Taxy cabs outside the border are so expensive, and they charge more if they see you are not hispanic looking lol

I wish that this video was a lot more informative. It would have been nice to know how much money you spent, how much you paid to get into the water park, how much Uber costs there, how much the food is, and the name of the beach you went to. My friend and I are looking to visit Tijuana this summer for the first time, and was hoping to find out more specifics.
Hi, I'm a local. Currently, 1USD = 18MXN. Prices will be listed in MXN. The place they went to eat in the beginning is kinda expensive, not gourmet expensive, but definitely more than average. The chilaquiles there are $90 if I remember correctly, in other places they're $65 usually. The other places are like $50 for a very decent meal. The water park costs $150. Well, as in the US it depends on your distance and time, but the minimum fare is $35, that should give you an idea. The beach itself does not have a name AFAIK, the place is just called "the pier" (el malecón).

So glad that you guys went to Telefonica! I go there all the time and I love it there! I highly recommend Creta, which is a food truck in Telefonica. The Arrachera with the risotto is my favorite from there.

We went to breakfast at Alma Verde, then to El Vergel waterpark, then to Telefonica Gastropark, then to CECUT, then to Playas de Tijuana, then to La Espadana :)

The cab you took at the begining are the most expensive they always charge you a lot more than it would be from the border to any place on tijuana , im from here👌👌

How long did it take to cross by foot? Is it easier to drive or to walk across the border?
It doesn't take long to walk across! Going into Mexico it's probably 15-30 minutes depending on how busy it is. Coming back is anywhere between 15 minutes and an hour has been our typical experience.
Driving in doesn't take long at all. You wind your way through the border area, then a picture of your car is taken. They might flag you for secondary inspection, but most of the time you breeze right through. Coming back into the US you'll need to time that a bit better. Wait times are anywhere between 30 minutes and 3 hours. You can look up the wait times here: apps.cbp.gov/bwt/mobile.asp?action=n&pn=2504

There's a currency exchange place on the U.S. side of the border, so we always go there because it's so convenient!
As a person living in Tijuana, I recommend changing money in the US cuz you're gonna get more pesos than in Mexico

Im from tj and i have never been to the water park hahahah. I think the best way to show you are a tourist its to wear a bikini, almost no one wears bikinis, 🤔

How do you use uber in Mexico?
It's pretty easy! As long as you have the app downloaded and a phone plan that allows you to use data in Mexico, you should be good to go. The prices are much lower than in the U.S. which is awesome if you are cheap travelers like us! :)
