    I use chopping scissors (Trudeau Toss and Chop Salad Tongs) they were a game changer! They are curved slightly on the bottom to use in a bowl. I’ve had them for three years now and sometimes I even use them to chop my entire salad. I’ll roughly chop some vegetables and put everything in a bowl and chop with my scissors. It’s a great way to get teenagers to eat their salad as well. Thanks for the video! Beautiful bowls!

    Wow.. I'm a chef,and didn't think about chopping the salad or veggies down this way to get then all in. I just started this lifestyle, at 56. It is more than time to lose this weight, nothing ever worked.
    I ordered your book, reading it now. I'll look into getting this bowl and some of the dressing you recommend.

    I just picked out my Christmas gift--last year I got an Instant Pot and Breville Food Processor. My vegan kitchen accessories just keep growing. Such beautiful bowls; it was hard to pick one. I currently chop my salad on my cutting board and it takes almost 20 minutes to chop everything individually, so hopefully when I get my bowl it will save me some time. Thanks AJ.

    As a tenth wedding anniversary gift I was bought a mezzaluna and I was unsure what I was going to use it for but after you making short work of the spinach as a salad and really hating spinach salad because of the leaf size - I will now try it out.

    That made my mouth water. I make it a point to eat spinach every day, and I usually shred it a little by hand if I'm going to eat it in a salad (as opposed to a smoothie or in soup). But I really like the way you chop it to tiny bits, and then add berries and balsamic vinegar. Yum! Oh, and I've been completely plant-based since Nov 2017, and feeling better than ever. Thanks, AJ.

    Great vid AJ. I have to say between you and Tami over at Nutmeg Notebook, the chopped salad has revolutionized my WFPD diet. There are many thing to praise the chopped salad for, but I will be forever amazed at the shear variety of food you can get into one of these. It crazy! The nutritional value is off the chart.

    I am reading your book at the moment very interesting. The ultimate weight loss. When I am eating I love to eat simple. I eat either pototoes or rice each day not both. How much pound of either would you recommend for the day. Plus my vegetables of course. Do you weight you carbs before you cook it or when you are putting it in your plates.

    • @RabbitFoodFitness
      @RabbitFoodFitness 5 років тому +2

      She does not suggest weighing carbs. Her entire idea is based around the idea that people eat the same size of food every single day, but that we can lose weight by controlling the calorie density. Weighing food and determining how many carbs you should have in a day is a completely different idea much more closely based on macronutrient tracking. If you want to follow her plan, just flip over the book, look at the picture and eat to the left of the red line. I hope this helps.
