and determination all the scouts had to defeat the Titans. Somehow, the fight against the Titans was far more easier than the fight against the truth. Those days were so innocent, simple, and golden.
