We have found that some people have already contacted us to make the switch which is why we made this video. They are just tired of messing around and want the best so they can sit back, relax, and enjoy for years to come! It’s an investment but the UI alone is worth every penny. Ask our specialists about financing options! You can get started for as little as $333/month and we ship free nationwide. Thanks for watching!
Zappiti players will still work. They’re not becoming bricked. Secondly what are the Zappiti users in the UK, Australia, NZ etc going to do, seeing K-Scape is only an able to be legally sold and used in the USA ? We’ll still use our Zappiti players !
Honestly knowing we never really "own" the movies we keep in the cloud, I'm reluctant to invest in any of these types of digital sources. Physical 4k for life for me.
Pretty sure we covered this in the video so not sure why it keeps getting brought up. It's not IN the cloud. It's on a hard drive. Your purchase history is in the cloud. So by definition you own a physical copy of the movie since it resides on a physical HDD just as it resides on a plastic disc. And technically you don't own the movie. It isn't yours, you didn't make it. Studios are letting you borrow it. You know, if you want to get technical about it.
@@therealshanelee I hear you. But supposedly I "own" the copies on my Zappiti too, but if the Zappiti servers go down, the metadata gets messed up, etc. On KScape, your point only works if 1. I keep all the copies locally on hard disk and 2. KScape servers going dark wouldn't impact my access to the movies somehow. There's still a chance something gets messed up. What if I have to delete some movies because I run out of hard drive space? My only point is, a 4k blu ray disc that's sitting on my shelf is pretty hard to take away from me.
@@jebo4jc come on Jeremy. I made it a point to ask the very questions your asking again here. It’s in the video. As far as when Zappiti goes down. You’ll still have all the metadata in your collection available as long as you make an offline collection. You can’t add new metadata for new imported movies. Either way they’ll still be playable on the zappiti. If the Kscape servers were to go dark, the movies are still on the drive till you delete them. As for, there’s still a chance something gets messed up. Sure there’s things that can happen to an HDD just as there are things that can mess up a disc. Disc rot, scratches, fingerprints, you misplace it, kids, animals etc. I could go on. The other questions are answered in the video. A movie on an HDD whether on a Zappiti or Kscape on your shelf will be equally as hard to take away from you as it is a disc on your shelf. It’s also up to you to make sure you have the space for all your downloaded movies. I think the point is, is that folks will come at every angle to talk down on the product because of its cost. If it was $100 to get into I’m certain most home theater enthusiasts would be glad to drop their pile of discs. If I could get a Porsche for the same price as my Bronco I’d drop it in a heartbeat. @@therealshanelee I'm a bronco owner too! 2023 badsquatch. You're right I would buy a KScape for $100 in a heartbeat. I'm not trying to be argumentative. A disc on my shelf helps me sleep better at night considering all the weirdness with studios and movie rights, hardware issues, etc.
All Zappiti owners need to do is buy a Zidoo for a few hundred dollars, hook up your current library (NAS) and back in business. No need to spend 9-12k. Where the 10x better video and audio claim comes from is beyond me. That’s just ridiculous and not true if a fill disc rip.
Kaleidascape could make sooo much more money if they would sell their equipment at cost or a minimal profit because they would sell Soo many more movies the more ppl they have in their ecosystem
Ferrari could sell soooo many more cars if they priced them the same as Hondas. Rolex could sell soooo many more watches if they priced them the same as Timex. None of those brands are aiming at those demographics and they probably don't care because they're doing just fine.

Had to stop watching after he claimed Kaleidoscope was 10x the audio quality and 10x the video quality. It’s not. Its audio is often better than 4k blu ray because of larger file sizes. However the picture is almost the same.
Agree it is not 10X better and not 10X better then just Apple TV. Is it better maybe but not at that price. I looked into it and it is absurd the price and the storage is even more absurd and if it goes bankrupt well there goes your entire media.
But what happens when a studio pulls the license? If studio canal can have content removed from ps5 systems, guarantee that say Disney can have content removed from users' kaleidescape systems
Which is why you burn you own media and not just use a streaming service. Use Plex instead and buy the physical media. Use the digital codes for streaming if you want if they go down or go away you still have the DVD.
Pretty sure you would be screwed. Once the Kalediscape service dies, your out of luck for any movies not already downloaded. It’s a big risk for sure. The other risk being some studios no longer supporting the platform if they so choose.
this was nice of them, but they are not allowing the zappiti program to be used with the promotion they already have out with the Prime bundle deal. So you have to choose either the movie credits or the hardware discount. You cant have both. I think this was really cheesy tbh.
Hey Jordan! We understand. We wish we could offer both promos at the same time but we are thrilled to have some incentives to offer. Traditionally Kaleidescape is sold at full retail so these discounts are a big deal and help a lot of people out. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😁
@@Dreamediaav i get it, but it really hampers the folks wanting one. if you buy in at 8tb.. Why would you choose a $800 credit over a $1000 discount on hardware. Its currently a pointless program for anyone who wants to jump in at entry point.

R-Volution is the way to go... K-Scape is too expensive and there's no way to NOT have to re-buy your entire library. If there was a way to "bit for bit" rip your own library (Like Zappiti or R-Volution did) AND had an option to buy, THEN K-Scape would be worth it. Until then, It's not worth the Money
Zappiti clients are NOT about to pay for Kaleidascape, they'll switch to Zidoo; in the same way a Honda owner does not jump up to a Lamborghini.
