You’re a MAGICIAN Pete! Your videos are addictive to watch! Excellent work and excellent filming and editing!
Thanks you. I can't take all the credit. It's a team effort.
Killa . This is great. the guys budget must be awesome.
Great video to watch
Yeah it is however it's still a long way from being finished. The last 10% takes 90% of the time.
Where have you been all my life??? You are so creative and imaginative. You are an artist!
This is why they say that after you leave school, get an apprenticeship and a good job. The trade that you learn will pay the bills for the rest of your life.
I love HOLDENS and especially older HOLDENS. I have the money to employ someone to work on an older HOLDEN as you have here however, I don't have the space to garage it. Maybe when I win Lotto I will. Keep up the good work mate. I'm off now to watch your next episode. DM.
Haha thanks David-Michael. When I left school I had no idea what to do. I did a lot of different trades which I guess accumulated to what I am doing now. Cheers for watching.
Its refreshing to see someone who can weld properly .There's to many videos on youtube of restorations of cars with questionable welds which you can clearly see daylight through. This is the way it should be done.
Thanks man. I had years of practice welding limousines together. Some of the longest welds anyone will do.
Finally a good Aussie channel with good builds
Thanks Scott. That means a lot🙏
I've never seen such creative work! Those A/C vents look factory!
Thanks mate. That's the look I was aiming for.
My first car in 1977 was a HR panel van. I loved that car. 🙏👍🇦🇺
Very cool. I would love a HR panel van. Getting hard to find one now.
Insane skills you have mate .. so much detail in making those air vents and electric windows and tail gate hinges and grille.. must be costing the owner alot of money for your time and effort to build this HR. Looks mad .. keep up the good work
Cheers Rod. Yeah there have been a lot of hours gone into this build.
from someone who fitted a 308 V8 into an EH in the early nineties with only fusion & arch welding practices, you absolutely take it to the next level... 👌
Thanks mate. It’s definitely a lot easier with mig and tig welding these days.
G'day from West Australia, 😉
As a fellow tradie with 40yrs trade life, and 3rd generation Automotive Engineer.
I take my hat off to you.
( Very old sign of respect, lost on today's world).
Thanks Steve. Much appreciated. The world is changing. I'm just glad I can share my skills and pass on what I have learnt through a platform like UA-cam.
@@ProShop1 Yes you Tube has been good for that!
In my case good for reminding me of what my true passion is.
Building custom car's. 😉🙂
Stuck with the hum drum stuff in the mean time.🙄😊

Just started to watch your videos, your standard of workmanship is very high 10/10, so good to see looking forward to viewing many more of what you do, thank you.
Cheers Dougy. Glad you enjoy it.
Awesome work mate 👌 loving these vids
Cheers Braden. I enjoy making them.
You are an absolutely incredible artist at what you do with such skill and craftsmanship. Attention to detail is second to none. Looking forward to the finished product. Well done on the amazing work you do.
Thanks Christopher. I think I'm more excited to see this finished than the owner.
Love the way you did the air vents, top stuff.
Thanks Matt. Glad you like them!
Amazing work best HR Ute I’ve ever seen perfection your one talented man
Thank you so much 😀
The centre bar on the HK looks very similar to the HR. Maybe you could try to see if it would work? Keep up the fine work.
Thanks for the tip. I'll have to try that.
Mate, I could watch your builds all day long. Your attention to detail and skills are outstanding. Thanks for posting these on UA-cam. Looking forward to more of your content.
Cheers bud. I'm really enjoying putting them out and the response is great. I'll keep them coming.
Another masterclass.
Cheers Jeffrey
Epic build.
Brilliant work
Thanks Matthew
Just watched all your videos. Really like your work. Videos are a nice length too - not too much faff but we get to see the detail. Awesome mate.
Thanks for the feedback. It means a lot.
Awesome work mate 🤙
Thanks Kim🙏
Absolute gem. Love ya work Pete.
Thanks for watching.
Bloody fantastic work ,well done , I used to own an HR Ute still kicking myself for not keeping it had utes since but none as good as her
Thanks Roger. They’re my favourite old ute too. I had an old XK Falcon I wish I never sold. Pretty sure everyone has a similar story.
Well done, looks sweet
Thank you! Cheers!
The way the grills were done back in the 1970's was to get a HD grill and fit it as they almost the same what you have done.
Deleting the blinkers on the HR was old school back in 1970's, we use to use the FRONT STONE TRAY LOWER VALANCE of the HD, Im not sure why he didnt just use a HD Grill.
Cool. Nice work. 👍
Cheers Dean
🤯🤯🤯Well done💯🍻🍻🍻
Exceptional metal work.
Cheers Trevor
Awesome work have you considered HD grille. The model before HR had no blinkers in the grille and that may work well for your build.
Yeah we looked into that option but decided to try this way instead
Wicked build
Cheers Daniel.
so rad man !!
Cheers Chris
Great work. I see you have a Magna Bend, what a marvelous piece of equipment, I still have my 1300, but once had a 2500 as well, used for copper and zinc roofing, they are priceless.
They are such a great little piece of machinery. I probably use it more than my panbrake. Thanks 🙏
@@ProShop1 I made up a number of different dia round bars welded to plates to make curved sections, had a number of people asking how it was done, a very clever machine.
awesome
Thanks
awesome video mate, you're a frickin genius
Thanks. Glad you liked it!
You sir are an artist !!
Thanks Jason🙏
Amazing work
This machine is a work of art
Thank you!
Amazing job
Thanks Cameron
Amazing work 👍👍
Thanks Steven
Just found your channel and have really enjoyed watching your build style ideas and skill , awesome stuff 👍
Cheers mate. I like your channel too. Glad to see some more Aussie builders on UA-cam.
@@ProShop1 thanks for watching mate , I will be doing some catching up on your videos for sure 👍
You have some mad skills brother! Just subbed, down in Melbourne 👍
Cheers . Thanks for the sub Will 🙏
Love it! Are you using silicon bronze tig filler rods?
Cheers. Yes I use silicon bronze on most of the panel work where I have to sand it smooth. A lot less heat goes into the panel.
@@ProShop1 good idea mate!
bloody awesome work mate, looks awesome. I have to tackle auto windows in my van soon, struggling to find a kit that will work as they are only 45mm think. love the aircon vents they look sick.
I'm pretty sure the universal kit I used would fit. The motor would be the biggest part and I don't think it was wider than 45mm.
Put Station Wagon taillights on it, the way it should have been built from the factory.
Awesome! Why don’t you use a HD grill?
We did think of it but the owner liked the idea of keeping the centre piece of the HR grill.
Love your work. I'm currently doing a build on a HR wagon and was considering doing the same with the front glass to make the doors look longer. With the changes to the hinge area are you able to retain the stock hinges? Also who is doing the glass for you?
Yes. I made it so I didn’t have to modify the hinges. I haven’t had the glass made yet so not sure who I’ll be using. I’ll keep you posted.
I like the full glass but maybe some mirrors in the corners like modern cars then you dont need that infill panel.
Is this the owner of the HR ute ? Stop changing things after he s finished.
The doors are done. !! 😅
That option was considered however we are just going with the standard mirrors.
😂🤣
Probably a stupid question… are you using bronze to tig with 🤔
Not a stupid question at all. I get asked all the time and yes it is silicon bronze. It might be time to do a video on it I think.
@@ProShop1 what gas are you using
@@pedromoralez7666 Straight argon
That's killer, just stumbled across your channel but have definitely subscribed. So glad to see the renders by Chris being used.
Thanks mate. Yeah Chris does some awesome work. His next one is coming soon.
@@ProShop1 legend, yeah he is a top bloke as well. So keen to see your channel updates
