Did you guys have to do any tunnel modification when you put the motor in? I brought the same kit and can't seem to get the box high enough to get the crossmember mount in.

It’s a real credit to you both…so much so..that you’ve inspired me at 45 to get my first car, a 72 Q Prem a facelift with a mix of the LSQ & Michael’s 253 HQ, and do a build keeping my 253 but EFI & rod shop front & rear goodies for the combo of stock skin & modern skeleton

You blokes have done more on this HQ in the time you’ve had it than what I’ve done with my HX in nearly twenty years of ownership. I’m a tad jealous.
Would love to do this on my HR, but it’s a much smaller bay and, by the looks, requires cutting into the firewall 😢
