beautiful review.. what I really love about yamaha bikes are they are way more comfortable than any other brand, starting right from the old RD till this latest model, its truly a treat riding any yamaha in terms of comfort.
I've driven the fz25. Trust me it is good overall. The quality of plastics, engine and the feel of drive is excellent. It is very forgiving and will never punish you for your mistakes.

wow great review.....heroic....you are the first one who reviews fz25 i believe. desperately waiting for the review... thanks a lot... jUST a question... i want one word answer..plzzz apache200 or fz25....

Hrithik Chauhan Definitely FZ25...if you want lower maintenance, high quality and reliability...then don't even think of any other brands...I have Owned Yamaha R15(V1.0) from almost 6 years...and its still very good and looks like that bike will last 10 more years (LoL, seriously) , the quality of Yamaha is just mind blowing...!
Aryan _Tejwani true that! It's only practical to buy FZ25 in the price range pf 1.2 to 1.35 else it isn't worth it. 🤔. Dominar Non ABS will cost 1.5 on road.
YoUtUbE bElIeVeR If you want Superior Ride Quality, Comfort and decent Aftersale Service, Longevity and mileage than definitely go for the FZ25 without looking for any other competition out there in the segment.
Hey Buddy, congratulations for your new bike...don't listen to anyone here...go ahead and definitely buy it...! Yamaha really makes the best quality bikes...i own a Yamaha R15 (V1.0) which i bought it almost 6 year ago...now my younger brother uses it (i now have Duke 390😈😀)...and m telling you, the bike is still in its best condition...i ride like crazy...i red line RPMs in every gear...i really ride very hard...but my Yamaha...it just never gave me any problem to date...not a single problem till now...There's no vibrations in my bike even after riding so hard...if u maintain your bike properly, then u will never have any problem...! My friend owns a RS200 from 7-8 months and he's already complaining about the vibrations and he doesn't even ride fast ever...my another friend who owns Tvs Apache RTR 180 ABS from 1.2 years and he's already posted advertise on Olx to sell his bike...he's so fed up with Tvs, it's quality & service...! Don't listen to other people's opinion here, most of them are kids...they don't even own the bike yet and still peeing in there pants and wearing diapers...i was also like them when i was young...but after years and years of riding many bikes and gaining experiences...i know which bike is good and which is not...! And listen, Specs on the paper and Real life performance are two different things...! A high displacement(CC) bike is always a better choice...power doesn't matter when you are looking for a bike on which you want to cruise, commute to your work place, occasionally long trips if you want to ride properly and safely...a high displacement is a boon when you are riding in a hilly area or riding anywhere with pillion onboard...! Now Consider R15, it's the best bike you can ride only and only if you are alone...sit the pillion on back and half of the bike's performance is already lost...and especially if you are traveling uphill, the bike dies out, it always needs to be in 1st Gear to climb a hill, this is where the higher displacement(CC) plays a great role, my Duke 390 can climb any hill with pillion onboard even in 3rd or 4th Gear...! And Don't worry about the performance of FZ25, it will definitely smoke NS200 & RTR200 in any race...i can assure you that...! So unless you are not power hungry like me...you ride safely in city and highways, you can definitely go with FZ25...! And by the way, i Stay in Pimpri, Pune...😀...!
you must be proud < , even the big channels were late to their reviews , you are ultra fast recently , this will surely help you grow , timing does matter--------------------------------------------------------------------love your work man!
Is this a paid review or what... ? No cons .. you see no cons in a 250 cc bike producing a mere 20 ps of power ??? No slipper clutch , No liq cooling, no optional ABS .... You should make an unbiased review and mention these points also.
I don't know about the engine, but this review really is biased, paid, he really didn't point out any cons, like the front brakes are really not that effective.. etc
I think Bajaj Dominar is a far better deal at similar price range. Do you agree Dino? The video was excellent and man ...it's always great to watch new bike videos on your channel.
subjective. Brands are completely different. One is Japan, one is Indian, yamaha provides good parts but less power and bajaj offers more power with not so good parts. It's all about branding just like in phones.
Vijay Bhaskar nice dude were yu made in japan ?? bajaj has done an absolutely good work in dominar and why dont yu guys just appreciate it !! we are just downsizing our country !! country love only in national anthem at theaters... good 👏👏
Dhanush. Just because something is made in india doesn't mean it's good for example Celkon, Karbon are Indian too but we Love Samsung, Nokia brands. That said can you compare dominar in anyway to duke 390? No. And everything is subjective and everyone has their opinions. BTW KTM is not Japan and is still better, am not saying Bajaj is bad as well coz Bajaj sells in other countries under Kawasaki brand. The pulsars in other countries are known as Rousers but it doesn't change the fact that Yamaha, Honda and Suziki are the most known around the world coz of how they are and what they offer. You can also get a Chinese bike imported for under 80k that looks like Ninja 300, has ABS, liquid cooling and is 200 CC but are you? No and the reason is the quality and reliability.
Exactly. You can't compare 2 different bikes in different segment. It's kinda like comparing R125 to R15 and R125 cost the same as R15 but that doesn't make R125 bad and coz of the comparo Yamaha didn't release R125 in India.
Amongst the world top 3 motorcycles producers in world according to revenues Yamaha stands 2nd after Honda So more revenue , so more R&D. so more quality and refinement than Pulsar 200 NS.
200ns, rtr 200 better than this 20 ps shit. 250cc delivering 20ps is itself a negative. Update :: This performs better than what expected and is better than both the duke siblings the 200 and the 250.
Evolution : Machine to Man bro this is yahamah...and u know the leagcy of Yahamah. one of the best fule injection ever made in 150cc segment. fz 2.0 is a benchmark and most selling bike in 150cc segment. i know the power is less for fz25, but quality of refinement is way better than Ns 200 n rtr 200 and one more. both these bike doesn't have fule injection FI.
BikeLove with shiva rtr does have fuel injection.. Do some research before you state something bro and it comes equipped with abs n pirelli tyres and syill costs around 10k cheaper than this one and about the engine refinement.. Rtr200 is still better Admit it bro.. This bike is indeed overpriced
i know the bike is over priced, and 20 ps for a 250cc seems horrendous , but i think this bike is for mature riders. People gunning for top speed , should stay away from this. This is the ultimate premium commuter for Indian conditions for me. 40 Kmpl is awesome !!! The reliability that comes as standard with Yamaha engines and the ride quality of FZ is simply unparalleled . Duke, Pulsar or Apache simply isnt in the same league as the Japanese ones when it comes to engine refinement and reliability. And like i said, it needs a mature person to appreciate refinement over raw speed . This price tag with ABS would have been phenomenal.
Yugendran N samsung can never compete with xiaomi in price, so is the case with automobiles a product from global brand can never compete with home-grown brand of any country in terms of pricing.
When you ride Yamaha Bikes and Bajaj Bikes side by side you can surely feel difference Engine Refinement of Yamaha is far more superior than Bajaj. So for very good engine and good bike, I choose FZ25. Feel and Feedback is important to me. Still I don't the top speed of FZ25 and I have never done the test ride of FZ25.
I didn't mean to say that, what I mean Dino's did not talk much about cons, even he is reviewing as killer price tag. I am a great fan of him :). I have to decide between RTR 200 and FZ250, now confused.
Dino bhai......This is your forte......The overall review of a bike...Never ever do any comparison videos....Let the viewers take the necessary test ride armed with the knowledge they get from your videos and then decide the bike they should buy.....Great video as always.....
If this bike had 30ps with liquid cooling and ABS, and a better looking instrument cluster, it would have given other bikes in its class a run for their money.
Finally a proper review with all the details needed and explained in perfect way. I am using fz v2 for 3 years and want to buy this now. Has everything that one needs in a city but still I will wait for dominar 200 then make a final decision. I hope to c u review that too soon.
I will wait for the abs version of this. Once it's available ready to buy... They are telling it's under powered and over priced, not a vfm product.. ha haa.. They don't realize the name is YAMAHA from japan.. by the way no offense for Indian brands though...
Chirag Verma yes...have u looked at the instrument console of FZ...looks like some kid has designed it...imagine what would have been the reaction if Bajaj or TVS would have used something like that...ohh cheap plastic used by bajaj TVS...It doesn't feel like a premium bike to me
prasanth parameswaran If FZ 25 can deliver the mileage it promises to, then, I genuinely feel Duke 200 is in trouble. FZ is cheaper, offers more torque. Also, we hardly utilize the full power of bike.
Ankur Goel that's a hard guess bro..leave duke even ns which is cheaper than fz makes more sense and performance ..and more torque ? seriously can you even feel 2ps increase in torque ..i doubt that..and for the price you pay apache and ns 200 makes more sense ....the one who wants a performance ride definitely won't choose this...i like fz though 😊😊
Ankur Goel "hardly utilise full power of the bike" Does this look like a CPU to you? Your notion that not utilising full power = more mileage is wrong. The peak engine power is some where around 8k rpm. On the final gear that would be your typical rpm for cruising. Increasing the throttle after that results in drop of power and result in more fuel consumption. Also, the death of the duke 200 will be done by the duke250. Pretty cool that no other bike got to touch it and it will now be laid to rest by its own family.
I’m using FZ 25 since 2 years and the performance is very good and satisfied. Few bad things are there but u can compromise on those. Overall superb bike.
Mind your language dude...its shows ur character how you judge others ! You have the right to give a healthy criticism to any products you may have problem with but not in an "abusive" way !
Amit Kumar Well thats a healthy comment if you have enough sense of humour and thats what many feel and that is reason why his comment got more likes than your argument.
Hi Dino... Hope you can put up a comparo between the Fz 25 and RTR 200... Your points will help a lot of people out there confused between these two bikes a lot.
finally after a long time ,the video of fz25 is done .thank you sir ,you cleared most of doubts. the last doubt is which one to buy?my requirement 1)long engine life 2)smoother engine no need of mind boggling figures.my options 1)dominar 2)fz25 I already had test ride dominar but dissatisfied with quality of Bajaj but don't know the game of Yamaha even, suggest one please?
Before 2 months I was unaware of FZ25 being lunched. so I bought FZ V2 or else I would have bought this one... Really missed this one... Anyway High Five for Yamaha... among all bike I enjoy this most
Hello, Query 1 - Can clip-on handlebars of YAMAHA R15 (any version) be fitted on FZ25? Query 2 - Can transparent wind-shield piece of FAZER 25 be fitted on FZ25? Query 3- Can dual horns of FAZER 25 be fitted on FZ25? Thanks !!
Thanks to Shekar (the HYD Biker) for helping me capture the running shots.
Dino's Vault what would you suggest fz250 or 200ns?
Dino's Vault Nice review.. but can you please have a comparison video done for Yamaha FZ25 with the new KTM Duke 250.. Will help me decide then..
Ranjan Mitra yes I also can't decide between Duke 250 and this bike.
Aniruddh Saha go for yamaha if you want practicality and comfort
and go for duke if want raw power, styling, but compromised mileage
in my opinion you will crack more smiles on a duke than on fz25..
fz25 is more towards a everyday street bike and duke is a naked sport bike which you may ride on weekends
there is no comparison between DUKE 250 and FZ25, duke is a winner stylish and expensive with low mileage if you can afford the duke 250 and it's millage then go for it or else FZ25 is the bike you should buy
Dino, I have no words to say Thanks for this eagerly awaited first ride! Coming from you, this is a treat!

beautiful review.. what I really love about yamaha bikes are they are way more comfortable than any other brand, starting right from the old RD till this latest model, its truly a treat riding any yamaha in terms of comfort.
Thanks Dino to bring in the fastest review of Fz25 it really helps in understanding the model.
I've driven the fz25. Trust me it is good overall. The quality of plastics, engine and the feel of drive is excellent. It is very forgiving and will never punish you for your mistakes.
veda what's the milage bro
43kmpl
bought it giving me around 33 kmpl service centre guys were saying it will increase after first service
very comprehensive review with a no-non-sense approach! loved it!
I dont find it cheap. Looks expensive to me. But the build quality of FZ is far better from Pulsar or Apache. No doubt on that.
Jeferson Matamoros Araya and the mileage, durability too
So sexy byke

RAHUL DEV KHANNA why not other manufacturers offer their biker with similar specs under 1 lakh like the ns 200 and apache 200
Harsh Sharma ..just take a test ride and you ll get the difference....I have driven both the bikes that you have listed above...
+Harsh Sharma R15 is just 3k lesser than this...still u think is it overpriced??
I don't know about the engine, but this review really is biased, paid, he really didn't point out any cons, like the front brakes are really not that effective.. etc

welcome buddy, please share the video
fz25 or ns200 which one?
Shivam Pandey NS 200 is more powerful and 40 k cheaper.
Shivam Pandey fz25
Test ride both the bike choose the one you like.
If you need superior quality go with Yamaha FZ25 nothing can beat it, for this price.
SUPERIOR QUALITY REALLY??,,HAHA FUNNY YAMAHA FAN BOYS
Amongst the world top 3 motorcycles producers in world according to revenues
Yamaha stands 2nd after Honda
So more revenue , so more R&D.
so more quality and refinement than Pulsar 200 NS.
thanku Dino........was eagerly waiting for this
200ns, rtr 200 better than this 20 ps shit.
250cc delivering 20ps is itself a negative.
Update :: This performs better than what expected and is better than both the duke siblings the 200 and the 250.
Evolution : Machine to Man exactly it costs 30k more than those two!
20ps true but 20nm of torque which is more than the duke 200! if u r an engineer ull know torque is the more imp parameter n not HP
vignesh suresh and had you rode them both you would've understood how powerful and aggressive duke feels over this one
BikeLove with shiva rtr does have fuel injection.. Do some research before you state something bro and it comes equipped with abs n pirelli tyres and syill costs around 10k cheaper than this one and about the engine refinement.. Rtr200 is still better
Admit it bro.. This bike is indeed overpriced
Love watching your reviews.
Hi Dino, Are they any Maxi Scooter or Cruisers about to launch in India in the next 2 to 3 months
dino sir sounds like dinosaur if put together, just kidding , hahaha
i know the bike is over priced, and 20 ps for a 250cc seems horrendous , but i think this bike is for mature riders. This price tag with ABS would have been phenomenal.
monsur habib Yamaha itself said they are targeting age group b/w 20-30
at 1:30 dino telling everyone that it diesnt have ABS
😂😂
:D :D :D
Arun Antony 😂😂
dino sir u rock it again by bringing this much awaited video of the fz 25 as fz is a superb bike
Killer Price tag?? Really Dino bro?? - Disappointed Yamaha fan here..
Yugendran N for the quality it's killer price
FZ25 has a top speed of 147kmph I just watched another video of it
+GeaS Electronic Studio Associato can you tell me about acceleration of fz25 from 0-60 & 0-100
Amazing detailed review buddy...keep up the good work👍
Killer Price tag?? Sometimes I feel Dino also do some paid review as others.
True
If it had 30ps would have been way costlier atleast 3lac ~
Finally a proper review with all the details needed and explained in perfect way.
I am using fz v2 for 3 years and want to buy this now. Has everything that one needs in a city but still I will wait for dominar 200 then make a final decision.
I hope to c u review that too soon.
I will wait for the abs version of this. Once it's available ready to buy... They are telling it's under powered and over priced, not a vfm product.. ha haa.. They don't realize the name is YAMAHA from japan.. by the way no offense for Indian brands though...
yaaah!! most awaiting video in UA-cam and that too from Dino's vault
still no gear indicator dammit
Shreyas Shivdikar Bhai gixxer me bhi 5 speed gearbox hai but gear indicator to hai na .aur price isse kam bhi hai.
You can add it customly
Its 5 gears and you can't figure out In which gear you are driving? Lol xD
Exhaust sound is enough to judge which gear you are in, what do you need gear indicator for ?
Brilliant review. No frills, very functional. Cheers Dino!
Yes Yamaha😁😁😁😁😁😁
sir thanks for making such a great video
but i want to ask you that which one is to buy between Pulsar NS200 and fz25 now???
im a city rider
Yash Dubey 200ns that too in red and grey.
Dominor is far better than this at near same prices... No offence for yamaha but its too costly..
Chirag Verma yes...have u looked at the instrument console of FZ...looks like some kid has designed it...imagine what would have been the reaction if Bajaj or TVS would have used something like that...ohh cheap plastic used by bajaj TVS...It doesn't feel like a premium bike to me
Srijith Ramachandran yes yamaha is providing less features at high prices
That is true. But this bike appeals to the indian youth mentality who looks for mileage along with power.
Chirag Verma quality?
Aman Kumar youth wants safety first for nearly 1.40 lakhs no abs for 250cc bike think yourself again bro
Great job Dino.... First to ride the FZ25.
43kmpl?! damn thats mind blowing efficiency 😱
debashish nair the fzs version 2 gives you 50+
debashish nair
who said
ns has only 38kmpl of maximum
Hi Dino,
Thanks for your review. It was an extensive one and useful. Thanks once again for your efforts.
awesome 👌👌
nice review... awesome music...
if this had abs even as an option, I would be running to the show room right now.
Bye bye Duke 200
DUKE 200 PRODUCES MORE POWER AND HAS MORE SUPERIOR TECH THAN THIS ...ATLEAST A LIQUID COOLED ENGINE SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE ..
debashish nair Incorrect comparison. Difference of 50k between them.
prasanth parameswaran If FZ 25 can deliver the mileage it promises to, then, I genuinely feel Duke 200 is in trouble.
Ankur Goel "hardly utilise full power of the bike"
Does this look like a CPU to you? Your notion that not utilising full power = more mileage is wrong.
The peak engine power is some where around 8k rpm. On the final gear that would be your typical rpm for cruising. Increasing the throttle after that results in drop of power and result in more fuel consumption.
Also, the death of the duke 200 will be done by the duke250. Pretty cool that no other bike got to touch it and it will now be laid to rest by its own family.
Review with precise facts and no dramas ! subscribed!
Seems copied version of apache rtr 200
it's not.. it looks more like Mt-03. kinda close to duke from blurred perspective but not rtr.
Ravi pandey yea..front end copy from BMW g310r and rear end copy from Apache 200
Sam George Bush
bullshit....
suckers it's yamaha!...
Vijay Bhaskar
rtr 200 lol...
Ur nuts...
rtr don't even come like up to 50 percent of this bikes looks...
I said NOT RTR... Do you even read? -_-
I’m using FZ 25 since 2 years and the performance is very good and satisfied. Few bad things are there but u can compromise on those. Overall superb bike.
look like old FZ got pregnant (gangbang) by the current breed of bikes like NS, RTR KTM 😂😂😂
Srijith Ramachandran absolutely, the side profile looks similar to the fz except for those additions
Srijith Ramachandran dumb fanboy!
Srijith Ramachandran Nope It's boyfriend of FZ V 2.0
its an awesome bike dino bhai !!! today took a test ride of it ! super video!
Abe Taklee
😂😂😂
Nice review man. Keep it up !
eagerly waited for this review. nice one sir
First FZ25 Coverage. Kudos Dino Bro ;)
Hi Dino... Hope you can put up a comparo between the Fz 25 and RTR 200... Your points will help a lot of people out there confused between these two bikes a lot.
very happy with the review sir .... keep up the good job ... 👍
looking forward for Gixxer 2017 update review😊
have been waiting for this review. thank you👍
1st to review this if I'm not wrong, congrats bro 👍
finally after a long time ,the video of fz25 is done .thank you sir ,you cleared most of doubts.
the last doubt is which one to buy?my requirement 1)long engine life 2)smoother engine
no need of mind boggling figures.my options 1)dominar 2)fz25
I already had test ride dominar but dissatisfied with quality of Bajaj but don't know the game of Yamaha even, suggest one please?
Before 2 months I was unaware of FZ25 being lunched. so I bought FZ V2 or else I would have bought this one... Really missed this one... Anyway High Five for Yamaha... among all bike I enjoy this most
Was waiting for this one, awesome presentation like always 👍🏽
nice review how is the riding position can it be made more comfortable by adjustment of the handle
Hello,
Query 1 - Can clip-on handlebars of YAMAHA R15 (any version) be fitted on FZ25?
Query 2 - Can transparent wind-shield piece of FAZER 25 be fitted on FZ25?
Query 3- Can dual horns of FAZER 25 be fitted on FZ25?
Thanks !!
Really Dino, this bike is just looks like a beast ready to unleash. As ever, I do really like this review video of yours. 👍👍👍👍👍
