At home on my natural terain hardpack track, on a 48 hp map, I easily get an hour and a half out of it till its down to about 20%. At another commercial track I sometimes ride, that is basically half tilled sandy loam and the other half concrete hard clay wih black rubber marks all over it and a lot of big floaty jumps, I recently did 2 x 20 min motos and still had 43 % battery left. Battery range depends on a lot of factors. I love the varg and my other bikes are gathering cob webs
@philiprourke7732 that's awesome! I'm glad you like it, and thanks for the detailed info! If I had a few back yard tracks I would have one myself! But I live in the city so that dream is dead. I mostly ride track but occasionally I like to hit the trails so an ebike wouldn't work for me. I guess if I brought a generator to the track it might work.. how long would it take for a portable generator to charge it up for another moto? Or maybe I could let my trucks altinator charge it up with a DC-DC charger. Hmm now you got me thinking 🤔
@@DOO718 I only have a 2..2 kv inverter generator, a cheap one and not very powerful, but I take it to the track with me now because Ive only been riding the Varg lately. It can only charge the varg at 4 amps. The charge rate is adjustable in the app between 2 and 10 amps, with 10amps obvioubeing a faster charge. But at 4 amps charging from my little generator I go ride for 15 to 17 mins with a full battery on the deep lam track, come back with about 71% battery, put it on the gen until mynext sessin is up and thats about 50 mins or so and its back up to around 93% go out and do it again...iff I keep doing that I get about 4 sessins in and Im done and the battery is still in the 60% range..so I really dont need to do that..could probably get my 4 sessions in for the day with one charge of about 50 mins duration. At that other track I mentioned, I would probably get an hourofriding time and Id be done without needing to charge through the day..as I saud , everyones milage will vary. I got a test ride on a Varg at my local heavy loam track maybe 6 months b4 mine arrived. It was set at 52 hp, I rode for 14 mins and used 37% battery, was thinking range was likely gonna be an issue for me at this track..Im a track worker there and ride there pretty much every time its open. Just b4 my bike arrived, stark announced an update that they were claiming was gonna add an extra 10 to 15 % battery range on average. When my bike came, I installed the update b4 riding it , so apart from that 1 test on the demo bike, I have no base of reference. But...I remember I used 37% in 14 mins at 52 hp..I made a note of that. On that same track, Im using around 30% in about 16 mins at 55 hp and running a much faster pace that it was possible for me to do on that quick demo test. So it does seem that it does last longerafter that update. This weekend Im racing it for the first time in mx1 c class..3 x 15 min + 1 motos , I will be locked in at 60hp in the race mode on the app....its a hard pack track after the first round of motos. I will take my generator and put it on charge after moto 1 , then see what its got left after moto 2, probably wont need any extra charge..I guess I will find out
Interesting video, he is obviously a very good rider. I think that good riders are closer in speed between a varg and their combustion bike than slow riders are. The Varg is so much easier to ride than other bikes and it makes less skilled riders faster, sometimes a lot faster. I am exactly that rider..I feel more in control on the varg and ride with much better body position and stand more, because I don't have to use my clumsy feet for anything, I have the hand brake and that works so much better for je than I can even describe. Funnily enough, as well as my Varg, I also have a KTM 450sxf, bought it brand new about 2 months b4 my Varg arrived, thinking I would just enjoy having another differnt bike and I haven't had a 450 for some time now. I also have a KTM 300sx, a YZ 250 a YZ 125.actually 2 of them...a 2013 YZ 250f and a fully built and set up KTM super mini. I have st8ll not ridden the new 450, in fact Ive never even started it. I mainly ride 2 sessions on my ktm 300 then 2 on my Varg, but I just can't do it anymore, I have to force myself to ride the ktm and its just not fun! The problem is that I can plant the balls of my feet on the pegs, toies pointed in and correct body position on the Varg and do it easily! I just can't do that on my 300, shifting and braking are a nightmare now unless I just give up on ever trying to stay on my toes and just ride on my arches all the time...but the Varg has really woken me up to how bad that is. Im too old to be bothered putting the work to make my feet woork the way good riders do these days..it's just so much easier to just ride the Varg and enjoy the benefits of no shifting and no foot brake

I will take my generator and put it on charge after moto 1 , then see what its got left after moto 2, probably wont need any extra charge..I guess I will find out
stark hella good. ktm hella good
Trabas❤❤❤
And when you’re 70 and have no feeling in your feet….. you buy a Stark and keep on MXing!
@@larryhanes8527 yeah exactly...I will be 60 in a little over a year, and this bike will certainly keep me out there on the track having fun for years to come. My ankles are rubbish...this bike negates the problem in avery big way
@@philiprourke7732check out the ankle saver foot pegs. Two torn Achilles tendons pushing me to try them.

Electric for the soul, take a ride! ☝ 4f for racing!👍👊
10,099 is it worth it I guess if you have the money to waste lol
Çok iyi makina KTM
Very preciese

Don't ride 40hp, use 80 all da way.
Does revving the electric motor like that make a difference when he is jumping? Think super cross or Moto will make it if they all went electric? 😂
it makes the bike flip in air if you blip the throttle
Straight vs gay

Electric sux, period.
They suck or you just can’t afford it?
Jk i don’t see why anyone would want to ride a motocross bike that doesn’t have the 2stroke smell filling the stadium or the thumping of the 4 strokes. Lol imagine going to a super cross with electric bikes just all quiet
Facts are they preform better
It really depends on what kinda riding u wanna do
@@biggestbudu5804you wrong
Cuz you can’t afford it
Now go REFUEL and tell me how FAST the electric is HAHAHA ( I have a Zero FX and 40 minutes riding is not worth 8 hours charging)
