This will go down in history as the most iconic Raptors shot.
People were expecting OT . That last second stab at it to show that he won't give up looked like a rim bounce but no cigar.
Nobody thought it was in at the 3rd bounce but it came down just enough on the inner part of the rim fall in the basket .
You had the pressure in the ball , the hoops resistance to the impact , gravity pulling it back down , then a round metal surface that needed to be hit at the exact point to change the balls direction inward to fall though the net for 2 points .
Destiny is amazing because some are born with greatness to complete their goals while other have greatness visit them and placed on their shoulders as all those around them saw a common man .
Imagine all of the events that had to occure in Leonard's life to get him on the Raptors for game 7 to do what he did and now make the finals to see the team beat the Warriors in game 1 .
I hope it goes to game 5 in TO with a 3-1 lead to win 4 games and on Home Court , if not go to game 7 tied a 3-3 adn win on home court for the NBA ring and banner
Put Morris Peterson buzzer tying shot against Washington after that
THATS GOTTA BE THE TOP SHOT IN NBA HISTORY.. EVER.. IF ITS NOT, IM GOTTA PLACE IT NO LOWER THAN 2.. BUT I CANT THINK OF NO SHOT MORE SPECIAL.
NBA Shot

The shot was amazing. The bounce on that shot, the buzzer and that perfect timing. Everything was obviously incredible, Including the moving screen and the travel.
Love that crowd silence before the ball went in
I think they were just stunned and disappointed Raptors didnt finish it and allowed Butler to tie game with an easy layup
It gives me chills
@@ywkdeadmeat884 why
@Shonicks ➐ you don't know what why means?
@@connorsaxton2920 he’s saying that people should have chills from this, it shouldn’t be questioned why
My favorite buzzer beater of all time.
Shot made, fading away, ..over a 7ft 2 monster of a game 7 conference final!!
semifinal*
After they won the championship, I am back here reliving these amazing moments. I !@#$-ing love this game.
Agreed!!! We The North!!!
That 2019 Raptors championship playoff run is my most cherished memory as a Toronto sports fan. The Blue Jays back to back World Series wins are right up there but I was only 11 and 12 at the time. In my older age I appreciate the Raptors championship more.
The shot that never gets old. In 200 years they'll dig up the video and go crazy!
put this on loop for the rest of the night.
Everyone in that arena heard that ball bounce around that rim. Will it? Won't it?! And then..
WE THE NORTH
I think we should protest.
Holy shit the energy in that building🔥🔥🔥
Canada we owe this man for life, still get the chills
Raptors need to teach the Leafs how to be clutch in Game 7.
lets just enjoy a great moment without making it about the leafs
@Brandon Allan can we be happy, and make jokes at the Leafs expense too?
Toronto 67ers
Liam Webster OOF
Disagree. Experience matters, Kawhi has been here before. Leafs got beat by an experienced Bruins team (who I believe will we in the cup).
Pause at 1:08

My favorite is the Asian guy in the black shirt middle right. He’s like hell naw... then his reaction completely changes after he realizes it has a chance to go in
Tenzin Sherab nice one
Guy in the white shirt, yellow long sleeve under the backboard shaking his head that it wasnt going in
@@JimmyJiveJones Nice haha. I hadn't noticed that one.
@@daveydmur Dude looked like he jus wanted to go home already 😭😂😂
Toronto has some of the best crowd pops/reactions in sports. The crowd reaction from Bautista's bat flip home run and this Leonard shot are absolutely deafening, surreal and dramatic!
Don't forget Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock @ Wrestlemania 18.
@@daninbox BIG FACTS
Its just Canada in its entirety homie. Canadiens fans go as hard as this too for barely nothing
Whole Toronto Raptors squad= Pure Legendary
Thank you SN for having the superior camera work (compared to TNT). Captured Kawhi's reaction and the call perfectly!
Dman40000 it’s the same cameras, just different looks
@@toblrwn the TNT(American) broadcast didn't show Kawhi's reaction right after the ball when in
Sure, but the call on TNT was legendary.
I haven't seen such a call ever. What a beautiful moment.
I’ve been watching basketball since I can remember the Vancouver Grizzlies tanking... that has to be the greatest shot I’ve ever seen personally. Amazing. Kawhi!!!🤗
Most electrifying moment in the nba playoffs history with these fans after this basket.
4 days later and it's still giving me goosebumps! Go Raps Go!!!
Still gives me chills, amazing!
Bro I get goosebumps watching this! Unreal
watched this like 1000009383 times already
Thank you KAWHI LEONARD for making this Mother’s Day happy even my heart is grieving of loosing my children😢. Thank you
This will NEVER be forgotten
One the most iconic shots in NBA History 💯💪🏼
Best is the guy in the crowd at 1:08 (in yellow) shaking his head as it goes off the rim....
Lmao ye of little faith
Shaking his head like it's not going in, and his complete opposite reaction after it sinks lmao cringeworthy but more funny.
Every angle... goosebumps!
Joel Embiid's facial expressions will NEVER get old. EVER.
The Definition...of Greatness...
Relic686 you mean luck
Relic686 not to mention it was also a travel
@@tonymccurdy397 mad
@@tonymccurdy397 can you count 😂😅
Kawhi’s reaction after the shot went in will forever be LEGENDARY. I get hype just seeing slim yelling 💪🏾
This will never get old. Never.
Hits the shot to win the series, screams with joy, seconds later all business again. Let's go back to work. What a special player. He will be missed in the 6ix but we're grateful to have witnessed his greatness for 1 season. And overjoyed he helped us get a chip. Thank you Klaw.
*KING OF THE NORTH*
The king in the North
The king in the North
wassup :D
Had to relive it all before we win it all tomorrow night
Raps in 5
Dale Gribble in 6

Kawhi "Hero" "The King in the North" "Sub-Zero" "Kawhi Liang" "Klutch" Leonard
Wow that building just lit up!! My guys go raps go! 🔥🔥🔥
This is up there with the Bautista bat flip
Yeah. Crazy shot, but Kawhi practices those shots.
hell no
Only difference is that kawhi never disrespected the other team lol, but both moments were epic!
Wayyyy better than the bat flip that was one legendary shot!!
@@Snipa627 Bat Flip was legendary too. Widely considered one of the greatest innings ever played in baseball history.
Literally the second greatest moment in the history of Toronto sports. That shot was when we all realized three things:
1: The Raptors that year were something special.
2: Their destiny was finally winning a title.
3: NOTHING was going to stop them.
Omg.. came cross this again. And had to click on it !!! Must have seen this like a billion times!. And still have the same biggest smile and energy.😊 Thank you, thank you Kawhi for helping us bring the championship home!!! You will be FOREVER be 💕
The Canadian Mint better add another printing press to their floor just to run the bills for Leonard's next contract deal!🤣👍
You know it’s a big moment when even security and arena staff are celebrating 😂
The Shot, Eastern Conference Champions, NBA Champions, Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, We The North, We The Champs, Thank You Kawhi Leonard!!!
Somebody needs to do a 10 hour video of this. I could watch this on repeat for the rest of my life
Man I was so happy when that shot went in
So we were watching it right it was 90 90 so he went to the 3 line and he shot my dad was like “and that’s overtime, great” then the shot went in and we were like OMG KAWHI OMG NO WAY it was hell of an experience and glad to see Toronto win something ONCE AND FOR ALL
simply unforgettable
Biggest shot in Raptors history. The 2 biggest sports moments in my lifetime so far happened against Philadelphia teams. This shot and Joe Carter's World Series winning home run against the Phillies in 1993. The Blue Jays and Raptors championship teams will hold a special place in my heart forever.
How many times did I watch this,Thank you Leonard.WE NORTH IS NBA CHAMPION.GAME PUT WHOLE CANADA TOGETHER. THANK YOU .COACH NURSE,WE SALUTE YOU.🏀🏀🏀
Mind Blown
Legend has it that Lin is still looking for someone to celebrate with.
the sad thing is, now he's looking for a team to let him play )':
Every Canadian mother got a present
dat squat doe
when you consistently make game winning shots and also consistently make 40 points -- and this shot did both yet again -- you just know that shooter's bounce and forward spin was mostly skill.
I love the angle starting at 0:52. You can see Embiid do a little fist pump at 0:56 because he thinks the shot is no good! Then he leans in to watch the rest of history.
This will always be my favourite moment in my Raptors history ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Goat🔥🔥🔥
1:22 is one of my favourite sports photos/frames of all time, what an iconic moment
1:06 the dude with yellow sleeves on unleashed demons as the shot went in
I just remember being at work and the whole restaurant watching on these two tiny tvs we had in the bar. The place erupted in cheers. One of the best shots in the history of the nba. The restaurant was in Florida
Watching this in 2022 and I still have goosebumps! Go raps 🇨🇦
Love how everyone froze when the ball first went in and where tf was drake
Can Drake give Kawhi like 100 million dollars to stay in Toronto. Like seriously.
I was in canada at the time an hour away from toronto watching at home with my dad.. and this is by far the greatest game winner everrr
History was written
THIS. NEVER. GETS. OLD!!
If you watch it in slow motion from the 1:15 mark you’ll see he travelled. He took 4 steps before releasing the shot, the ref wasn’t going to call it in such a tense moment though.
2 months later, still gives me goosebumps
I can’t help but shed a tear all these months later.... :’)
Last angle was dope
I still cry every time I watch this.
Still gives me goosebumps
This never gets old!
I’ve seen this at least 100 times and it’s still incredible
The crazy thing is, the defence was so good!
One angle that's not featured here was a wide shot from center court, and when the ref positioned near the backcourt saw it go in, he counted it really emphatically... like driving a fist into someone's gut. Nice to see that even that ref got caught up in the moment while doing his job.
I searched up "kawhi leonard game winner sportsnet" just to hear Matt devlin's commentary
I prefer this commentary over the TNT one
Everyone in the room had money on raps to win by two. That night was wild
Never get bored of that shot
Man the Raptors are so lucky to have Kawhi still in good form and healthy before his health really started to fall off in 2021.
kawhi turned into a T-rex after that shot went down.
true raptor.
Happy anniversary. It's been exactly one year since this most epic of shots.
That’s my favorite call by jack Anderson ever
I’ve been replaying this thousand times just so I can see all of the people’s reactions.
What a time to be alive! Take me back!
Kawahi’s reaction after was the best... someone needs to put the super saiyan effect on him when he celebrates
I get chills every time
1:21 look at og's reaction 😆
2 Years Ago today 🇨🇦 Thank you Kawhi!
This is a certified “Basketball Movie” moment
Toronto has the best crowd in the NBA
Sadly, because of covid-19 we may never get back those crowds, which means this particular buzzer beater could be the last of the great arena moments.
1 year ago today history was made!!!
Every time I watch this. I get nervous, heart beats faster. I know it will go in, but still every time.. anybody else feel like that?
Who said there is no such thing as the perfect UA-cam video???
Who else comes back every now and than to see this great canadian sports moment 🙋♂️
I’m happy we got to experience this without COVID in the world.
matt devlim legendary call
Idk who these announcers are but they’re lit AF
Matty d and Jackie Armstrong
I remember this like it was yesterday
Sweet! And the Rest is History. Thanks Nick for that play.
Imagine if that had been the championship winning basket that year!
A Philly fan here, and that shot haunts me?
Not that it would have or should have been called. Just wondering. And Madd Props to Kawhi and the Raptors!!
Carter's miss in 01 haunted me until Kawhi's shot!
I tell ya! That Kawhi Lenard, he's a fun guy...
I wonder why or what conditioned us during our evolutionary journey to raise our hands... in victory.
Best last second shot in history...in my opinion.
Respects to the security guards who had to face away from the court the whole time
