Changing the idle wouldnt affect the top speed. the adjustment you might want to do is to adjust the air/fuel mixture screw. and install a bigger carb. Big difference in power. Keep up the videos man love it

I have a 49cc 2stroke blaze scooter. Im like 230 or 240 so it isn't that fast, so i wanted to know what other motors could fit on the blaze scooter, like a goped engine or honda engine?
Cool video man. I have a similar scooter my parents bought me in 2003-2004. And I have one of those Baja looking mini bikes 4 stroke 3.5hp that's really old. I got that one in 2002 when I was 12.
This video kinda confused me. I thought smaller sprocket meant faster acceleration and lower top speed vs bigger sprocket was slower acceleration and higher top speed. At least thats how it is with mine. My gas scooter has a small sprocket like the one you bought and would always beat my mini bike (much bigger sprocket) in acceleration but then the mini bike would leave it in the dust in a long straight road.

Another thing. I haven't used my mini bike and scooter for more than 5 years. But this video inspired me to want to fix them and get them up and running again.
Thanks for the feedback Danny. I think in your situation it's more about the power units in each machine rather than their respective sprockets. Because typically larger sprocket in the rear leaving the front the same increase low end but reduces top end. But if you have different size or swapped the front sprocket that can play into things as well.**SK**

Mine sprocket combination 20/44 top speed is around 45kph to 47kph my weight is around 47kg
Hey bro just a heads up your chain is definitely too tight I can hear it whining you need to loosen that up before you break your sprockets..
You definitely good video though I own 3 gas scooters two of them are Uber scouts
They really should make more videos pertaining to scooters or stand up sit down scooters for that matter that's why I appreciate your vid

I've watched all of his videos on this scooter & I actually think that's his gearbox whining b/c he never put any gear oil in it, 😆...I just ordered this same scooter yesterday & they sent me an e-mail today saying that you definitely have to fill up the gearbox about halfway w/ 75w-90 gear oil because the factory just coats everything inside w/ a light grease during assembly but that would flash off pretty quick if you didn't add gear oil & just ran it dry
That would be great if you could do a 15minute trail riding video to see how the suspension holds up.

look s like im going to but something on tmur its a thing for a air fuel thing but i plan o making a ram air cooler and looking to find a welder for a exushst do u still have the carb info stay safe as you blaze don the highway

Thanks for the upload. Glad to see it was worth the money. I have two questions. Are you able to remove the fender bar easily or is it welded on? Is there anything preventing anyone from mounting the back tire with the brakes on the right side instead of the left besides the motor chain. (the predator has a left side shaft so thats why Im curious)
I ordered one several weeks ago but the shipment from China wont be here until July 29th, sucks.
Very welcome. You know I am not home so I cant check but I believe it is welded...but then again how it's constructed it wouldn't be out of the question that there is some bolt, but I don't recall seeing one. As for engine position, I don't think there should be an issue except you will have to get a longer brake cable and re-route it.
@@SKLIFEstyle great to know about the brake cable. Im just hoping I dont have to get an angle grinder or hacksaw out just to remove the bar but Im willing to do so to fit the predator motor.
I broke the weld pulling something and wrecked i have it hooked by two bolts with a smaller pipe underneath and I have it screwed in to the seat pole I took the plastic cover for my light
Put studs on my exhaust and might put a finger throttle since I feel and broke my wrist replaced the gear box

@Revelation1177 I only ever had the normal and speed kit, which reduced the teeth by like 5. I wouldn't look for something much larger than 3 to 5 or else you may lose considerable top end. But I don't know how severe your need is.
What's the sprocket teeth did you put on it
Blaze 🛴 be bull-spitting folks! They still claim this scooter will do 30mph on their website to this day. Your honest review clearly shows it only does about 21mph stock! That is WEAK SAUCE imo...I bought the 2-stroke version myself & have had my fair share of problems with it trust😔 They claim mine would do 35mph too but it feels more like 25 to me I still need to measure it though
I think your 25 mph assessment is probably accurate OTB for the 2 stroke. Downhill, sure, those top speed figures may be right but that's not how people invision being able to go top speed so I agree, not very accurate. Thanks for your feedback. Be sure to Subscribe! @@SKLIFEstyle It's false advertising on their part & it's illegal... period. Ever since the pandemic started I've really had to keep an eye on my budget so I read EVERY little fine print detail before purchase & if you read carefully it will say that their speed claims are based off of a 150 lb. rider on a flat, paved surface. I fluctuate between 155-160 lbs. so the difference shouldn't be 10 mph slower imo but like I said I haven't actually measured top speed yet but trust it feels slow; more like 25mph to me. My sister only weighs like 135-140 so i'll probly get her to test it for me👍
@@SKLIFEstyle I finally downloaded a speedometer app & tested the scooter today...22mph was my top speed...the route I take is approx. 4.2 miles & it includes a big hill so that top speed was probably me going downhill, too!
This freaking chinaped sucks from blaze scooters & this was WITH a performance air filter installed NOT the ugly stock air box👎
@jbone1383 Yeah I haven't messed with the airbox, but not surprised. I didn't buy it for the speed so it doesn't rattle me too much but I certainly get the frustration. One brightside at least mine has held up and runs, hope you get dome good life out of yours too.
High performance air filter with choke will add 4 mph give or take on weight

have you thought about swapping out the stock engine for bigger engine, say 63cc 2-stroke?
Maybe once it blows, or I may go 2000w electric conversion...but probably not before unless I just stumble upon a great deal on one and feel up for the afternoon project.
@@SKLIFEstylegas is much better than electric especially if you live where its cold not to mention the cost if battery replacement or the dangers involved in lipo batteries

T8F I bought a chain from Amazon comes with the tool I don't want to pay his price so I got a 44 in the back but I am getting a 38and 25 but I'm getting 20mph but I also have a broken exhaust you measure the holes with a caliper and it like 29 mm center and 35mm mounting hole I have been buying a gx35 parts the pull switch is 13 became when i got arrested on the. Highway they broke the valve covers I bought one from Amazon but got it from e replacements parts good to have a extra pull switch Uber won't let u take it I started mine and broke the cord right after it started that engine might not be 49 cc the bore and stroke is listed but I don't have a problem I think a lie will always be a lie the truth will always come out were a helmet and don't get. Life flight I was ran over on a bike and died 4 times not to mention a coma
I was wondering I got a 17 or 20 sprocket up front and 44 I'm only getting 20 mph do u think I wore my clutch I had all the teeth on the rear shredded and one one the gear box broke do u know if they make anything bigger then a 22 next move is 38 on the back
Got a 25 but I think the 17 was for a different chain
Well be putting a 25 in the front and the 38 I have replaced the clutch but I don't want else might be the problem with the speed I think the one is a 17 but that should not make a difference is when you take to much chain out will that matter
Got a exuast is there a way to send a picture of it and the hitch that spell cost me a grand for teeth and got in trouble for driving on the highway

Is that sprocket universal or made for your scooter specifically?
I don't see why it couldn't possible fit other scooters or small motorbikes. But I did purchase it from the Blaze company so it is for sure made for this specific scooter. Link to buy it is in the video description if you are interested.**SK**

if its under 49cc yes if it says its like 52 or 53 cc then your still fine because thats just what the round the actual cc up to the real cc of the bore is around 48.4cc
My manual came out to 31 cc
I have only got in trouble once since March I ride about 40 miles a day and I was on the highway towing a trailer ride untill I die broke my jaw and wrecked a couple of times lights went out be careful u can never have enough batteries
How long was the delivery?
A week at most. It was quick for the accessory. The scooter itself as well to be honest.

Was'nt it supposed to have a stock top speed of 28mph?
I can't remember but it was 2-4 mph down from what I expected.
you don't need to change the idle dude you're not making it go any faster you're just making the engine run faster without doing anything I think your confused if you want to make it go faster mess with the air fuel mixture ratio on the carburetor and then you might see an actual change but put that idle back down to stock

I wouldn't doubt you could, but I haven't tried. Just a 50cc Honda/Ryobi clone engine pretty much. I know Blaze Scooters sells parts, too, you can probably get one there, too.
Mine goes about 20, and I need it to go 30 on long trips, 50+ miles.

I got a 20 tank for a gallon and a locking tank for the front it was 30 I try to prepay because I spelt stuff that I had to pay because it was broke also goosegrips has one that can be made to work I just use the fender bibe but was bent higher so I can tow

You want more speed? Make it direct drive and bring back the old sprocket 54t. It will run 30mph
its gonna be slow as shit if its friction drive and you will have more wear on the parts these things stock go faster than real $700 gopeds

Stop wasting your money on that you need to get yourself a direct clutch and removed the centrifical clutch Daniel top out at at least 50 to 60 miles clean
