I was raised catholic but my parents were not practicing catholics, so I had also a very shallow understanding of the Catholic Faith. When I became adult, a protestant invited me to attend their bible study and worship service. I attended only for 1 week. I got confused even more. I asked myself, "How come there are so many different churches and religions? Which is the true Church founded by Our Lord Jesus?" Then I saw a frame with a prayer written on it. The prayer is, "Teach me Your ways, O Lord, guide me in Your truth and lead me to Your path." (Psalm 25). I started to pray it often and became everyday. Then, I had asked Our Lord Jesus, "Lord, what is the TRUE Church You founded? Lead me there." Jesus led me to the Catholic Church (because It is the Church He established). Since then, I started studying the catholic teachings. I bought a big Bible, spiritual books, books about the life of saints, the writing of the saints like St. Alphonsus Liguori, St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross etc and the rest is history. Lol.

Dear Christians if JESUS being born without a father proves he is God ➜ Then does that make Adam God, because he has no father or mother ❓
      If being called son of God makes JESUS a real son of GOD ➜ then GOD has lots of CHILDREN ( 1 John 3:2 ) Dear friends, now we are children of God ➜ ( John 1 : 12 ) ( Galatians 3 : 26 ) ( Isaiah 43: 6-7 ) ( Ephesians 4 : 6 )
If being able to perform miracles makes you GOD, then Elijah is GOD ➜ ( 2 Kings 2:8 ) Then Elijah took his cloak and rolled it up and struck the water, and the water was parted to the one side and to the other, till the two of them could go over on dry ground
If JESUS was on a MISSION to die for our sins ➜ Why was he begging GOD to SAVE him ❓( Jesus Cried out in a Loud voice, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" ) ( Matthew 27 : 46 )

Jesus was reciting the psalm. 22. If you read the whole verse, you will realize that the bottom line is that God is always there.
Your Ifs and therefore logics are full of holes, Your first argument doesn't even exist- No Christian religion claim that Jesus is God simply because He was born without a father.
Jesus is truly the Son . Nicene creed states that He is the ONLY begotten Son, compared to the 'lots of children' you mentioned.
Why can't God authorize His people to do miracles for Him?

I had a Catholic upbringing until i was 14. At that time my Catholic father succumbed to the pressure of my Baptist mother and we switched. I had attended Catholic school up until that point and truly loved being Catholic. For the next 30 years I found myself in Protestant Churches but it never felt like home. Catholicism was in my heart. For some reason I always had Roman Catholic on my dog tags during my 20 year career. It was just in my heart. I’m now active in my Parish and have found so much peace being home finally.

For me as a cradle Catholic I’ve come to realize that the greatest stumbling block for Catholic’s is not being taught or learned of many things that the Catholic Church teaches on scriptures and traditions of the church,I can testify to this because I was unlearned not knowing much at all when I was a child and having said that this is what caused me to have been led away from the Catholic Church for over 30 plus years. And then one day it happened a most powerful thing spirit shot down into the top of my head and spread through out my whole body and I was completely changed and led back to the Catholic Church, now I have to say this and that is I really don’t know if it was Jesus or the Holy Spirit or Immaculate Mother Mary that had done that but I definitely can say that it brought me back to The One Holy Apostolic Catholic Christian Church of Traditional Teachings and Worship YEAH ALLELUIA AMEN DEO GRATIS HOSANNA IN EXCELSIS DEO GLORIA IN EXCELSIS DEO 🐑🕊️🔥✨

true. as a child, i was baptized catholic: always brought to mass and was taught how to pray the rosary. i soon started to become bored and become cradle catholic. it took 30 years of my life to become enthusiastic for the catholic faith. i realized that no one explained to me whats really happening either to mass or the rosary. but when you study it deeply and learn more, it will all makes sense. and you will know that catholic faith is the true church Jesus started.

I so appreciate that I received the sacrament of the Eucharist when I was older. Grade 5 to be exact. I don't think I would have understood the essence of transubstantiation that takes place at every mass if i was any younger. I was totally overwhelmed on that day and shed tears of appreciation. Jesus truly present on the alter for me; for all of us, was explained to me with absolute faith and a deep love from Sr Emma(RIP) and this was felt in my very soul. Nothing could ever tear me away from this gift of the Eucharist. I just feel I was totally blest to have had two amazing and deeply faithful teachers in late Fr Abdo and Sr Emma.🙏🙌

Protestant preaching sounds to me to be more about attacking the Catholic Church then actually preaching about Jesus.
You won't hear these attacks in reverse in the Mass.
The Mass is all about the worship of our Lord.
A Protestant sermon should be centered on worship and minus the attacks.

I am old enough to remember the Cuban missle crisis and Mass attendance and lines at the confessional was very high. I sort of talked about this in a previous comment, but are Catholics supposed to prioritize the well being of our planet or mankind? And are we worshiping Gaia when we think about our planet and its possible future?

    • @CatholicTruthOfficial
      @CatholicTruthOfficial  4 дні тому +2

There's nothing wrong with taking care of the planet and being good stewards of what God gave us, but obviously mankind is a priority always as we alone are made in the image and likeness of God.

Im listening to you Michael, you seem to be looking for the right church, I have been there, I know what you are talking about. A group, a church, where is the answer? Seek God with all your heart, no matter what church you are in, and He will lead you. We keep hidden secrets 'SINS' that we desire, that keeps us from the truth that would set us free. Seek Him Michael

Everyone doesn't worship the same. If you believe Jesus is the Savior & Repent to God thru Jesus if you sin & try to keep God's Commandments, You are a Christian. But the problem with Catholics is, They Don't Completely go by the Bible. Mark 7: 13 Making the word of God of none effect thru your tradition. The Catholic Church has made their traditions equal or above the word of God by Not going by the Bible. If you think bowing to statues and pretending a wafer is Jesus maybe that is the place for you. But you can eat all the wafers you want but it Will Not save you. Salvation comes thru Faith & Repentance & Doing God's will.{Keeping God's commandments}, It also is important to Pray & Read Your Bible. We are Saved by God's Grace.

Jesus Christ tells us that unless you eat His flesh and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Communion in the Catholic Church goes by the teachings of Jesus Christ where communion becomes His body and blood. Non-Catholic churches do not obey Christ concerning communion.
I spent 55 years in non-Catholic churches. It was my Bible (not Catholic) that converted me to Catholicism. The more I read my Bible the more Catholic I become

@@For3nity The Catholics declared those people as saints, everyone must seek out their own salvation, the answers is in the Bible, you don’t have to be a monk or nun or priest to get to heaven. But we must accept Jesus as the savior that died for our sins and rose the third day, repent when we sin to God and try to keep God’s commandments. Pray and Read your Bible is important.

@CatholicTruthOfficial the holy spirit is promised to all who receive God's gift of eternal life through the Savior Jesus christ .even your blessed mother received him on Pentecost .And who in there right spiritual mind will not receive or cast away the sprit .When the sprit empowered christ to do every work he did as a man in his ministry work .As well the same is required of all his followers which is why Pentecost took place .GOD preordained this before the foundation of the earth .And the one that leads and guides us into all truthfulness is the holy sprit of promise not religious institutions .Stop grieving the sprit by your Multitude of heretical doctrinal errors.

@CatholicTruthOfficial The Holy Spirit is to a “guarantee.”
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory (Ephesians 1:13, 14 ).
The Holy Spirit makes us certain that God will give us what He promised. He guarantees that we will receive our inheritance.
He has also sealed us and given us the Spirit as a down payment in our hearts (2 Corinthians 1:22 )
And the One who prepared us for this very thing is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment (2 Corinthians 5:5 ).
The Holy Spirit is our down payment that more is to come.
