By the way: the Feria del Caballo takes place in May every year, not in October as we said it in the report. Sorry for this mistake! And let us know if you have any crazy festivals in your country?
There are plenty of music festivals like Lollapalooza and Riot Fest in Chicago and SummerFest in Milwaukee. However, there is nothing in the USA as cool as the festivals Hannah had mentioned! Danke! Prost! 🍻 🍋
Thanks, Dear so we come to know about it. Europe culture festival and want to know more make more video. , before that, I mostly know about Asia. Only need more videos, Hannah 💓
@@dweuromaxx Maybe the Cannstadter Wasn. But thats also going more commercial than traditionel. But alot of southern citys and smaller towns doing such feasts.
Just like the Hungarians and Swiss, the german (Northern-) Fresians have a tradition called "Biike" ("Biikebrennen"), where village-comunities, groups, families and organizations light big fires on 21st of February to drive away the winter and welcome spring. Some fires also have a puppet on top or come with another addition. Also there are culinary traditions for social celebrations. It's not fancy, it's not commercial, but for some it's more important and nicer than a christmas-market ;)
Midsummer is celebrated on Saint John's Eve in Alsace with a bonfire night. The village of Soultzbach-les-Bains calls the bonfire Johànisfirla, quite a spectacle.

Interesting. But I'll have Las Palmas de Gran Canaria's Carnival 😉👌🏻
As a German I think the Oktoberfest is totally overrated and a tourist trap.
Which other German festival would you recommend instead?

@@dweuromaxx already covered by DW but Rottweil’s annual ‘Fasnet’ left a lasting impression on me.

Steinholding? Beer-stein is more an american word, than a german one. Better call it "Krug" = mug.
