A tip with the onions, after you slice them you should leave them in a cold water bath to remove the pungency while keeping the sweeter onion flavour intact.

I love green goddess! Thought it was lost in the shuffle of modern plastic. About a decade ago I started adding an avocado to the blender. Adds a dollar I guess. Love you and your show Stay thin - I'm not afraid to eat yours Thanks for a fun marathon - Trisha

How long can you store the extra dressing in the jar?

Green Goddess dressed by is the bomb. But I don’t pre-chop anything going into the blender. Life’s too short.

This looks amazing - hard boiled eggs also seem like they'd be great in it too.

Or take it one step further and make those hard-boiled eggs into delicious deviled eggs to eat alongside the salad 😋!

Ok but...how many servings, and how many calories per serving? How many ounces per serving? 2.81 is not that far off a 7oz prepackaged salad ($2.99 on sale), which isn't as good but which does save you all that prep and cleanup.

Many cultures say they cannot feel well if they don't eat 3 warm meals per day. One woman had a roommate from such a country, the roommate was an international student and when she saw that the school cafeteria only had salads and sandwiches for one mealtime, she had a conniption! Reeks of spoiled behavior/first-world problems to me.

In 2008 I lived with my then-26 year old nephew for a year, after my son was killed in an accident, and I just couldn't cope.
Nephew, never spoiled by my sister, still was of the entitled brat mindset, and because we both loved to cook, he insisted on hot meals three times a day. However, he also worked as a roofer, and had to carry his lunches with him in a big cooler, which meant I got really creative and made him some super great sandwiches.
They were so good, and so filling, he could eat just one with the rest of the things I packed in and he'd be good to go for another four hours. He'd have his second sandwich around 3 p.m., and could then go until we prepared dinner later in the evening.
It wasn't until I moved to my own apartment a year later that he realized he hadn't had a hot lunch during his working days, but had them only on the weekends. He said his lunches were so good, he never missed the fact that there was no hot food in them!
