Interesting editing. It was a white rod that had a knockdown on it, the angler picked up the white rod, but when they panned back to him he was fighting the fish on a black rod. The magic of video!
Had to watch this video let’s see how do been like 35 years ago I grew up in New Hampshire used to fish Winnepesaukee ice fishing all the way, but we would catch landlocked Atlantic salmon frequently Always just beneath the ice. Of course cats and relays pretended target Lakers lake trout, and/or cusk or What they call now burbot and all the yellow perch you ever want didn’t want
