Beautiful boat!! Your story sounds similar to ours in that we were boaters for about 25 years (down in the Holland River area of Lake Simcoe). About 5 years ago we decided to sell our 285 Four Winns. My work schedule meant many trips away from home so the boat was often seldom used and just sitting at the marina. We always felt that when we retired we would get back to boating. Well that time has arrived but we are now a little unsure if we want to invest all of the time and resources (of course including the cost) and get back in. I'm more keen than my wife to return but I feel we both totally need to be on the same page to ensure it all works out well. You've got me thinking though that maybe I need to ramp up the sales job lol.
    Thanks for sharing
    Kevin

Thanks for your comment and for your interest in the channel. The return to boating in this case was led by my wife. You are absolutely right, it has to a team decision. We are definitely pursuing a calmer approach this time. Lake Simcoe, the Trent , keeping it fairly local so far. Our last boat was in Georgian Bay which is a whole different style of boating. I wish you all the best with your retirement whatever way your boating decision goes. As you can see by our channel we are up to all kinds of stuff. We have been retired for 10 years and loving every day of it. 👍🇨🇦

With our last boat (Carver 350 Mariner) we were up in Georgian Bay. We are enjoying the Simcoe Trent boating especially from Couchiching to Port Severn. We have twin 7.4’s and let just say she is a thirsty girl if you want to open them up… 😜. Thanks for your comment and your interest in the channel. 👍🇨🇦

How about learning to spell before posting videos. It's " Burleigh Falls "!
