      Glad you liked the lesson and my poster. I've loved Minor Threat ever since since I bought "Out Of Step" on cassette back in the mid 80s. I'm big fan of Fugazi too. Keep on rockin'

    I have Damian's DVD, and it is a fabulous teaching/learning tool! You will get more out of it if you are an intermediate or better player, but it is a must have for good rockabilly riffs.

      My Jump Blues DVD will be available soon. I know there are a lot of people out there who are waiting for it and it seems like the release date seems to keep getting pushed back farther and farther, but it should definitely be available this summer, hopefully sooner.     Hi Damian! I´ve watched your lessons since I´ve tried to play(rockabilly) guitar. In an older video you´ve shown a lick, that it´s a little similar to this one but you´ve chanched it for this lesson so we can hear and see how much power is in this kind of licks. For me, this one is one of the all time best rockabilly signature licks and if you are the creator of this lick you can be very proud that you are so blessed which your talent. And if anybody else is the creator, I think nobody could play it better than you.All the best, B.! This is so rockabilly, (it makes me sick :)!!!

    Hey Damian thanks for a great lesson. i was wondering, that's a pretty good stretch from the 5th to the 9th fret, why do't you use your pincky?

      That's a good question. Many years ago I broke my pinky riding BMX and it has never fully healed correctly and as I get older it's been getting more and more bothersome especially after playing guitar for hours a day like I do. So when I can I try not to use it and opt for other fingers if I can.
      But you should use whichever finger you feel most comfortable with.

      Washburn & Ibanez make some nice affordable jazz guitars. Also Gretsch guitars just came out with the Streamliner line of guitars that are budget priced. Sometimes you can find good deals on Ebay. I've bought a few guitars on Ebay at decent prices and have been very happy with them.

      Gretsch Electromatic's are fantastic guitars. I've played many of them and I've always thought they were a great value for the money! :)

    What scale is Damien playing in? If it's the A minor pentatonic which has the notes A, C, D, F, G, then why is he including a C# (9th fret, 1st string)?

      Hi Tony. I was played a mixture of the A minor blues & the A major blues pentatonic scale. The A major blues scale contains a C#. Thanks for watching the lesson. :)
