It's funny how I'm so used to listening to songs in Japanese and being able to enjoy the overall sound the vocals add to the instruments that even though this is technically in English my brain is still just ignoring the actual meaning of the words or even where one word ends and the next begins to just hear the overall combination of sounds

Good music transcends all, becomes about emotion and feeling. I don't need to understand Japanese to know this song is good. Makes me want to try to sing along or dance. Makes me want to move.

Not really, the japanese language is pretty simple in their phonemes, lacking most of the phonemes necessary for most other languages, the other way around is not true though.
You don't wanna know how cringy German can sound in Anime. Kämpfer was a true cringefest(not only because the anime was rather meh) and when I heard and read the lyrics of Blumenkranz, one of the Soundtracks from Kill la Kill...yeah. The "Sie sind das Essen und wir sind die Jäger" is pretty okay though.

@@ia285 they mean that AOT was set in a place where people multiple ethnicities all lived together so the english and german lyrics worked really well. In another anime like KOTIF that is based in a very Japan-like culture, the german lyrics might not fit as well.

It started very good and very promising, but then begun to slip down to the last episodes's bottom.
The biba arc ruined it a bit for me. But it was still an amazing Anime.
Always give something a second chance. Some anime can sometimes go down hill but this wasn’t anything that bad. For al we know it could have been worse but their studio can recover from this if they give us a good story with good teachings.

Is this anime an ATTACK ON TITAN clone? Because Mumei reminds me of Mikasa, because they're both Badass to me....
They are both made by Wit Studio, share a fair bit of similarities (mostly the themes of post-apocalyptic world and invasion of new 'species') but mostly it's just the salty Attack on Titan fans calling it rip-off because they can't get over the fact, that the studio can make a second good series. (I don't mean to say that they should definitely love this series, but at least they could accept that others do). So yeah, similar but not the same.

@@hemlockandspiderlillies i happened to come across it through aot. I watched the whole season of kabaneri back then it was really bad. Animation great for sure its Wit and Music great aswell. Kabaneri is just a boneless aot. Why i comment this because that statement is cap to me.

Came here because of Daitomodachi's Dragonball Gohanverse series.
The only similitaries with Aot derive from the fact that the studio behind the production is the same for both the series, even the ost is very similar.
Sawano has a style, but his music still sounds really unique when you look at different shows, games, his own works etc so it makes more sense learning it's the same studio as AoT now; they probably make the same atmospheres in their anime so want the same kind of music
