These are some of our best Tips and Tricks to Finding placer Gold in Rivers and Creeks that most people don't talk about. People talk about sampling but they never cover the details about sandbars , tributaries and hillside erosion. Don't forget to smash that like button ...SMASH it HARD !!!! and for more videos on How To Find Gold Everytime just watch this vid ua-cam.com/video/iZBm8b7Ee8w/v-deo.html
Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
Great info and video professor always enjoy the out in the field ones but you know my favorites the drift mine and the nugget ones detecting your instructions i know help followers find good ty for every bit you do
Gold gets to the river by a tributary or a shelf. Once you figure out which one you are chasing, you're on your way to a pay streak. By the looks of your pannings, I'd say it was a shelf.chunky quartz chipped off from erosion.
“And yeah your going to get wet “ Thanks for the advice, live close to the mighty Yuba, near North, San Juan,it’s hot so, Yeah, I’m going to get wet
Ps what caliber are you carrying Cowboy
This guy literally never disappoints with the knowledge. Thank you for not hoarding. Someone got to teach us younger generation.
👏
Here in Austria it is very hard to find gold, but there is a wild mountain river in about 20km away known for Gold.
So i will grab my gold Pan, my screwdriver and check every crevices in the bedrock.
Just being in the beautiful nature, that's the key. 🗝️👍
And it's very close
Thanks for the adventure and the schooling , when I get a robot it's going to do all of the digging ha ha thanks Jeff TANK
Another excellent lesson on gold prospecting. Thanks.
If I ever go searching for the lost Dutchman's gold mine I'm dragging you along with me on the adventure..😮
In my years of prospecting… crevices have always yielded best.
I’ve spent a full day moving gravel through my sluice with moderate results. The next day I found twice as much gold in one cup of crevice material in less than 30 minutes.
Needless to say, the sluice box stays at home most of the time these days 😆
Just amazing work fam. Loads of great info 👍😀. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Appreciate it!!
The dirt from the bank where the rock was decomposing with quartz in it was where the specimens came from. The other had to come from the creek it seems to have a touch of mercury on some of it. Thank you for the video I can't wait to put this knowledge in play tomorrow. The part about the different layers in the bank was the thing I was hoping you would talk about. Like you said I just need hand handful of good pay dirt to change your life.
I need to say thank you sir. One day, I saw this channel and thought I'd give it a try. Also saw Dan Hurd, and flour gold wizard. Over the fourth of July break, I went camping with my brother and his wife, and we all tried, and we were all successful. We only found .157 grams of gold, but we all found some, and now I'm hooked. Thank you for all the info on what to look for and where. I'll post when I found my first gram or nugget, or both
thats great and that what we love to hear Congrats my brother and now the ever will burn strong
I have house cleaning, the yard to mow and a dryer vent repair to do before I can do some prospecting ⛏️ today. 🦅
I'm not used to seeing Jeff and green vegetation in the same picture. Great content as always.
thanks Jeff! i been missing the good ol creek videos! awesome brother! GOD bless!
i don’t even go looking for gold or anything, but this is so interesting to me
You and Nate the Hoof Guy are the best
jeff i am not a gold prospecter but love watching your videos love to do that if i lived in wright area
thanks James
Your knowledge and enthusiasm is great Jeff. Everytime i watch you i want to get outthere. You always explain what your doing so simply. Kudos to you!!
🔥⚒️🇺🇲💯🔥
I have to drive an hour or so to even have a chance at finding gold. "Channeled Scablands" don't have any "fun" rocks unless you can get below a mile or two of basalt. I know a few have found traces of placer in some of the coulees, but rarely more than a few flecks. Cross the Columbia going North, and BAM! chance of finding just about any mineral or gemstone. Hour and a half north (if the ferry is running and you don't have to drive around) is Republic, which historically is a hot spot, and has a new big mine project started back up now. A hop skip and jump further and you run into Dan Hurd territory.
First key
-If you’re in a gold producing district.
If not, you’re out of luck.
And, I’m out of luck.
Dang it!
Wow. So cool. I can’t hardly watch your videos Jeff. I get too excited

TONY !!!!!!! thanks my brother from another mother ...... exactly ...very well said .... always our pleasure my brother and say to everyone out there in the land of Oz for us and to Wendy too...Cheers.
Great video, Jeff. OK, spotted some gold in some of the quartz. In the second image, the gold looks crystalized, which made me think it formed in voids in the quartz. The flat pieces of placer likely eroded from the quartz as flakes and deposited in the loose matrix. I suspect it was found around the area where the quartz strata was.
Excellent tutorial Jeff !
Good info
Thanks
I love your videos! I'm getting gold fever.
And wow look at that cool rock @3:16. It looks like a face in profile.
Just love it Jeff .
I live In central N. C. When I was a young teen I watched George Massey and built a sluice . All I found was clay black sand and mical
.
Thanks Jeff

Yeehaw! Good morning Jeff&Lila and Slim of course! In michigan we are not allowed to dig into the bank.
good morning and tell them you are cleaning up the forest. Lol
Cheers
the first time i found gold was off brice cyn rd. i put some dirt in a 10" pan. ,swished it around. stopped swirling the water ,the little yellow specs did a perfect 90 dropped instantly. there can be gold in the sand. ,just fly poop but was gold. gold is were the gold is.
Is that gold from crevices 🤔👍💚💛❤️
I'm itching to get back to the gravel bank I'm finding flour gold in. My problem is I'm below the stream level and dirty waters coming in through the gravel and I can't see the bedrock below. I might just dig the trench out into the stream so the water clears itself and I can see better.
I know for sure there is worthwhile amounts of gold on some Irish rivers, i found some. Countess solid gold ancient artefacts in museums here suggest to me that there is big gold in forgotten about places.
I had a close shave with a bear in Piru creek. Black sand, maybe a speck of gold. Wasn’t supposed to be there no trespassing. That may be it for me. Too dangerous if alone in the wilderness.
The gold was looking rough and had quartz attached to it so I'm guessing it is from when you were digging in the river bank, approximately 6:43 in to the video. If it was from the river it would probably be smoother, maybe more like flakes, and wouldn't have as much quartz attached.
i live in placer county and found gold in my creek.🎉
You're Gonna Get Wet 👍💧. Hello and good day once again Jeff .
The quartz stringer by the schistos
rock.
So come on! Let’s go!
Can you do a video on what rocks and minerals and type of area to look for gold when metal detecting. Thanks Matthew 😊
Sure thing!
Elementry prospecting. In college. 101. I didn't have this. You young uns got Jeff. Too bad I can get in a delorean and hit 90 in front of city hall. 😂😂😂😂😂 I'll add. These lessons we didn't have. Alot of time wasted. If I could go back in time I'd save myself so much grief.
Excelente aventura amigo 🎉🎉🎉
muchas gracias
What about rivers that only fill when it rains but is completely dry when it doesnt rain.
😂 Xenomoph - Nice 👍 That's What I heard 😅 🐉
Showing Jeff showing is better than talking.😅
Fun stuff, Jeff. With my luck I would suck up a nugget with my homemade straw and accidentally swallow it. Then what do I do.
Umm, never mind.
hey you two.......hahaahahhhaahha then you could play the Nugget Challenge and pan that baby out
Already my pants blown clean of....haha....💥👖🎇great Jeff and Lila keep it up 👍😄
yep we saw them go by just now
I'm pretty sure that gold came from where you were digging into the iron oxide rich (red) material
"so c'mon let's go " :)
Can mica be found in the areas of gold or are they usually not found together?
It still was attached to Quarts so I think there was Quarts on the verticle bank.
You found it in the tributary’s!
Mhhh, cabins, Maybe there's gold out there!
😀
I'm needing doe, $$$....Lol! What's nice about nice? Squeezed granite? That's right! OK Jeff, you brought this heat wave out here into the Enchanted Valley, and left it! You betcha...🤣💪👍⛏️⚒️⚖️🤠
hahahahhaaaa
Jeff all these techniques you’ve been passing on. You should have been rich by now😂. Great stuff from u and Lila 😊
Thanks 👍
I'm guessing Nevada near winnemucca or goldfield
Nice video...but why are you frequently forgetting to bring along with you...some specific tools or equipment as part of the process to locate precious metals ?
Good advice, hey Jeff, there is a gold district not too far from me that is not very big, but for the last 100 + years, nobody has found the source. Any ideas.
yes we do
Are there gold producing districts in the US that have yet to be found?
Classifier??
We don't need no stinking classifier..😂😂
Left to my own devices tho, I just throw my dogs sticks 🤷♂️
Thanks for the info Jeff
Very interesting but NJ doesn't have any
Howdy Jeff
You should look at maps of Australia and pick the best spots
we can do that
California lol somewhere in the Sierra's lolol
Hello Jeffery, Somewhat off subject, unless, of course, you make that big gold find. Suppose you stake a claim and start excavating a small lode mine. Just you, your spouse, or maybe a partner. What do you need to know about the Feds like the Bureau of Mines? Reason I ask is that there was an explosion at a small mine near Foresthill and the Feds are already all over it. Kinda like monkey on banana. It being a holiday, they must be sniffing some fine money or just the chance to shut down the mine.
Good morning Jeff.
good morning
12:36 campfire
I’d of liked a Jedi finger edit personally 🤷♂️
Low pressure means high flow… Incase you didn’t know.
