- I head back over to Italy to race one of the coolest stand alone events of the year, Fastcross. And this time I'll be competing against the 450 class on a Stark Future Varg Electric Dirtbike.
It wouldn’t be a Euro race without “Sandstorm” by Darude lol
Opening frames sounded like a NatGeo doco, I was all in on it.

75% power limit. ~60hp

Love my varg, one bike all night? Do you swap batteries or you were able to fast charge enough inbetween?
The mechanics did a battery swap before the main, because I went to the LCQ and didn’t have time to charge. The stark mechanics did it in under 5 minutes, I was blown away.
Did you turn up the HP for the main?
What kind of restrictions did they put on the Varg? Do you think you would have placed better if there were no restrictions for you?
Probably power. The varg at full power would smoke the other bikes if there’s enough grip for it to hook up.
Looked like they stopped him at 50hp... or less
I believe the 450 class race mode is 60hp
After watching hi g this I made my mind up yz 450 or varg YZ all the way now you wound off won kept getting passed same place need more vlogs

9.26.24 Should have allowed for a few more hp for the Varg. Should at least be able to get a decent start. The gas bikes pulled the Varg on the start. LCQ got a good start. Should have a power to weight ratio on the power restriction for the Varg. Nice finish 5th place.

Dude, what a sick ride. I was honestly surprised those damn Yammies seemed a bit quicker than the Varg. Great job though. You just got faster as the night wore on and against som huge names on factory equipment!! 👍👍

I can't even race the senior 50+ class in Wisconsin because the AMA banned ebikes. Must be nice to be able to race.

Great race!! Love my Stark. Can you comment on your HP settings? Seems like you were having more trouble getting over triple step up compared to 450s. Makes me think you were less than 48hp. Maybe 44 or something? Are you "factory" enough for Stark to build you a smaller, lighter battery that has less range for the shorter motos?

What the heck is up with the stark in the whoops. looks like it pulls power. They must have had you limited on a lower power level. No way that was 80hp.

I think that’s why they limited the power otherwise no doubt he would have easily holeshot every race (with a good jump).
