    It’s not that bad. I have a Zappiti Nas. It’s been great to get my media digitized. In the future, I’m sure I will be able to point to the same files for playback on other devices. Easy. If not, I have all my discs. Nothing to be sad over. Thanks for the ride Zappiti.

    I mentioned that Zappiti may close down this March / April, I was told to shut up & stop spreading rumours, I also asked for advice about my Zappiti one 4k hdr se not playing ISO properly, I was advised to buy the Zappiti Signature, I don't have that sort of money to spend on a media player, so I found & bought an alternative the Dune HD Pro Vision 4K Solo, which I am happy with.

    100% agree with this. As I have said before on forums etc. A lot of legal jargon is involved here and the ripping of discs has a lot to do with this. Would not be surprised if Zidoo follow suit. When you need to download third party software and have a special player with a copyright decrypter then someone out there will try and cut you down. It’s all about the money and who gets it. Makes you wonder who the real hackers are. All these companies want to dominate the industry. So who suffers in the end? The customer. F…..ing greed pure a simple.

    I didn't know they were in trouble and it really blows I can't get into my collection anymore. I was hoping this was a temporary problem but it seems it is over I guess. Luckely I can still use the explorer app to browse my media

      That’s the problem with these types of companies, I used to use Vudu and now I’m 100% physical media unless I stream off the major platforms

    I like the New app and the new Player and My Old Zappitti works well with the new app. It's only $50 a year for the old players

    This sucks. Everything was working fine up until a few days ago. I thought the server was down temporarily....now I guess I will wait for the new app...or try to find another alternative. Sucks. Thank you for the heads up!

    Is there a resource to find out how to install a free software on my Zappiti 4K Pro HDR? I won't pay 50€/ year for the R_Volution. I wish they had a one-time lifetime fee.

    I use Nova Video Player with my Fire cude Gen 3 Hdmi into my av receiver , nova video player is Free

      These companies live on the edge. I wouldn’t expect any company that breaks the rules to last a long time.

    R_Volution will propose their R_Video for 5€/ month or 50€/year :( for Zappiti owner, and Dune HD, and maybe for other media.

    Good riddance to a dreadful company and service. I bought one of their higher end systems and a server and their customer service was awful with incredibly rude staff. It serves them right, customer service is king and they didn’t care about the people who bought their products.

      @@audioarkitekts a true understatement. I tried multiple times to address some obvious issues with their cloud based system only to be repeatedly ignored. Then I left a constructive criticism of the system using examples to illustrate my points only to be threatened by one of their staff and then the same member of staff then deleted my entire database of scraped metadata remotely and then wrote an asinine and utterly childish email gleefully laughing at a what they had done to a paying customer. I told them then that their days were numbered because they weren’t a serious company. I even wrote to one of the company bosses and he had a similar attitude. So it serves the scumbags right, unprofessional idiots!

    I HAVE A OPPO BLU RAY PLAYER AND IT PLAYS MY 14GB EXTERNAL DRIVE PLUGGED INTO ITS USB INPUT .. FOR ME I AM ONLY INTO 1080P MEDIA SO IT PLAYS ALL THE FILES I NEED ...
