Hello West Coast, the action was pretty good after plant on the west side trail - the east beach was holding fish as well, as long as the water stays cool should be good until end of April👍🎣👊

That's a big lake and you just proved there's lots of very, very nice HOLD-OVER (non-broom tailed recent stocked fish) fish to be caught. If you just range out from the parking area.

Hello Ron, the lake was productive last week - DFG’s and lassens all biting I missed a few as well, yeah I usually do not fish near the plant area, like to get out and check other areas. Just fun catching them on the UL rod, thanks for visiting👊🎣👍

Hello Drg, last week was pretty good over at DV, you need to head over there, I give it one more good month until the water gets too warm and the trout go deep. If they pant again this week and we get that cooler weather this weekend it should be good. Thanks for stopping by👊🎣👍

Are the dfgs usaly that cloce to shore

Hello Gabriel, if you go one or two days after plant they usually are - plus the lassens are there one or two days after planting as well. I like to go early when the shade is still on the water, but sometimes they are shallow shade or no shade, thanks for stopping by🎣👊👍

Good luck they planted 1000lbs of lassens on Wednesday and some DFG’s on Thursday not sure how much🎣👊👍
