Luciano te adoro ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nothing better… ever… anywhere… the greatest Sutherland and her occasional partner Luciano
Marvellous Sutherland! God’s precious gift!!
You won't find a better tenor in the world. No doubt about it.
That Sutherland encore by Ricci!!!!!!! Among many other things. Great concert and Pavarotti was at his peak here.
The section of the rehearsal process is a wonderful insight to this event.
That hamlet mad scene ❤️❤️❤️
🙏🙏👍🌺
I'm not too familiar with Bonynge's conducting style, but I found it overly fast here. Luciano was in super vocal form, but most of his arias were rushed. Had this been from 2,000, I might have attributed that to his decreasing attention to the musical line and its intricacies in his later globe-trotting years, but in 1979 he was still in his more humble natural nature and he sang with great style and emotion, so I would have to assume it was Bonynge who was rushing him.
What orchestra was this?
New York City Opera Orchestra I think.
@@ahogbin2644 I was wondering if it was them or the met opera orchestra.
