Your advice to the students is really good! Afterall it's they who lose an academic year and possibly a career! Palestinian issue remains the same since our college days. Hamas is more interested in the annihilation of jews and in the process Palestine people get killed. Theirs is a religious hate, not living together peacefully! Students can't find solutions instead become victims!

Supporting Israel is not the same as blindly supporting all factions of Israel lobby, some of whom are very anti-India (eg. Victoria Nuland and her fellow NeoCons). I see that Victoria Nuland and her fellow Neocons are quite pro-Israel, due to the fact that they led the effort to topple Arab strongmen like Iraq's Saddam Hussein, followed by Libya's Qaddafi, and then finally trying to topple Syria's Assad - with that last effort being unsuccessful due to the intervention of Russia. This seems to have led to NeoCons then targeting Russia more directly, by instigating Ukraine for this purpose. NeoCons have likewise been unsuccessful in economically isolating Russia and collapsing its economy, because India will not abandon its economic and military relationship with Russia, which is in India's national interest. This has now made India's Modi govt a target of the NeoCons. I'm sorry, but as an Indian, I cannot abandon my support of India just because some members of the Israel lobby don't like my country. We have to fight back against the anti-India NeoCons, and stand up for India and its interests.
Bidhan is beginning like Nehru as in 64 war with China.
