Specifically, she tips it off that it's lost track of Fern on two occasions. She smiles at it and it visibly reacts to her expression when she floats to the side and reveals Fern behind her. And when clone Frieren gets mortally wounded and has no choice but to accept this, doesn't she look properly pissed off? Trick Monsters into thinking that the person is not strong due to low Magic Power but in fact the person is suppressing and hiding his own Magic Power has become proficient (In the anime, it was mentioned that few mages practice hiding Magic Power because it is not necessary). 2. Trick a human opponent (Frieren and Fern anime episode) into underestimating the person and by the time the opponent realizes it's too late because the person's Magic Power is too different from his/her own.

Everytime i forget how strong fern really is. Yes, against Mirror Frieren she could not stand a chance but it was Frieren 😂 the final endboss...( i know there a stronger ones but Frieren is another level)
