As a support main, I love how you explain everything to a psychological level, It helps me make "Anti-Dive" strats and gives me a new perspective on how to think :)
Yeah saw this coming, yesterday I went 16/0 and 38/2 on panther by just saying "wait I'm going in the front, this literally never works out, just stop"
My panther had been improving. I wanted to spend some time in QP to get his basics flowing more smoothly. I might learn to play a couple tanks soon after I hit lord status in Panther and start ranked
Dont comment often but as a flank main in every hero shooter this is the most concise, simple to understand, bread n butter guide to what we do. Love it❤.
Just gotta say, same as others, your videos are very informative and useful. I feel like im actually learning something different to the norm. This is giving the game sense, to put the pieces together.
By the way, most of those concepts apply to any hero, not just dedicated flankers! Its always beneficial to be somewhere where enemy team isnt looking at the moment, allowing you to deal more damage and take less So even if you're playing someone like Mantis, you'll find yourself taking less damage and having more room to breathe if you dont stand in a line behind your tank but rather somewhere to the side
Great tips. My biggest mistakes is feeling too aggressive and not always going off angle, and with Panther you 100% need to fall back if you miss a dash.
I don’t play BP but as a support these videos are helpful. Understanding good positioning and resources trading is very important for team coordination.
Thanks man I never played dive in overwatch but picked up spiderman in this game and was a little confused about how to go about it. Figured out the off angle thing early on but timing definitely takes some getting used to.
Thank you for the tips! As a spider-man enjoyer i understood on my own that i need to engage from enemy's back and pressure heals or kill off snipers. But it wasn't always working... Sometimes i would destroy teams and get mvps and sometimes i would get cced and killed in seconds by the whole enemy's team. Now i get what's wrong - timing! It's a team game after all...
Thanks bro I just hit Plat on BP only and felt my engages and overall impact dropped significantly in Gold 1. Definitely need to be better timed with my teams but being a solo and BP means Im getting all the blame if not hard carrying ranked My biggest issue right now is when I come up against an actual duo or team of people, EX: I had a game where a mantis, punisher and Cloak no joke sitting as far back as possible for turrets and to focus me so no matter what I did I couldnt get 1 kill off either of those 3 while my team was losing 3v5 Do you just immediately ignore these engages or force the fights because you can keep multiple enemies focused on hard countering you?
I have a question. I play mostly Venom, I'm still fairly new to the game (only about 25 competitive matches), but from what I understand even though I am a tank my job is to dive the enemy backline and try to go for their healers/squishy dps players. does the first point in this video also apply to me? should I be going for off angles or should I try to stay with my team and "protect" them? (though I feel Venom doesn't really have tools for that, but still)
2:40 "Positive elixer trade". I understand it now
you got hog rider (panther) and they only got inferno tower (ult) always at least a one elixir trade
I had the exact same thought. I understand it now.
babe wake up, new karkat video just dropped
no honey im going back to sleep.

The level of quality on all of your videos is incredible. All so well made
Very nice just what I needed, I got the mechanics down to an understanding, and this type of stuff is what I needed since I never played OW

Damn really good video! very helpful, haven't thought about the specifics of why i fail my dives thanks for helping me improve!
Eloquently put. Extremely valuable explanation on diving
I used to play Black Panther but I got consumed by the brain rot of Iron Fist. Your videos brought me back into the light. Thank you Karkat.
your videos are so informative and well formatted, thank you for taking the time to create videos this good, and for making me a panther main

Clean and concise video man! Definitely helpful to watch things like this because it’s tough to remember everything sometimes

This is a great video thank you for explaining all this perfectly I am trying to become a Black Panther Main

love ur vids bro, made me way better at bp
Fuck yeah this video is short and simple perfect for my two braincells to comprehend as I dive into enemy backlines
Me watching this as a cap main XD, just looking for maximum distraction value
This is perfect thank you
concise and super helpful❤❤❤
Do you know where to find similar guide for other roles and archetypes e.g. Tank, support, snipe or turret character guides or concepts?
With your combos for black panther, do you throw your spear + dash + spear + dash + kick or do you throw your spear + dash + dash + kick?
Thanks bro I just hit Plat on BP only and felt my engages and overall impact dropped significantly in Gold 1.

My problem is if I come out the gate with a couple kills on panther the enemy duelists immediately switch to flying characters.
Thank you Karkat from Homestuck.
Karkat I want to play panther but my team keeps auto locking dps
