Thank you for your information, as always.
We know pharmacies in Croatia that fill prescriptions with scripts from foreign countries. It seems to be uncommon, though.
When applying for temporary residency the most recent time we were approved within 90 days of our applications. Perhaps things are quicker in some regions than others. But the longer they take, the better! 😂
    Have a happy summer!

Wow, sounds like all the stars aligned for you, that's great! That does happen. I have felt that "ease" in some ways, that I know is atypical. I just appreciate it when it happens, and it softens the blow when it doesn't. Thank you for sharing your experience!

@ExpatinCroatia We actually asked MUP to please take their time as we are desperate to miss winters in Canada. But they were too efficient! Haha. But I believe part of the reason is that we applied in winter which is far less busy. The time before we encountered hurdle after hurdle so when things went smoothly this time we were waiting for something weird to happen. But it never did!

Thanks for this, we are in process with temp residency visa (from UK). I get your point about Schengen but Ireland isn’t in Schengen and actually we don’t even need a passport to go to Ireland (by ferry, the airlines need ID though). As a US citizen you could spend 90 days in Ireland then 90 days in Schengen just as we used to be able to do 90 days in Croatia then go to into Schengen

Hi Paul, You are right! I just assumed Croatia was in Schengen since the last time I went there, nobody checked my passport at all, either direction. I was shocked. I'm really glad to have this clarification. People were often using Croatia to Schengen-hop, and I suppose they can use Ireland that way. Thank you for the comment!

Hi there, I'm certain we can point you in the right direction at a minimum, but most likely, we can help you sort out the issue. We'll need a bit more information to best make a recommendation on what is possible. I've put a link for you in the description of this video. Look for the one labeled "personalized hands on assistance" and fill out the form on that page. We'll get back to you asap. Happy to help in any way that we can!
