Sounds like you had a dealership issue. It's why they're called stealerships. I needed a new powertrain & had it shipped to me. I do the work. I ain't letting no fool at a dealership touch my bike.
Yeah definitely dealership issue, at least I learned my lesson from this I'll be doing my own work from here on out, which I should have just done the first time.
My stark terminated in my garage 2nd ride the battery and central power unit exploded when I pressed the red power button it was spooky ! I have always wrenched on my bikes and always will, Stark was fantastic with getting me all the new replacement parts in an amazingly short period of time ! I will say that the rebuild was very interesting and kinda tricky but after going through the process actually it’s an easy bike to work on !
Yeah the bike are pretty simple, it was my dumb mistake bringing it to the dealership. But I learned my lesson lol im in need of a waterpump now so I'm in the mix of contacting them for that. Unfortunately I've had bad luck with the bike, but at least they back it!

I’ve been interested in buying a Stark Varg as I rode one for a demo and thought it was cool, but worried about the maintenance and having to become an electrician just to know how to work on the bike. They are fun bikes and I love it, you may not even have issues when you get yours, but at least stark will send you what ever you need for it with the 2 year warranty!
They gave me a shipping lable to return it, and I asked stark to have FedEx come get it, but I haven't heard anything yet 🤷 they randomly showed up at my house a few days after I got the new battery to pick up the old one, but at that point I didn't even have the return label
My stark died after two rides and less than 10 hours. It won't even power on. I haven't even made a payment on it yet. man I love the bike but all these problems are starting to make me worried.
Yeah that sucks hopefully they can diagnose your issue fast. Luckily the bikes have a 2 year warranty, I'm hoping I don't have issues after this I've basically had everything replaced lol

Yeah you right, stark really should be make something to diagnose it better. I think it would be less expensive in the long run instead of rebuilding half the bike!
took me 5 months to get my varg fixed at the dealership. they too have dropped all dealings with stark. this is in the front range of CO area. The other front range of CO dealer that supports stark has also dropped support. So it is not just your dealer. Others are doing the same thing. Something strange is going on with stark and dealers. beware.
Wow that's interesting, I'm wondering what the issue is, because the Stark support directly with me ahs been great. Not sure if I'm missing something between the dealership and Stark but they sent me all the emails and I didn't see any red flags
@@redwolfracing the owner of one dealer filled me on why they dropped support. I am not comfortable putting it online without additional evidence. I eventually got stark to send me emails to/from the dealer that was working on my bike to me, but this was after that dealer fired the service manager(due to many issues, not just mine) and I was quite fed up with the whole situation. I missed my whole summer of riding the varg, but did get a glorious 49.5 miles on the bike. haha. loved it. hoping to get a ride in tomorrow. I really really want stark to survive as a viable option.

Its good to know whats going on. Califreamia is throwing monkey wrenches in importing here. No dealers here want to deal with it. My closes dealer is either Nevada or Oregon. To order straight from Stark, it will cost close to 17000.00 maybe more. I'm up in the air with my deposit?
They are pretty simple bikes to work on, I made the mistake of bringing it to the dealership to have them work on it. Stark will send to what ever you need if something breaks too, 2 year warranty. I love this bike, just wish it wasn't broke for so long. Dang $17,000!?
People are selling these bikes, but they don’t even know how to work with them, also; never leave your bikes sitting for weeks at a dealership waiting on parts, if you have to wait; leave your bike at home and bring it to the dealership when the parts arrive. To many crazy stories about this, enough is enough with these bad dealerships.
Yea, so obviously like I said in the video, stark figured out the diagnosis of my bike within a few days and the dealership didn't order the parts, that's why my bike was just sitting there. They used other bikes in the dealership to diagnose the issue, and then didn't order parts, so my bike was left sitting, I'm not driving an hour+ to pick my bike up when they're supposed to be "working" on my bike. I didn't know they didn't order parts untill I called and kept bugging them. If you watch the whole video it explains my situation, the dealership fucked me over for weeks, when I thought they were fixing my bike. The bikes are actually pretty simple to work on, and I made the mistake of bringing it to the dealership
@ I watched the whole video, and I’m with you 100% but I’m talking base on personal experience with multiple dealers not only here in USA but also overseas, I’ve been in the motorcycle game for over 30 years and I’ve seen a lot of these shady dealers screwing good people left and right. So I learned the hard way, nowadays I fix all my bikes myself, cause unfortunately there are very few honest dealership around. Good luck with the Bike, it is a nice one!👍

@ I’m getting one of the new Starg dual sport so I can make a supermoto with it, I have a CRF450 RL Supermoto right now and I love it, it’s complicated here in Florida to make a dirt bike street legal, so I rather get a factory street legal one to turn it into a Supermoto 👍
internal combustion engines rule , electric , water and lithium batteries ,,, tech isn't quite there yet. if everything isn't plug n play there will be very few dealers because there not et techs . stator on motor probably fried. bummer hope it works out.
Dealerships are soo annoying, shady, and lazy sometimes. Wouldn't have blamed you if you called them out by name. Refusing to do business with Stark in the future when the email from Stark CLEARLY stated that they would be reimbursed?! You had to wait weeks because the dealership employees don't know how to read an email?? Ridiculous. Stark could use a better diagnostic tool/system that's more accurate but to be fair their customer service is pretty solid. Really nice people from what I hear. Hope you make the best out of what's left of the beautiful fall season & enjoy your time riding!

My dealer has them reduced reduced by nearly 2k to move em,at first he couldn't keep em in stock, now they are just sitting, the EV market is doomed imho
Yeah I noticed they prices have went down a lot, I imagine Stark just wanted to make soem profit at first then lower the prices, but yeah same with new england, they were moving pretty fast

Sounds like your dealer ship is stupid..... We have oure straks 2 years now and support from Stark and our dealer are super! We had problems with motors (2 time) batterys (4 total), vcu,, fan and docking station, even rear wheel We got everything under warranty and some we replaced by our selves and some by oure dealer Resa racing. Super service so far. Warranty stops after 2 years from purchase.

Under most brands warranties, the warranty period doesn't reset when you put in a new part. Two years is likely two years from initial activation.
Yeah I hear that, sometimes they warranty parts but I doubt it. Would be nice though!

Yeah definitely wonder why it went so early into having the bikes. Mines got 15 hrs now. But other peopel have 40+ woth no issues at all
I almost bought a stark , but stayed away because everything is too new...they will get the bugs worked out then ill look again

Most dealerships are not going to have technicians competent in these type of machines.
It's actually a very simple bike to work on, I was fed up with working on it and made the dumb mistake to bring it to the dealership
I had issues with my ktm, dealer said sorry nothing we can do and ktm never responded once.
