  • This is a tour of downtown Tijuana Mexico on a Sunday afternoon in August. We start out on Avenida Revolucion and walk towards the US border. We check out several markets and other side streets around downtown Tijuana. There is another area called Zona Rio which we did not actually show in this tour. We mostly highlighted central Tijuana.

      @@justme87999 yes. That’s the point. Have you seen the “tourist streets” of LA? They look like shit. You see homeless people and garbage everywhere and the homeless take dumps in the street. Tijuana may not have the nicest streets surrounding the tourist areas. But you will NOT see human beings going to the bathroom in public.

      No don't visit... not safe especially if you are not from there and don't have family or friend who can guide you. If you are cartel - then defiantly not safe for you by default but tourists these days for the past few years are also not safe either. Not likely for something to happen by the cartel - but rather street thugs for tourists - robberies mostly... Cartels really only extort the wealthy or people in high positions. Sinaloa organization for example will murder anyone caught extorting a working class civilian. Wealthy? nope... but if you rob a poor or working class person - you are going to pay with your life.

    If Mexico had the vision (they certainly have the money, especially if you count the cartels who low-key pull most of the economic and political strings these days), it could turn Tijuana into a MAJOR world-class gambling/entertainment center at least on par with Las Vegas up in Nevada or even Macau over in China if planned out right. And if it finally starts developing nearby Ensenada's port to 21st-century standards, Tijuana won't even have to rely primarily on San Diego and Los Angeles right across the border for most of their tourism revenue anymore. Oh, the possibilities...

    Was in school for the Navy in San Diego back in the summer of '92. Me and my buddies would go down to TJ almost every weekend. We had a favorite club that we went to called Tequila Sunrise. Partied pretty much until the early morning, usually catching the first trolly back to San Diego. Getting into TJ was a breeze back then, just walked across. Coming back was pretty easy as well just had to stand in line and then show my military ID and got waved right in.

We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, & the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, & abominable, & murderers, & immoral persons & sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus & put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent.

    Looks nothing like the Tijuana I saw in a Cheech and Chong movie. Regardless, I will not be visiting as I am now stranded for life in my country of origin due to me not having (vaxx )clearance via a (vaxx) passport.
    I wonder how much tourism will suffer now because of this nonsense!

    • @thomaspollock3904

      It's not that dangerous if you stay in the police protected tourist areas but if you were to walk straight past the arch a couple blocks
      like he said you won't be in a safe area anymore (you want to turn right at the arch and cross the river to get to the border crossing).

    • @richardweiler3966
      @richardweiler3966 3 роки тому

      Matters where you are. Some areas near downtown are very dangerous.

    • @hueso5071

      It's only dangerous if you're involved with some shady business.

    • @richardweiler3966
      @richardweiler3966 3 роки тому +2

      @@hueso5071 depends. Cops are everywhere looking to shakedown innocent visitors. Rateros (usually deported criminals and gang members) are known to randomly assault and rob strolling visitors who might venture off the Revolucion avenue tourist strip. Chokehold muggings are their speciality. Engaging in shady business certainly increases your chances of danger. But TJ, especially at night, offers plenty risks even if you're not looking for trouble.

      @@hueso5071 I would say it's also dangerous here in the USA like the shooting in wallmart ,but you have to be alert in TJ though I do have a lot of fun when I go and try to keep safety and in the eye of the public .

    Tijuana is not that dangerous compare to Oakland California which is the most dangerous city in USA. in Oakland you are more likely to get robbed in daylight along with high rate of gun violence. You should come and make a video of downtown Oakland and the hoods than you will see the difference.
