The team and it’s balance is more important than any one player. If you are going to invert your right back ( Gusto), we should be playing someone in the ‘10’ who is more suited to moving and playing in the left channel ( Nkunku/ Felix). If you invert your left back ( Cucurella ) you play someone who is more suited to playing the ’10’ role more from the right channel ( Palmer ). We’ve seen Palmer playing more on the ‘left’ side of the 10 role recently and, in my opinion, been less effective than when Cucurella was inverting, enabling Palmer to occupy the right channel.
We are not asking the manager to drop Palmer, sub him in the 65/70th minute, give Felix opportunity to play. What does he need to do b4 he can play? So far in the cup games he has been excellent
I feel like the recent drop off is down to Maresca's stubbornness. I think the two teams for two competitions was a fine idea, but the fact of the matter is that you need different players for different matches. Teams don't always give us space to run in behind them, so Jackson won't always be effective. Some teams have quality midfielders that can deal with Palmer, so moving him out to the wing on occasion so he can drive in from the wings is a decent option. Sometimes, we need our fullbacks to stay wide and provide overlaps for our wings instead of inverting. The problem is that Maresca doesn't seem to want to experiment too much, which is a positive in that the team is sticking to a single plan and learning it more and more, but it also means that any team that knows how to counter our style of play will be fully prepared when they face us.
Sorry George you keep wanting to keep Jackson in the team, he needs to be benched, what if Nkunku is finally given a chance And scores a hatrick? Would you want him dropped?
I remember last season he and Jackson had some good link ups. This year he has also been playing decent, we should try our best to integrate him and Joa Felix in the premier league squad. Listen from what I understand with our new manager you have to play your way to be apart of the supposedly A team and I can’t count atleast 1 a team player that can give way for both Nkunku and Joa.
Listen mate the rumours will always happen. Remember we have many games and guess what the manager is managing the squad. Yes it would be nice to see Nkunku start in the EPL but it also would be nice to see Jackson and even Palmer to start in UECL see what I did there. Don't believe anything until you hear from the person directly.
There’s no point to debate Nkunku must be patient because he was injured for majority of last season so it’s not anyone’s fault that he can’t get into the team.. so if the team and Maresca can work hard and we get into the Champions league next season Nkunku must surely have good and quality game time
I’d really like to see us try a caicedo nkunku and palmer mid with palmer and nkunku being up there instead of gusto getting so far forward and sitting back more with caicedo. It’s probably a stupid idea but gusto doesn’t do much up there and if we had someone like nkunku in them spaces instead it would do a lot more. Palmer is pretty much free roam around everywhere so I don’t think it would be too overloaded
Interesting. As a Manchester United fan I have to say that whilst Mata wasn't a failure, he was not the player that he was for 2 seasons in Chelsea - not by quite a long way.
The coach can manage this; he can start Nkunku in some matches in premier league or have discussion with him according to his observations he find out that Nkunku does well when he comes from the bench but he should start him earlier not when there is nothing to play for like the match against Arsenal
What you talking about. It's his position. And ironically the exact same place that Enzo put him when he was at City and the reason he became the player he is. Or atleast according to Palmer.
I want to see below lineup in coming matches. Caicedo-lavia combo for high intense matches. If low block, nkunku upfront and felix in 10. Jackson Neto nkunku palmer Enzo caicedo Cucu levi fofana james Any GK
Maresca needs to start rotating our attack more, not the whole team, but 1 player every couple of games in the Prem. Hopefully he starts doing that when the Conference League league stage ends
Nkunku has been injured for almost 2 seasons and he cannot get back to his best form until now, he had his chance to prove himself while facing a decent opponent (Newcastle) in the Cabaro cup but he wasted lots of chances at that game. So, what's the excuse of being reluctant to be a part of the Conference league team?
Maybe bc he barely gets prem playing time, you’re bitching about Newcastle but we wouldn’t be 3rd if he didn’t win the Bournmouth game. Speaking this idiotically knowing his playing time is abysmal means you’re disingenuous.
@@SWAVOURKID yeah, with the same concept of yours, if not because Jackson's goals, we wouldn't be 3rd. Clearly Jackson has bigger tactical value than Nkk as a striker.

@@SWAVOURKID ya, im sure u look extraordinary intelligent! But u cannot c the true value of NJ in Enzo’s tactics. If not dropping Nj, who do u suggest to drop and replace with Nkk?
This might not be good stuff. He has played 3-5 minutes in end of games, let him have fair opportunity and play him for 2-3 games straight in opening and why not in palmers place, palmer has been total shit for few games
It's strange how he hasn't started Nkunku on the left. If Guiu starts performing I think he will have confidence to have him as back up for Jackson. Nkunku Palmer Neto link up is flipping dangerous IMO.
I massively hope Nkunku can get rotated in the Prem in the new year. I hope Enzo can find a spot for him in the team without it affected the defensive structure.
Maresca should try to change the system to fit nkunku jackson palmer together. Also I feel like jackson form may drop. And some matches pal.mer can be subbed off
If he leaves I don’t think it will be until next summer. I wouldn’t like to see him go but would understand if he did. His best position is behind a the number 9 and any game time he does get is number 9 so we aren’t really seeing the best of him either. He needs a bit of luck and more minutes to actually be given the chance to shine in the Prem for Chelsea.
Not about getting into the starting 11 but they SHOULD BE getting more minutes in the second half of most games to prove their credentials. They both didn't play 1 full season like Jackson and Palmer so it is on Maresca's to give them more ACTUAL minutes instead of putting them into the B team
Happy Birthday to Christopher Nkunku , i dont want him to leave but he has to do whats best for him and getting no starts in the prem isn't best for him.
The thing with the players in the B team, if we do get CL next season, those players will get even less playing time Yes they are doing really well in the Conference, Most of them wont play in the CL, there will be more players wanting to leave.
Enzo must reconsider certain players who deserve minutes in the first team I said palmer was injured, that left Enzo with two better options in Nkunku and Jao. I love palmer whole day long but sometimes palmer doesn't set up for big games bring Nkunku on simple.
It would have been easier if Enzo knows how to substitute well because even though Jackson is not performing well and even Cole Palmer but he still leave them on when you have players like unkunku and Felix are on the bench and for me that is not right in perspective
No we can't afford to lose Nkunku... removing Palmer in the 60th minute n putting him isn't a bad deal or starting Nkunku for Jackson and then but him back in the 70th minute... our gaffer should just stop being stubborn. If Nkunku goes to Manchester United then we are not winning any game against them..
i feel like nxt season it might be easier even with all these big names coming in because even if you don't play in the prem tht weekend, you'll probably get to play in the champions league. Except for the defense, the second string defense won't play in the champions league but all the attacking and midfield players can
I'd hate so much to see him leave, and I would absolutely be fuming if he goes to Manchester United. Hopefully, he'll have money minutes, so he can show what he is capable of. I think the best of his career could be here, if he only gets more opportunities.
For me ooo, the fault is with Enzo Merascer because if you look at Liverpool FC for instance, they have Gakpo and Nunes, Slot try to rotate them to keep them happy, if Jackson qualify for Nation's Cup, who will he use I guess is Christopher, try and give him some start in the premier league so he can as well prove himself and feel the trust of the manager because if Chelsea lose him, they will still go find another striker to support Jackson who might still face the same issue that Christopher is facing right now except he is an average or kids, if you want to win matches and trophy you must try and have world class players almost two in every position in my opinion
The disrespect that Enzo is showing some of our players like Nkunku by not giving them more time on the pitch in the PL is disgusting and I hate to say it but not giving our other attackers more minutes while stubbornly sticking with the likes of Sanchez and Madueke in the starting line up is how I start to hate watch my team hoping we lose and he changes his mind if it’s not working and I hate feeling this way
Maresca is showing his inexperience in coaching , why can't he give Nkunku 15, 20 or 25 minutes each match......... Sometimes , you can even start him, plays for 60minutes , then bring in Jackson for the remaining 30 minutes ..... Each of them will work harder to get better ....... What made Didier Drogba the best Chelsea striker for now , was bcos he never played as the only striker....... since he joined Chelsea There was Eidur Gufjohnsen, Hernan Crespo , Andre Shevchenko , Nicholas Anelka , Alvaro Morata , Diego Costa etc......he played with all these strikers It made him to work harder ......and he became the best among the rest. Nicholas Jackson is still too raw to be the only Chelsea striker (someone that can't perform without the influence of Cole Palmer behind him)....... Meanwhile , Christopher Nkunku is a confirmed finisher (a real fox in the box) . He absolutely deserves more game time ...... I will be very unhappy, if Chelsea sell him this January , bcos when the league becomes tougher by March/April......then you need someone like Nkunku in your team .
We all agree that Palmer is undroppable and he is great as the 10. But, damn, is it really impossible to just try out Nkunku as the 10 with Palmer back on the RW and Jackson as the 9?? Give it a go for a few games. Play your best players. Nkunku deserves more than 10-20 cameos.
When will we see Neto, Nkunku & Palmer start together? It’s a big blow or threat to lose and to a rival club United who will be rejuvenated under a new coach
Just watch Chelsea completely mess things up when things are going well, nkunku wants out Felix wants out, Josh is going, I'm not surprised though playing Jackson disasi ahead of them

The problem is that Maresca doesn't seem to want to experiment too much, which is a positive in that the team is sticking to a single plan and learning it more and more, but it also means that any team that knows how to counter our style of play will be fully prepared when they face us.
The truth of the matter is
In classical physics and general chemistry, matter is any substance that has mass and takes up space by having volume
Sorry George you keep wanting to keep Jackson in the team, he needs to be benched, what if Nkunku is finally given a chance And scores a hatrick? Would you want him dropped?
If he leaves us and goes to a prem team, we gonna regret it. If he goes smw else, I wouldn't mind coz when we get gyokeres, he ain't playing at all
Nkunku is a good player. He came to the Blues to play not to sit at the bench and get some minutes 3 minutes against Arsenal.
First from Uganda come on Chelsea.
There’s no point to debate Nkunku must be patient because he was injured for majority of last season so it’s not anyone’s fault that he can’t get into the team.. so if the team and Maresca can work hard and we get into the Champions league next season Nkunku must surely have good and quality game time
yes
If he's leaving fine. But if they sell him to united, i will get furious. Always strengthen rivals.
I saw it on my notifications and said but and I got exited
Interesting. As a Manchester United fan I have to say that whilst Mata wasn't a failure, he was not the player that he was for 2 seasons in Chelsea - not by quite a long way.
The coach can manage this; he can start Nkunku in some matches in premier league or have discussion with him according to his observations he find out that Nkunku does well when he comes from the bench but he should start him earlier not when there is nothing to play for like the match against Arsenal
We need to see nkunku cam and palmer right, even though its not Palmers best position he still balled out their last season so it's worth a shot.
What you talking about. It's his position. And ironically the exact same place that Enzo put him when he was at City and the reason he became the player he is. Or atleast according to Palmer.
There is no need to lose Nkunku especially to mu Maresca must gives him time in pl games
I want to see below lineup in coming matches. Caicedo-lavia combo for high intense matches. If low block, nkunku upfront and felix in 10.
Jackson
Neto nkunku palmer
Enzo caicedo
Cucu levi fofana james
Any GK
Maresca needs to start rotating our attack more, not the whole team, but 1 player every couple of games in the Prem. Hopefully he starts doing that when the Conference League league stage ends
If you guys gave nkunku the amount of time as jackson who do you think would be better?
It's just one game he didn't perform in and he is being played out of position I wish he leaves .
@@johnnvodka Why are mentioning Jackson, the topic is about not being able to properly utilize a top goal scorer. Obviously the less intelligent like to mention other things that blatantly go off topic bc their point was soundly defeated. Also no Jackson has never won us a game, he contributed in wins that’s much different than being the sole reason your team picked up points.
@@SWAVOURKID ya, im sure u look extraordinary intelligent! But u cannot c the true value of NJ in Enzo’s tactics. Scoring goals is important for strikers but not the only aspect to rate strikers, like holding the ball upfront and serving as a pivot which Nkk cannot do it based on his performance. If not dropping Nj, who do u suggest to drop and replace with Nkk?
I find it difficult to understand the reason why Maresca will not give him opportunities in the EPL
Full form Nkunk is a world beater. If he has to leave, I'll respect it. But PLEASE not to a Prem Team
Nkuku is one of the great players if trusted
Happy Birthday, Nkunku, please dont't keave.
Thoughts on Neto left, Felix 10, Palmer right and Jackson 9?
Can maresca play 2 no 10 together and 2 winger and 1 forward
4 defence ?
Which good numbers are for Jackson
Looking at the starting 11 I don't see any place for nkunku sadly
I think the only way we fit him in is in a two striker system or 3-4-3.
-Nkuku-Jackson-Palmer
Neto-Lavia-Caicedo--James
-Cucruella-Colwell-Fofana
Or
---------Jackson
----Nkuku
--------Palmer
----Enzo-Lavia-Caicedo
Cud switch Enzo and Lavia position
Except for the defense, the second string defense won't play in the champions league but all the attacking and midfield players can
Enzo has to start him against Leicester
Mmm. Bro is already 27 how? 😭😭
I don’t know why we do not get Cole back on the right and play Nkunku. Noni still has lots to learn. You play Jackson, Neto, Nkunku and Palmer
Nkunku is a very very good 10 amd good good goal scorer
What made Didier Drogba the best Chelsea striker for now , was bcos he never played as the only striker....... since he joined Chelsea
There was Eidur Gufjohnsen, Hernan Crespo , Andre Shevchenko , Nicholas Anelka , Alvaro Morata , Diego Costa etc......he played with all these strikers
It made him to work harder ......and he became the best among the rest.
Nkunku competition has made Jackson to improve
We keep saying put nico on the left and neto on the right let palmer and nkuku switch at the top try at least for few games "
Nkunku is a gun forward and has not been paid much respect by the manager.
Nkunku is a International player, top scorer in the bundesliga and should be playing most games in the PL
Just watch Chelsea completely mess things up when things are going well, nkunku wants out Felix wants out, Josh is going, I'm not surprised though playing Jackson disasi ahead of them
Why not play Palmer on the right, nkunku in the middle and neto on the left? with jackson on top
Maresca should alternate between Nkunku and Jackson and see how it plays out.
The Club wants Nkunku out because of his big wages. The best way to push out a player out is to shelve him or put him in a "B-Team"
Nkunku deserves to start in Champions league side. Don't want to see him stay in Prem and make us regret not using him.
This blows my mind completely. No need to sell him he should get more game time in the epl. Bench other players that aren’t performing really simple rotate as well. Try new things include him he getting goals and he offers something different from Jackson
Where is he going to play at Man U?
