Foreigners first Indian train journey🇮🇳... NOT WHAT I EXPECTED!

- Our driver got sick and we had to drive his taxi through the jungle of Meghalaya from Shnongpdeng up to Shillong, as part of our total journey up to Darjeeling, West Bengal. We had a 26 hour travel day total. After an 8 hour car journey to Guwahati, we then have to get a 45 minute rickshaw to our hotel. Where we had 1.5hr nap and then back in a taxi to Guwahati train station. Then we took the train up to Siliguri where we got into another jeep taxi up through the hills of Darjeeling, arriving 26 hours later in the beautiful town of Darjeeling. Onward.

ayy mate try bookin' a 1st class the seats are longer and broader and you get private cabins with timber color leather . you could've also done the ac 2nd tire it got 2 seats vertically instead of 3 in your 3 tier one
...if you choose rajdhani express it only takes 6 hours in that train and you get included course meals water and nice hospitality and environment. the serviece is excellent too yk. also try the guwahati station it is bigger and better trains path their way from there....
Hope you have a license cause if someone puts this on Twitter and tags the concerned police departments then most of the times action is taken.

Hey Lawrence, avoid Varanasi. Better visit places like Kashmir (Gulmarg, sonmarg, Pulwama ) , Uttarakhand. Varanasi is noisy , shitty , chaotic , unorganised place atleast not for luxury tourists. Only religious folks find it peaceful, practically there isn’t anything like peaceful….
